When politics is understood as a branch of biology

Real natural law must be directed to the biological origin of social behavior. Political philosophy is best understood as a branch of biology. Modern political systems have deviated from the biological origin of social behavior. This is also the root cause of the decline of Western civilization.

A rational creature can understand what is good for him and cooperate with biology and biological evolution. Without biology, there is no basis for political or moral judgments. The rational and emotional way to think about politics would be to affirm ethnostatism as natural law.

Natural law, when including the biological origin of social behavior, tells us that society, and the ethnostate, are natural to man. We have a biology determined human nature even if modern man doesn’t think we do. Our real freedom is limited by various determined choices, but we have the flexibility to be mistaken about who we are and what we can do.

If we include what we really are in our cultural schemes and programs we will admit our behavior, intelligence, and personalities are to a large extent heritable. Both liberals and conservative's block or conceal the basic ethnic-centered and xenophobic parts of human nature. If real kin and ethnic-centered human nature was allowed to be what it is, it would naturally lead to ethnostates, and finally, if we are wise, to an ethnopluralism of ethnostates for all groups, black, white, brown, yellow, or red, with each ethnostate protected from marauding imperialists, global businesses, supremacists, Marxists, etc., and defended by a defensive federalism. An ethnopluralism of ethnostates could be established legally in the United States with our constitutional separation of powers and states.

There is a way to reconcile and synthesize the endless battles for First Things

 In the battles between the right and the left, the replacement the spiritual by the material, the group by the individual, the will to power versus reason, Nietzsche against Aristotle, there is a way to reconcile and synthesize these things: Godhood is evolved to in the material world. It is the material will to Godhood that replaces the will to power and the spiritual drive.

The “first cause” is the material activation within life, Tirips, or the will-to-Godhood activating material life, and then life is shaped by the vagaries of natural selection and evolution. There is endless evolution toward higher and higher truth, intelligence, beauty, and goodness, that is, continually evolving ascending Godhoods are reached. Life can also fall back in devolution, new cosmos are formed again, always giving life another chance to evolve to Godhood.

We can conservatively keep the old ascetic inward path to the "god" within in the Twofold Path, but only as a symbolic glimpse of the real Godhood reached in the outward path of material evolution to real Godhood. The Twofold Path can make room for the traditional, non-object-idea-only definitions of the God-Within, or even the bliss feelings of Father-Within of the Inward Path of the great religions---this is included but transformed in the Outward Path to Godhood in the theological materialism of the projected Theoevolutionary Church.

And evolutionary conservatism believes that if real kin and ethnic-centered human nature was allowed to be what it is, it would naturally lead to regionalism, localism, general conservative values, eventually ethnostates, and finally an ethnopluralism of ethnostates for all groups, black, white, brown, yellow, or red, with each ethnostate protected from marauding imperialists, global businesses, supremacists, Marxists, etc., and defended by a defensive federalism. An ethnopluralism of ethnostates could be established legally in the United States with our constitutional separation of powers and states.

The Third Covenant versus both the Traditionalist School and the Great Reset

Political philosophers talk of ideologies, like the Great Reset, religious philosophers talk of covenants, mysticism, etc, like the Traditionalist School, I believe the Third Covenant, the Cosmic Covenant, surpasses both of these.

As Michael Rectenwald said in his excellent essay on Klaus Schwab, chairman of the World Economic Forum, “What Is the Great Reset?” (Imprimus, Dec 2021) “Another way of describing the goal of the Great Reset is “capitalism with Chinese characteristics”—a two-tiered economy, with profitable monopolies and the state on top and socialism for the majority below...While approved corporations are not necessarily monopolies, the tendency of the Great Reset is toward monopolization—vesting as much control over production and distribution in as few favored corporations as possible, while eliminating industries and producers deemed non-essential or inimical. To bring this reset about, Schwab writes, “[e]very country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed.”

