Solving the age old problem of division and union in America

Our Founders tried to solve the age old problem of division and union in America. They relied on the ideas of people like Aristotle to help solve the differences between rich and poor, etc, but they missed the problems that came later from allowing unlimited and undiscriminating immigration, most likely assuming immigrants would be from Christian northern Europe. 

Hamilton thought open and free economics could help heal the divisions between rich and poor by giving everyone a chance at getting rich, and it was very successful when the culture was homogeneous, but ethnic and racial divisions later followed the unlimited and undiscriminating immigration. And the Founders also missed the social problems that would later come from allowing black slavery for economic purposes. Our inner cities eventually became filled with unassimilated blacks.

What was missing was knowledge of the biological origin of social behavior which came with Darwin, when real human nature could be seem as being genetically kin and ethnic centered, with group selection as the main unit of successful survival and reproduction. 

The decline of America culture and the American people really began to accelerate in the 1960's when several destructive things came together: postmodernism in the academic world, hedonism promoted by the Big Media, modern liberalism on the left, and libertarianism on the right, and of course continuing unlimited and undiscriminating immigration.

For example, white Minnesotan's have turned themselves inside out to accommodate non-whites. Populations of people of color have increased faster in Minnesota than the rest of the nation since 2010. The over  20,000 Somali's in Minneapolis have begun to broadcast the call to prayer over loudspeakers in their neighborhoods. There are more than 66,000 Hmong in Minnesota, the largest concentration of Hmong in America. The assimilation  of Somalis and Hmong has not taken place, and recent riots in Minneapolis have shown us that that the inner city blacks have after many years still not really assimilated.

The first person I read who had the knowledge and the self-sacrificing courage to challenge Spengler's cyclic view of history was Wilmot Robertson in "The Ethnostate.” Robertson suggested that we could halt and reverse the decline of America by transforming the socially destructive aspects of ethnic or racial competition into developing socially constructive ethnostates.  The new (yet old) solution to the division of the nation, which the liberals and cultural Marxists have willing and consciously created with the help of the media and the schools, is to form ethnostates or an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. 

We will probably have to wait for future leaders to pick up what President Trump leaves undone, as he picked up what Ronald Reagan left undone. But we can continue to counter Spengler's prediction of inevitable fall by solving the age old problem of division and union in America by working toward forming an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, legally adapted from our Constitutional separation of powers and states, and then protecting the ethnostates from marauding imperialists, supremacists, and global money grubbers, with a defensive federalism.  

I think the Founders might approve.

We should expand the Tenth Amendment and Constitutional separation of powers and states and give states or regions the right to become ethnostates

Note on ethnostates for the day after tomorrow:

The Tenth Amendment says: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

The Founding Fathers believed that nullification was the "moderate middle ground," and not the road to secession.

We should adapt our Constitutional separation of powers and states to deeper sociobiological knowledge of human nature and give states or regions the right to become ethnostates. If real kin and ethnic-centered human nature is allowed to be what it is, it naturally leads to regionalism, localism, general conservative values, eventually ethnostates, and finally an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, which would need to be protected from marauding imperialists, supremacists, and global money grubbers, with a defensive federalism.

Then we will be legally, culturally, and politically healthy and ready for the coming centuries. Europe could do the same, and China too, otherwise we will have constant internal strife between naturally competing ethnic groups added to the usual external problems between countries.

Why the natural virtues or moral virtues need to include ethnocentrism

When we define the natural virtues as "any moral virtue of which humankind is capable of " I think of the sociobiological definition of human nature as being kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection. While this definition from the evolutionary sciences can synchronize with the moral virtues of prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance, when they are made to be universal in reach they don't synchronize well with the ethnocentric and xenophobic aspect of human nature which created altruism in the first place.

Altruism or being for others was created largely from competing with outside groups which required altruism within groups to be successful against other groups who may have been less altruistic within their group, and so altruistic genes survived---and group selection remains the central unit of selection, as E.O.Wilson has recently affirmed. Christianity and other religions (including Marxism) called for altruism toward everyone, in-group and out-group, which inadvertently destroyed the very dynamic and origin of within-group altruism. This helps explain why two thousand years of Christian altruism toward all has not stopped wars, rather altruism-for-all destroyed the very altruism required to take social action in a group.

