Is popular culture now designed by and for chimpanzees?

While watching "Lady Gaga" attempt to entertain us during half-time at the Superbowl yesterday I found myself asking: is popular culture now designed by and for chimpanzees?

Even the few pop stars who seem to be publicly against the endless sex and drug themes nevertheless strongly believe that the only moral imperative is to have no moral imperative, "freedom" for them is always license and a relativity values---we all must be free even to destroy ourselves.

Are sex and drugs really all there is to pop culture?

The decayed academic world of the present generation backs up this decayed philosophy by preaching moral relativism to their self-hating yet self-absorbed students. And of course what is now the Evil Media also promotes the same destruction of healthy values.

Both high and low culture need to get back in harmony with real human nature, which remains kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection.

Rational and instinctive culture, high and low, need to move in this direction---they will anyway, since degenerate empires always fall.