As have said before, my view of the absolute importance of human evolution kept me away from the brilliant seduction of the Traditionalist School which is where the Alt-right turned. Many have now gone over to the school of Guenon, Evola, and the Russian Dugin, and embraced a non-populist, old spiritual religious, imperialist, hierarchy of rule, and have downplayed or even rejected the idea of science and evolutionary progress. Why didn't the Alt-right feature more Western geniuses, men like the brilliant British/American psychologist Raymond Cattell, or the great Neo-Darwinist field of sociobiology, rather than converting to the West-hating Russian imperialist Aleksandr Dugin and his Traditionalist School teachers, Guénon and Evola who did not find science (a jewel of the West) nearly as important as Eastern spiritualism (a jewel of the East).

I wrote of Three Covenants explaining how in the First Covenant of Primordial Tradition the Spirit and Soul of the Inward Path were understood as existing in the blood, that is, as being passed on only racially and tribally to a chosen eg. (Jewish) or noble (Aryan) people, etc.. Then Jesus Christ (and Eastern masters) brought the knowledge that the spirit and Soul-Within need not be understood and affirmed only racially or tribally but could be understood and followed by any race, any people, universally, provided they were taught the proper way to see or experience the God Within; Christianity said we were “Chosen” through faith in Christ not chosen by blood. That was the Second Covenant. Theological materialism (and the projected Theoevolutionary Church) affirm the mission and path of the Third Covenant, the Cosmic Covenant of the Evolutionary Outward Path, which revitalizes Primordial Tradition, Christianity, Hinduism etc. by once again affirming the First Covenant of genetic and biological qualities within our material evolution to supermaterial Godhood as applied to the Outward Path of material evolution to supermaterial Godhood, yet also, as in the Second Covenant, this is applied to all people, all nations, all races, all people, preferably living in their own protected states or ethnostates with access to knowledge of the material evolution to Godhood. That is the synthesis of the Three Covenants in theological materialism.

The Third Covenant acknowledges the biological origin of our social behavior which can end the intellectual separation between political ideologies and religious covenants, pointing toward the religious/political/cultural solution of the ethnopluralism hypothesis, often written about here. It is a conservative transformation---not revolution---that can bring about an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, which is the sociopolitical or political/cultural structure most in harmony with kin-centered and ethnocentric real human nature which evolved many thousands of years ago and remains with us today. Each ethnostate, each ethnic group, each race, can have access to knowledge of our sacred material evolution to supermaterial Godhood, and can pursue that sacred evolution in their own way in their own protected states, in the variety that is conducive to evolution, perhaps aided by nonpartisan international sociobiological research centers, as Raymond Cattell suggested.

The forced imperialism, supremacism, and multiculturalism of the world will give way to an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, in line with real kin and ethnic-centered human nature. I think the real debate in the U.S. should be over how we can conservatively adapt the Constitutional separation of powers and states to an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. Cooperative competition between small ethnostates and regions, protected internally and externally from imperialism, supremacism, and multiculturalism by some sort of federalism, which can bring the variety and creativity that evolution prefers, as we all materially evolve toward Godhood.

The so-called irrational is really rational

The will (Tirips), or the will to materially evolve to Godhood within all life is rational and is a sensible, reasonable explanation for Godhood and how to get there, which solves the dilemma of Nietzsche (and Schopenhauer) over the differences between truth, the will, art, science, the rational and irrational. Godhood is not seen as apart from material life or otherworldly (spiritual) but as the goal of ascending levels of materially evolved life, rationally reached at the instigation of the will, as well as by super-reason and science. Godhood as the zenith of life and material evolution is defined as ultimate truth, beauty and goodness.

If we ask why does “life” “live?” Why is life animate rather than inanimate? Why does life have metabolism, growth, reproduction? Why doesn’t life just sit there doing nothing? Why has life persisted time and again in evolving from the simple to the complex under the most extreme conditions?

It is more than an outward action or reaction, there is an inward vitalism working within and shaped by outside evolution. This is the activation of the will to life, and when it is amplified it is seen as the will-to-evolve-toward-Godhood.

This brings the real world into religion and religion into the real world, and most importantly it unblocks the long-blocked natural path to evolving to real Godhood, the real purpose of existence, which is only reflected in the God-Within. This means a trans-valuation of Plato's and I dare say Nietzsche's world, long overdue. The so-called irrational is really rational.