When ethnicity, localism, and the nation are taken out of the social process in the interest of abstract universalist or Enlightenment values (modern liberalism and cultural Marxism) then assimilation and altruism are slowly lost, since the deepest, most real, and most workable altruism comes from local, ethnic, and national connections, and not from a universalism which is usually nothing but airy abstractions, and in most cases is used to advance one group over the others by weakening their social bonds.

The natural virtues or moral virtues of which human nature is actually capable of need to include ethnocentrism which is the natural base of altruism. If we really want all people to "just get along with one another" we will allow the world and nations to separate into ethnostates and then protect them all from marauding imperialists, supremacists, and global money grubbers, with a light federalism. Far from being "evil," ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates are the realistic way to bring back real workable altruism and being-for-others.

Defining evolutionary conservatism: Trump has been battling against both the greed and amorality of the globalist capitalist monster and the naively stupid modern liberals

It is true that Western free enterprise capitalism almost miraculously has brought much of the world out of poverty, but now with China we are in the process of seeing whether the globalist capitalist monster which free enterprise capitalism has become can curb their greed and amorality. The global capitalist's became rich with the great Chinese buildup of the dictatorial communist military industrial complex now threatening the West. China is or soon will be a bigger threat to the West than Soviet Russia was; the Chinese, especially the northern Chinese, have high IQ's and their ethics have not been much weakened by decadent Western liberalism.

President Trump has been battling against both the greed and amorality of the globalist capitalist monster and the naively stupid modern liberals. Trump is trying to restore the original economic nationalism of free enterprise capitalism, which ironically was used by China in its rise to power, but which China is now turning into the same globalist capitalist monster that destroyed the West---even high IQ's can be seduced by amoral greed.

But the standard Burkian/Kirkian paleoconservatism, though far superior to globalist neoconservatism, is not enough to save the West from the globalist capitalist monster or the Chinese military industrial complex. If the purpose of a conservative statesman and politician is to be prudent and to keep the peace then---given kin and ethnic-centered human nature---we will eventually need to return to the realism of regionalism, localism, and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, protected from marauding imperialists and supremacists by some sort of federalism and economic nationalism. This necessary change, which can come from adapting the U. S. constitutional separation of powers and states to an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, defines evolutionary conservatism. And China would do well to do the same thing.

The conservatives, the natural preservers, are not yet addressing this real problem, or this solution (from 2015)

Individual, kin and group (or ethnic) selection could be called the primary-selection-trio. Libertarian conservatives are willing to make sacred the individual, and paleoconservatives or traditional conservatives are willing to make the kin sacred, but both say little or nothing about group or ethnic selection, and this is a serious omission directly relating to the future of America and the West.

According to the more courageous sociobiological and anthropological scientists and thinkers, group-selection is the central unit of selection. Only group or ethnic selection can be socially strong enough over the long term to actually protect and advance the individual and the kin.

The natural problems of competing groups within a multi-ethnic nation can be managed by affirming ethnopluralism, with regions and states primarily understood as ethnostates, which can then be protected internally and externally by a lighter version of federalism.

Establishing ethnopluralism within the United States is of course a daunting mission---charges of racism by the powers that be will destroy reputations---but the separation of powers and states in the U. S. Constitution could accommodate the natural political configuration of ethnostates, so even the conservatives could affirm it, if it was done gradually, and legally.

Ethnopluralism working in harmony with the primary-selection-trio works in harmony with real human nature, which remains very much individual, kin and ethnic-centered. Empires always fall back into ethnostates, so natural human history and evolution are on the side of ethnopluralism.

Otherwise America (and the West) seems headed for civil disturbances and even civil war between un-meltable ethnic cultures, which will weaken the nation internationally.  The conservatives, the natural preservers, are not yet addressing this real problem, or this solution, and the modern liberals remain unrealistic about human nature and politics.

The identity crisis is over and it's politically incorrect

When America accepted multiculturalism related to ignorant and malevolent immigration policies it set up an identity crisis in America, which was also seen across the Western world, especially since the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 which abolished the National Origins Formula, and removed discrimination against non-Northwestern European ethnic groups.

Then began the identity movements, the “me” movements of the hedonistc 1960's, the women's movement, etc. and finally the ethnic identity movement of today which, although politically incorrect, has finally solved the identity crisis in the West brought on by the ignorant and malevolent immigration policies of multiculturalism.

In spite of the big media and the schools being strongly against it, somehow the ethnic identity movement arrived at the social behavior that harmonizes with real human nature, which both tradition (more or less) and the Neo-Darwinist science of sociobiology define as being kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection.

And wouldn't you know it, the ethnic identity movement, which solved the identity crisis, is considered politically incorrect by both liberals and conservatives. Belief in the universalism of equality before God on the right and belief in the universalism of equality before man on the left seems to be the sticking point against the ethnic identity movement, encouraged by those with decidedly unequal wills to power in the Big Media and the schools.

The ethnic identity movement does not affirm the racial supremacism of the old racial nationalism but affirms an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, which is the realistic way of thinking about universalism or equality. For example, an ethnopluralism of ethnostates or regions could be established legally in the United States with our constitutional separation of powers and states, and protected by federalism.

In any case the identity crisis is over, and it's politically incorrect.

Why I celebrate this country on the Fourth of July

I celebrate this country on the the Fourth of July, including the military, which helped the United States become independent from England. This does not mean that we have no flaws but I think the flaws can be conservatively fixed without radically destroying everything else in the process---and I take “fixing” the country to places where most conservatives don't go. I think of changes as mirroring natural evolution, building on what we have, retaining the best of the past while advancing the best of the new for the future.

Americans like to customize everything, to build or alter according to individual specifications, creativity usually works that way, mirroring evolution. And that is good, as long as American individualism doesn't hypertrophy into rejecting the survival of the group, because group-selection remains the primary unit of selection.

Altruism in real human nature is mainly local and group-centered, as sociobiology has affirmed, and not universally very workable. People naturally love their kin and their group, their ethnic cultures, and beyond that bonding becomes increasingly difficult. 

Customizing or adjusting the Constitutional separation of the powers and states to an ethnopluralism of ethnostates seems radical, but it remains conservative because it retains the Roman law and English precedence that our Founders customized or adapted for America. Ethnostates can bring our increasingly diverse culture, which is naturally not getting along well together, back to real and workable human nature.

French and Russian intellectuals, and their subordinates in Western academia, have been attacking the West for some time now, blaming the West for the modernity that in fact brought material comfort and prosperity, the rule of law, freedom, etc, to large groups of people. The intellectuals are right in attacking inflated individual greed and the marauding crony capitalism of the West, but these are negative deviations of the natural free enterprise system and should not alone lead to condemning the whole of the West and modernity, or the people of the West.

Modern liberalism has unsuccessfully tried to rid human beings of being human and what to do about it

The emphasis of modern liberalism on the sameness, equality, etc. of ethnic groups or races has had little effect on making them the same or equal. Without judging the superiority or inferiority of either, the differences between matriarchal blacks in the U. S. and patriarchal whites is starkly different, almost like being from different planets, and that is only one example of the differences in culture and personality, all of which are mainly the result of the biological and genetic origin of our social behavior, which modern liberalism refuses to acknowledge. Various levels of differences apply to all ethnic groups and racial groups whose different traits and personalities were developed or evolved in distinctly different environments.

When ethnic groups didn't melt together and become happy liberals the liberals came up with the concept of “multiculturalism.” But that hasn't led to order, harmony, or equal respect between the races but to even more ethnocentrism, and increasing suicidal traits. Why hasn't multiculturalism worked? Because the differences between ethnic groups and racial groups in personalty and culture are mainly the result of the deep biological and genetic origin of our social behavior; we are not only different but we are competitive in seeking the survival and reproduction of our own genetic traits.

So again, without judging the superiority or inferiority of ethnic groups or races, it is time to try a common sense solution to the unofficial civil war raging between ethnic groups or races, in spite of religion, science, capitalism, socialism, libertarianism, multiculturalism, etc etc. Human nature IS ethnocentric and has been since humans became humans. Group-selection was the best or only way for individuals to successfully survive, so altruism, or being for others, was naturally limited to kin and ethnic groups and not much beyond that because they share the same genes which strive for survival and reproductive success. Trying to rid human nature and culture of the deep-seated preference for kin and ethnic group is like trying to rid human beings of being human. That is inhumane and cruel.