The-will-to-evolve-toward-Godhood is the future of religion and science transformed

The-will-to-evolve-toward-Godhood,---“that is all Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know” (to adapt Keats). The goal of evolving to Godhood need not deprive us of either science or religion. When Godhood is seen as a naturalistic and theological goal, the goal of evolution, then biology and theology need not settle for the empty spiritualism. Nature and philosophy can be seen as life materially evolving toward ascending levels of Godhood.

The main problem with traditional asceticism is that it blocks the path of material evolution to real supermaterial Godhood, which requires material desires, but channeled desires that need to genetically and culturally funnel evolving life-forms toward the supermaterial zenith of beauty, truth and goodness. This allows material science to enter religion as a help-mate. That is the future of religion and science transformed.

I see the great process of evolution as activated from within every atom and within every cell of living bodies, which then react and adapt to the various outside environments that life lives in. This activation is the same activation that leads to the desire to successfully survive and reproduce. And this activation is a material/supermaterial activation, not spiritual. I see “evolution moving inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms,” as Raymond Cattell put it.

The-will-to-evolve-toward-Godhood, or Tirips, is an inward, purely physical activation working along with the shaping of outside evolution and selection. But even without acknowledging this inward purpose we can see that evolution has been moving toward more efficient forms, more complexity, with occasional stops and side-turnings along the way.

The realistic way to solve Martin Buber's “I-Thou and I-It'” way of looking at the world is not to define the I-Thou as identifying with a spiritual God ruling all people and demanding that we religiously call each other “Thou” rather than “It,” but rather to acknowledge and and affirm that the biological origin of social behavior favors the survival of the I-It attitude with all ethnic groups and races, because all groups biologically seek survival and reproductive success for themselves first; we can then redefine the I Thou as respecting the right of each ethnic group to seek survival and reproductive success living separately in ethnostates with ethnopluralism.

The religious justification for an ethnopluralism of ethnostates need not reach down to spiritualism but up to the process of the material evolution of life toward Godhood, activated from within every cell of living bodies, which then react and adapt to the various outside environments that life lives in. This activation is the same activation that leads to the desire to successfully survive and reproduce. The goal of evolving to Godhood need not deprive us of either politics, science, or religion. When Godhood is seen as a naturalistic and theological goal, the goal of evolution, then biology and theology need not settle for the empty spiritualism. We can have, and we need, both science and religion

The primal world (energy or will) belongs to both the physicist and the theologian. Naturalism can be enlarged to theological materialism. Life and the world is evolving toward Godhood. Evolution never ends, it moves inevitably in a pattern---even though it has its random elements---and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat---toward higher and higher more effective living forms, always evolving toward ascending levels of Godhood. We can have biological idealism grounded in naturalism, we can have, and we need, both science and religion. We need more than postmodernism in the academic world, hedonism promoted by the Big Media, modern liberalism on the left, libertarianism on the right, or totalitarian Marxism.

History as the narrative of progress

A big philosophical and religious divide today is between those who see history as the narrative of progress (Hegel, Cattell? Wilber?) and those say the world lacks teleological design and purpose in the material world ( Schopenhauer, early Nietzsche, Postmodernism, Science?).

The hopeless relativity of values that is promoted by modern philosophy is untrue and unreal. There exists a biological teleology, a design and purpose in the material world, flowing through all life, which offers freedom but within a determined biological teleology.

Qualities such as intelligence, emotional stability, conscience (altruism), good health, good sensory organs, longevity, these are some of the aims of eugenics, and these things reach their highest quality, or their zenith, as evolution moves toward Godhood, which is aesthetically the beautiful, religiously the good, and philosophically and scientifically the true.

Naturalistic biological determinism with theological materialism

I think in terms of a realistic or naturalistic biological determinism, which leads not to a bias of idealism but calls the human brain a survival organ that sees the world in terms of survival and reproductive success. This is not a Kantian bias it is the real world as it is. I see a natural will to survival and reproduction success of the genes also aided in evolution by an inward, purely physical activation to materially evolve toward ascending levels of Godhood. This is not a “transcendental” idealism but a natural evolutionary upward evolutionary drive working along with natural selection and evolution. We lack a total worldview that seamlessly includes both science and religion when all our social schemes are driven by this biological origin of social behavior, and the universe really is a mechanism for evolving Gods, which we should consciously get in step with since we are already unconsciously driven by it. Art and politics follow with evolutionary realism and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, and with theological materialism in religious philosophy.