Reality points toward the political/cultural solution of ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. It is a conservative transformation---not revolution---which can bring about the sociopolitical or political/cultural structure most in harmony with real human nature. An ethnopluralism of ethnostates or regions could be established legally in the United States with our constitutional separation of powers and states, and protected from the inevitable marauders by federalism.

Without judging the superiority or inferiority of any ethnic group, we need to optimize, not block, the gene expression we inherited from our ancient human ancestors, not only in what we eat (eg. paleo diet) and how we exercise, but in which cultures and political systems we create. This is what truly bolsters our physical and mental health. We have gotten far away from the real human nature we inherited from our ancestors and we need to get back to a healthy expression of who we are. The biological origin of our social behavior actually ends the intellectual defense of postmodern relativism, equality, and multiculturalism.

Dreams of assimilation don't take into account the biological origin of social behavior

Both Kirkian conservatives and modern liberals made the tragic political mistake in assuming, hoping really, that assimilation would take place between the distinctly different ethnic groups who were allowed to immigrate into America, based on the idea that culture, the British culture, is the main feature of the nation, and the faulty idea that the ethnicity of America is secondary. Later liberals developed the idea of having one multicultural multi-ethnic society where all would supposedly get along well together without all assimilating into one British culture and without all speaking English, as the Kirkian's insisted we do.

The problem with both political approaches is they don't take into account the biological origin of social behavior or that ethnic groups are made up of distinctive genes and genetic pools which develop distinctive cultures to advance those distinctive ethnic genetic pools. In reality it is a zero sum game where the gain of one ethnic group is offset by the loss of another ethnic group; they do not assimilate unless they are close ethnic cousins, even if there is some assimilation from interbreeding around the edges.

Blacks have been in America for several hundred years (forced here in slavery) and billions of dollars continue to be spent helping them assimilate without much success, although some of the lack of success comes from natural resentment at being enslaved. The advent of multicultural multi-ethnic societies only increased and affirmed non-assimilation. Millions of Hispanics too have naturally insisted on keeping their language and culture because ethnic groups are made up of distinctive genes and genetic pools which develop distinctive cultures to advance those distinctive ethnic genetic pools.

The last hope for those who want the whole world to assimilate into one group is to declare that interbreeding will make the whole world coffee-colored where we all get along. But that is not how the world works. Ethnic groups develop distinctive cultures to advance distinctive genetic pools in what becomes mainly a zero sum game of competition and survival.

Better to realize at last that the best way to deal with our deep-seated differences and our  ignorant immigration policies is to affirm a reinvigoration of the Constitutional separation of powers and states, this time in harmony with the growing variety of ethnic groups in America with different genetic pools and different agendas who could develop an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, in harmony with real human nature... But these vital changes need to be done legally, constitutional, and not by radical revolutionary means which almost never work and cause great biological and cultural harm.

Balancing the natural tensions between group-selection and individual-selection

The principle of "duty before love" seems to have been more a royal, aristocratic, or leadership principle. I've thought about it from the perspective of group-selection and individual-selection.

Sociobiologist E.O. Wilson has found that there is a co-evolution between group-selection and individual-selection with group-selection paramount in successful human survival and reproduction. It's the balancing between these two that causes the natural tension: “Individual versus group selection results in a mix of altruism and selfishness, of virtue and sin, among the members of a society.” And so, morals and virtues developed.

This behavior seems to have evolved classes and hierarchies, which Georges Dumezil described as tripartite or trifunctional: priests, warriors, and commoners (farmers, tradesmen) corresponding to the three functions of the sacral, martial, and economic---at least among Indo-European's, who developed Western civilization.

From this perspective the king, priest and warrior, or leadership, would tend to put duty before love and favor group-selection, the producer's would favor individual selection but lean toward group-selection, and the commoner's would tend toward individual-selection.

That whole hierarchical class structure allowed for both duty and love. I suppose the royals got around it by living and marrying for duty but then taking on lovers. Effective warriors would need to be more strict about telling the truth. And commoners would get on with having babies. In ethnically homogeneous societies the natural tensions between group-selection and individual-selection would that way balance out.

This may be why totalitarian leaders who try to be all things don't last long, and why communist systems trying to do away with class structures don't work---it takes a whole ethnically homogeneous class structure (although not necessarily monarchies) for successful survival and reproduction over the long term.