Metaphysics is nonsense

Metaphysics is nonsense in all the meanings of that word: foolish, not logical or reasonable, and literally not of the senses. It is impossible to have knowledge not of one material sense or another, even the vaunted "intellectual intuition," which mystics claim brings truths from beyond the world of the senses, is nonsense in all the meanings of that word. Abstract theory with no basis in reality is a game we can play but the material object is all when defining reality, and even when defining supermaterial Godhood.

As I have written here before: Nonexistent spiritual definitions have been given far too much attention and power in religion and philosophy, which has led to misdefining and degrading the real world. Ascetics even put up a Great Spiritual Blockade against the material world, which actually blocks the real path to Godhood of material evolution. When people like Paul Tillich or Heidegger say such things as, “God is being-itself, not being,” they perpetuate the same belief in nothing but a mode of thinking.

Spiritual definitions need to drop back to their support role or defining role and they need to cease to be Gods themselves. The natural world has to be unblocked if we are to reach real Godhood by way of evolution. The confusing name-games for God will stop when Godhood is seen as existing in the same sense and the same world that everything else exists in. The exoteric needs to rise again over the esoteric in religious theology, and does so with theological materialism where Godhood is seen as a supermaterial object evolved to in the material world.

Religion and science need an evolutionary tune up followed by politics

It has been said that politics is down stream from culture, and culture is down stream from religion. But religion has been slowly dying since the the 17th and 18th century Enlightenment, and it's demise has been speeding up since then. Science has not filled the gap although for many in the West it has tried to take the place of religion. Both religion and science need a tune up where they can take things from each other.

As I wrote here back in 2013: “The transfiguring goal for Friedrich Nietzsche in his early writings was the creation of great men, a republic of genius. Although that is very important it is not nearly enough. Renewal requires the religious goal of our evolution to Godhood in the cosmos, which brings a far more exalted renewal of consciousness, and contains the power to revive religion, philosophy and art in the enlarged modern world.

It is not tragic music, as Nietzsche and Schopenhauer thought, which expresses “the immediate language of the will,” it is evolution. It is not the Will To Power but the Will To Godhood that activates life, which evolution then shapes, that is the real source for a renewal of mythopoetic power. Evolution is the super-epic for art, glorifying the struggle to attain Godhood. Art can bring religion to life but it is not religion.

Religion and philosophy can recognize evolutionary religion as what we need, politics can help create it, and art and religious rituals can affirm it. Our evolution can even be democratic, with a federal system respecting and protecting the independent parts of the whole, maintaining the separate variety which advances evolution best, now we can envision cooperative competition in evolution, as we gradually evolve beyond the human sub-species toward Godhood.

The Twofold Path brings together inward traditional religion with outward material-supermaterial evolution. The Twofold Path offers conservatism and synthesis to religion and science, and allows the new to work along with the old, without the damage of revolution, and most importantly offers the divine evolutionary path to real Godhood.

I did not erect theological materialism on the ruins of Christianity, as modern thinkers did with science and the humanities, I wanted to renew the religious building, not tear it down. This rebirth was done through the Twofold Path, where the God-Within, the Father-Within, is seen as the first glimpse, or the mirror of the Godhood reached through material and supermaterial evolution. But this was a revelatory insight and not done simply to retain Christianity, and not done because I in fact do respect the conservative thinkers who see the great value for life in traditions.

Early Nietzsche could not see his way out of the loss of both religion and science other than through the rebirth of art-myth as a guide to truth, along with creating individual great men as the goal of culture. Nietzsche thought that this loss of myth was the result of the reasoning of Socrates which supposedly destroyed myth, and also after the “historical sense” and the abstract pursuit of knowledge for knowledge sake in modern times further destroyed myth and religion. Kant helped this destruction along by showing the limits of knowledge, and Schopenhauer by adding the Will as the superior force to all knowledge.

Theological materialism and the Theoevolutionary Church can revive both religion and science after modern life could not retrieve them as a satisfactory guide to truth. This brings along the religious-cultural goal of evolving increasingly great men, and also the sacred goal of attaining real Godhood in evolution in the Outward Path, the God first seen and mirrored in the Inward Path of the great religions.”

The post-modernists tell us we can't have a meta-narrative but that is precisely what we need in this world gone mad. We need a new kind of Gesamtkunstwerk, a synthesis of the arts, religion and the sciences, we need a meta-narrative that makes use of all forms.

I know where I want to go: first we ground the humanities in sociobiology.This logically and instinctively leads to a natural definition of human nature, which logically and instinctively leads to ethnostates and ethnopluralism, where kin and ethnic groups feel most at home.Then we see that biology is evolving upward toward Godhood, with starts and stops along the way.Then we help evolution along the way toward Godhood.Then we have not just a work of art that makes use of all art forms, but a religious/philosophical/scientific/artistic work combining all the fields.

Does that scare you or give you hope? It gives me hope. It's a lasting foundation.

In the grand religious/philosophical metaphor of theological materialism the spiritual is seen as material or more precisely as the supermaterial, and arrived at through material evolution. Traditional religion and much of philosophy sees it the other way around, material things are considered grand illusions of the real spiritual world. That is a very deep “transvalution of values” which even Nietzsche seems to have believed, as his will to power seems to be a non-material force. Heidegger's Being also seems to be non-material and spiritual.

In private caves and public monasteries the ascetics sought to block the material world and material desires so as to experience the God within, and the “truth” most philosophers sought was nonmaterial. But theological materialism sees the God within as only the first glimpse or experience of the real Godhood reached in various levels of the Outward Path of material evolution.

The natural sacred purpose that contradicts Nietzsche and postmodernism

 Some think the nihilism and the hopeless relativity of postmodern philosophy began with Nietzsche's declaration that “God is dead,” but that declaration was probably more a call for the freedom to create new non-Christian values with Nietzsche trying to sweep away the idea that there could be any absolute truth. It wasn't necessary, because Godhood is not dead, Godhood is redefined and transformed as the goal of biological evolution, and it is a teleological evolution.

Future religion depends on changing the scientific taboo that evolving life has no teleological or theological goal. “Evolution moves inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms” (Cattell) all the way to ascending levels of Godhood, while working along with natural selection and evolution. This process of evolution is activated from within every cell of living bodies, which then react and adapt to the various outside environments that life lives in. This activation is reflected in the desire to successfully survive and reproduce. And this activation is a material/supermaterial activation, not spiritual.

For Nietzsche, life seeks goalless power, amorally or immorally if need be, or creates its own morality. Theology and metaphysics are spent forces for Nietzsche mainly because Nietzsche dismisses direction and purpose in power and in evolution. But when Godhood is seen and known as a naturalistic and theological goal, the goal of evolution, then biology and theology need not settle for the empty spiritualism that Nietzsche detested.

Nietzsche wanted philosophy to ally itself with natural science, but with the naturalism of sociobiology, for example, the altruism which Nietzsche saw as only weakness is rather seen as advancing the power of group survival and reproductive success, with religion helping to bond that altruism. I see no reason to reject these values as a weakness for the will-to-power. Nietzsche remains a nihilist, and his preference for naturalism in philosophy doesn't change his nihilism because Nietzsche saw no direction, no order, no goal to evolution, other than amoral, directionless power.

How traditional religions can be transformed to save them

 Maybe the magnificent beauty alone of the church buildings will save them from the slow fall of Christianity which has been dying as materialism increasingly explains the former mysteries of religion. Change is reality, but so is retaining the best of the past. That is also the way evolution works. The human body and brain evolved by retaining the fish, reptilian and mammalian brain. That is conservatism in action.

Conservatism is vitally important in the lives of human beings and human cultures, retaining what was long developed is important to humans and to human survival. The culture of Christianity is virtually baked into Western civilization, but it can be transformed, just as Christianity retained but transformed Judaism, Odinism, and the pagan Greeks and Romans.

Odin could be called the first Western Faustian man seeking knowledge and power at all costs. But being Faustian, Western knowledge has moved on from Odin to where we can now see that the path to real Godhood is through material evolution, with help from science.

The Christian world has disparaged the idea of becoming God as being highly blasphemous. Traditional religions have demanded that their God be spiritual and beyond the vulgar and evil material world, the desires of the material flesh are to be blocked or overcome in order to see the God Within.