The biological or genetic origin of social behavior needs to be declared

The Big Media, Hollywood, the public schools, and corrupt politicians will allow us to talk of high or low culture in terms of improvement of the mind, or the living standard of the people, but they will not allow us to define culture as the bonding together of people who share the same gene pool and ethnicity, they will not allow any talk of the biological or genetic origin of our social behavior.

When World War Two ended 75 years ago it also ended all discussion of the biological origin of social behavior, due mainly to the racial supremacism of the losing side. But the Big Media, Hollywood, the public schools, and corrupt politicians threw the biological baby out with the supremacist bath water. They say not that it is too early to talk about it but that the biological or genetic origin of social behavior should never again be mentioned!

Human nature has been affirmed throughout human history to this day as being basically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection. Cultures can operate for a time with behavior that goes against this human nature, with such experiments as Marxism and fascism but cultures are eventually pulled back by the biological and genetic leash of real human nature to cultures that better reflect real human nature, and humans then work within and adapt to the environments they find themselves living in.

In our crowded world real kin and ethnic-centered human nature negates supremacism, imperialism, and globalism as unworkable over the long term, but human nature does not negate decentralization toward an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, in harmony with the growing variety of ethnic groups with different genetic pools and different agendas. With the Constitutional separation of powers and states we can develop an ethnopluralism of ethnostates and regions, protected from marauding imperialists by a light federalism.

Contrary to the Big Media, Hollywood, the public schools, and corrupt politicians who demand that we never again mention the biological or genetic origin of social behavior, it needs to be declared and grow into a renewal of civilization.

Can we surpass the political philosophy of the ancients?

Can we surpass the political philosophy of the ancients? I don't see why not, as long as we realize that we are standing on their shoulders.

When the Founders of America created the constitutional separation of powers and states they did not think we would become a multicultural multi-ethnic state, they assumed we would remain ethnically and culturally Northern European. If they had known the future they might have provided for ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates.

They also didn't have Darwin and his grand evolutionary worldview, or the sociobiological discoveries of the biological origin of social behavior.

To accommodate the kin and ethnic-centered heart of basic human nature we can affirm a re-invigoration of federalism, this time in harmony with the growing variety of competing ethnic groups in America with different genetic pools and different agendas. Federalism and the Constitutional separation of powers and states can develop an ethnopluralism of ethnostates.

But this needs to be develop legally, not with civil war, or even with secessions, which could endanger the federal protection needed for all ethnostates in a world that continues to have marauding nations with imperial ambitions.

With only a few amendments we would still be conservatively standing on the shoulders of the Founders, and we would have a more assured future.

Ethnostates as the default social force in world history

In his excellent journal "Chronicles" (Feb 2019) Chilton Williamson suggests that populism is more or less the default social force in world history, from the right or the left, which rises against dominant classes that have taken over and who disfavor the normal natural behavior of the classes below them. I think of the default social force as the return of real human nature rising again and projecting its traits on our social behavior and cultures.

What are the traits of human nature which always rise and influence the shape of our cultures? You hear it here often, human nature is basically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, territorial, and even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection. Cultures can operate for a time with behavior that goes against this human nature, with such experiments as Marxism, but cultures are eventually pulled back by the biological and genetic leash of real human nature to cultures that better reflect real human nature, and humans then work within and adapt to the environments they find themselves living in.

We could think of human nature as the structure upon which cultures, governments, etc. rise as a superstructure. The superstructure then becomes so gross and oversized (think empires) that it falls apart. But the foundation structure grounded in real human nature remains intact because even the smallest change in human nature and our DNA structure, for example, in our immune system, takes hundreds of thousands of years to change (although now we have genetic engineering which may be more rapid),

I think a clear-eyed and courageous view of human nature and the biological origin of our social behavior suggests that the default social force, driven by real human nature, is a return to ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. In the U. S. that could work in sync with federalism and the Constitutional separation of powers and states. This return to ethnostates would best be done legally, constitutional, and not by radical or revolutionary means which almost never work and cause great biological and cultural disruptions and convulsions.