But the Inward Path to the God Within of Christ (and Buddha) can be retained and now seen as the first symbolic experience of the real Godhood reached through the Outward Path of material evolution. This is explained in the Twofold Path of theological materialism. The Twofold Path conservatively does not reject either paganism or Christianity. We can actually become Gods by affirming the material evolution to ascending levels of supermaterial Godhood, which is the transformed and evolved Godhood of the great religions.

Inward path religion needs now to enter the Evolutionary Outward Path stage, while retaining the traditional Inward Path. Then we can keep our magnificent church buildings and our magnificent religions.

The intellectualization of crap as culture

At least by the time of Post-World War II abstract expressionism we can compare modern art to other fields of modern culture and see the general intellectualization of crap as culture. We now have postmodernism, Marxism, feminism, multiculturalism, which are all absurdness, lies, and undisguised wills to power astoundingly taught in virtually all our schools and reflected throughout the media which are infected with the same mass delusional state and cheering it on. How did we become so sick?

The explanation that seems plausible to me for the freakish victory of postmodernism, Marxism, feminism, etc. in the academic world and in the media is that the relativistic power philosophy of postmodernism was not successfully countered by the traditional conservatives because they could not fully accept their best defense, which is the biological origin of our social behavior, taught by the scientific synthesis of sociobiology. They could not even affirm religion as essentially having been a better way to socially bond groups together (altruism) for successful survival and reproduction. Traditionalists could not see beyond their definition of God as being outside the world of biological power and material desires, and so postmodernism won the academic power war.

This cultural sickness has got to change if we want to save the West. Real human nature has almost nothing to do with what business schools, political science departments, postmodernism, and libertarianism are teaching. Real human nature remains gender defined, heterosexual, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, among other traditional things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection and survival---super-individualism and hedonism do not much apply.

It is a conservative and bio-political transformation---not revolution---that is coming, eventually, a return to real human nature, which can bring about an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, where different ethnic groups can politically and culturally conduct themselves according to who they actually are, in their own states even within our Democratic Republics, perhaps with only a few amendments to our constitutional separation of powers and states.

Where Nietzsche and his postmodern followers went wrong

The will to power is a secondary activation to the will to evolve in the material world to ascending levels of supermaterial Godhood, which activates the will to power for that essential purpose, like the pleasure from eating food is secondary to the need of food for successful survival and reproduction.

"Evolution moves inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms," all the way to ascending levels of Godhood. As long as we are alive every cell in our body demands life and survival and reproductive success, with the zenith of success as evolving to Godhood. This natural activation can be blocked, subverted, or it can be unknown to us, but it can't legitimately be intellectually or instinctively denied.

If the epistemology and ontology of the philosophers can't find this to be real and true, if the intellect can find no direction or purpose to life or can find no meta-narrative to life, then there is something wrong with the way the intellect finds truth.

The purpose of life is far more than Nietzsche's directionless will to power and the nihilistic relativity of his postmodern followers.

There exists a biological teleology

The hopeless relativity of values that is promoted by modern philosophy is untrue and unreal. There exists a biological teleology, a design and purpose in the material world, flowing through all life, which offers freedom but within a determined biological teleology.

I ask why does “life” “live?” Why is life animate rather than inanimate? Why does life have metabolism, growth, reproduction? Why doesn’t life just sit there doing nothing? Why has life persisted time and again in evolving from the simple to the complex under the most extreme conditions?

It is more than an outward action or reaction, there is an inward vitalism working within and shaped by outside evolution. This is the activation of the will to life, and when it is amplified it is seen as the will-to-evolve-toward-Godhood. This process of evolution is activated from within every cell of living bodies, which then react and adapt to the various outside environments that life lives in. This activation is the same activation that leads to the desire to successfully survive and reproduce. And this activation is a material/supermaterial activation, not spiritual.

The goal of evolving to Godhood need not deprive us of either science or religion. When Godhood is seen as a naturalistic and theological goal, the goal of evolution, then biology and theology need not settle for the empty spiritualism that Nietzsche detested. Nature and philosophy can be seen as life materially evolving toward ascending levels of Godhood.