Universal conservatism

Conservatives are right to say that conservatism is not really universal or infallible, like the communist manifesto, and that the U.S. Constitution is not exportable, and yet they will sometimes admit, as Russell Kirk did, that there is a "universal conservatism" which is the "impulse" or "yearning" among all people to conserve their culture, history and race. But at the root of universal conservatism, or deep-conservatism as I call it, is the activation to conserve the gene pool of kin, ethnic group, and race and the cultures they develop. Even "order," which is so important to Burke and Kirk, is put in place because orderly societies are more successful in survival and reproduction than disorderly societies.

Human nature evolved to prefer kin, ethnic group, and race because those traits were more successful in survival and reproduction for individuals and groups. Even altruism, being for others, was created as the preference for kin and ethnic group and weakens as we move out toward universalism, which is the main reason why communism and globalism don't work well and tend to use force to impose unnatural altruism.

Universal conservatism or deep-conservatism instinctively and reasonably calls for ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. That is where the impulses and yearnings of human nature are most naturally directed---it could even be accomplished in an orderly and conservative way. In the U.S. with the growing variety of ethnic groups, each with different genetic pools and different agendas, we could with our Constitutional separation of powers and states legally and gradually develop an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, protected by federalism. That would affirm a true universal conservatism or deep-conservatism in harmony with what we actually are.

The exploitation of altruistic-empathy is killing us

It's ironic that modern liberals who deny any genetic bases to our social behavior are applying a hypertrophied version of the genetically-derived trait of altruistic-empathy in their multiculturalism or multi-racialism.

Northern Europeans seem prone to this fatal flaw which seems to have developed from what was originally a genetically-derived survival tactic in the harsh climate of the North. The Northern Chinese and Japanese seem free of this hypertrophied suicidal cuckoldry perhaps because the climate they were evolved in was much harsher and more unforgiving than the more moderate climate of, say, Scandinavia.

Scandinavian's seem especially suicidal in opening their borders and their societies to "multiculturalism" or multi-racialism, which has been quickly destroying them in an epidemic of rape, murder and social chaos---the Swedes only smile at this tragedy and make it a crime to object to the suicide.

It has also been absolute evil genius on the part of those in the media and the schools who exploited this white altruistic-empathy in their films, television, and books---they must think we are total fools.

The trait of altruistic-empathy was evolved to successfully advance the genes of kin and ethnic group who shared the same genes, it was not evolved to advance multiculturalism or multi-racialism. We see the tragic consequences of this great mistake/exploitation in the biological and cultural destruction of the Western world now taking place...

The only way I can see back to biological, psychological, cultural, and social health is to return to natural ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, in harmony with real human nature. Will our fatal flaw kill us before we recover? We also evolved from warrior cultures that did not give up easily.

The big problem is that the lefty-hedonists do not connect their morality to the biological origin of our social behavior

Bob Dylan had a sort of genius for creating songs that stick in your head and he now still represents to me many of our hippie-lefty-scruffy-slightly-stoned youth, but he also embodies many of the baby boomers who still get weepy (and stoned) about leftist causes, at least on weekends.

Dylan morphed from a Jewish boy born and raised in northern Minnesota to a rather weird-looking, southern-drawling, blues man, complete with gravely voice probably brought on by heavy drug use.

Weed is supposed to be so mild but I have seen the heavy use of weed change the personalities of people, change the way their voice sounds, and the way their mind works, apparently permanently.

But beyond that serious problem it is the idiotic leftist/hedonistic philosophy of Dylan, shared by sanctimonious people like the Clinton's and the Obama's, and all the lefties in the Media, as well as the lefty baby boomers, which has caused the most damage to American culture.

The big problem is that the lefty-hedonists do not connect their morality to the biological origin of our social behavior---they even declare that such a connection is racist and bigoted. Dylan has created many dopey songs about it. And the pedantic professors who taught most of them this culturally Marxist politically correct garbage are busy doing the same thing to the next generation.

Real human nature remains kin and ethnic-centered, and even xenophobic, but real human nature has been blocked by these decadent lefties, which is mainly what has brought American culture and the West into steep decline. So the natural and biologically-derived movement toward populism, conservatism, nationalism, and even ethnostatism now must struggle against these established idiots to save the West.

Mutuality rather than submission

"Mutuality" rather than "submission" is the key idea in adapting the constitutional separation of powers and states to an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, protected by some kind of federalism. That is the political and cultural adaptation to manage the no-longer homogeneous (and growing more so) American population, and it has the great advantage of harmonizing with real human nature, which remains kin and ethnic centered in spite of great social and cultural efforts to wipe it out. Egalitarian multiculturalism has been imposed by those who gain temporary power from trying to jam distinctly different people and cultures into the same living space when for the most part they don't assimilate. Seeing and presenting an ethnopluralism of ethnostates as mutuality rather than submission is not only true but a better way to present it. The imperial supremacy of one-people-one-culture in our crowded world simply does not qualify, is unethical, and is bad for the variety preferred in ongoing evolution.

This corruption of democracy

In the midterm election Beto O’Rourke and Andrew Gillum were defeated, Stacey Abrams was also defeated but so far has not conceded, claiming corruption on the part of her opponent, and Gillum hasn't fully conceded either. That is not the way democracy is supposed to work.

As politically incorrect as it is to say, democracy now does not function well in the U. S. largely do to the U.S. being a multicultural-multi-ethnic society derived from both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, meaning that people are not the same and not at all "equal" in the ways that they operate within a democracy.  It seems that the Northern Hemisphere was able to make democracy work, at least for a time, but not so much the Southern Hemisphere.

But hemisphere's don't rule, people do, and not all people are the same, which means that not all people are equal. For democracy to function fairly, equality must be present in the individual vote, and also, as Socrates said, perhaps only those who had thought about issues rationally and deeply should be let near a vote.

The ancient Greeks feared above all that democracy turns into demagoguery, gaining power and popularity by arousing the emotions, passions, and prejudices of the people, and demagoguery, aided by the Big Media, is what democracy has turned into in the U. S.

This corruption of democracy only underlines what I say here all the time, to save the U.S. we will eventually need to create an ethnopluralism of ethnostates adapted from the existing Constitutional separation of powers and states. Then people can be what they are, emotionally or rationally, in their own ethnostates and regions, protected by a light federalism.

The establishment, rising populism, and where to go from here

The establishment or elite in the U. S. consists of Congress, the Judiciary, the Civil Service, Academia, the Big Media, etc. but holding power over the elite are the Global Corporations and their lobbies. The greatest influence dealers in Washington are the Wall Street lobby, the fossil fuel lobby, and the Israeli and Saudi lobbyists, who often pay off and threaten corrupt government officials and representatives to get them to take actions that are completely against the interests of our nation. Populism has been rising in America and in Europe to oppose this corrupt elite who have become so arrogant in their power that they no longer even try to help or advance the people.

Within this configuration of differences is the ethnic and racial competition which the elite do not allow to be named, they have deemed it politically incorrect to even mention it. But the biological origin of social behavior is the real driver of both the elite and the populists. The real task is to find a realistic way to accommodate these competing forces that doesn't involve civil war.

The rising populism must not become a communist dictatorship on the left or a fascist dictatorship on the right as it sometimes appears to be doing; the time of having only one imperial power and only one noble or chosen people has past, we are too crowded and ethnically diverse for that to work. Decentralization in general is the way to simplify the cultural swamp, and in particular, developing an ethnopluralism of ethnostates from out if our only nominal constitutional separation of powers and states.

Human nature remains the same. Even the smallest change in our DNA structure, for example, in our immune system, took hundreds of thousands of years (now we have genetic engineering which may be more rapid), but we all remain kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection followed by individual selection. Rational, instinctive and humane channeling of human nature and human drives, and education in general, need to move in the direction of developing an ethnopluralism of ethnostates---we want to avoid going there chaotically and violently as we have often done in human history when empires fall.

The natural sequence of genetic altruistic priorities in real human nature

This is the gradation or hierarchy of altruism, from the strongest to the weakest interest in being-for-others : individual, kin, ethnic group, region, state, nation, world, universe, all driven by the biological activation of life to survival and reproductive success, but also driven by the biological activation within life to evolve toward Godhood that must work along with the ups and downs of natural outside evolution. That is the natural sequence of the genetic priorities of real human nature in theological materialism.

When political philosophy synchronizes with this biological origin of our social behavior then we can have the variety and independence of decentralized regions and states or ethnostates with light federal systems protecting all.

When this philosophy is bonded in a religion dedicated to life materially evolving to supermaterial Godhood then we will be approaching a whole, complete, long-lasting, and modern worldview.

But human beings tend to be more a scheming, power-seeking, species than a wise species and long-term religions and philosophies are often blocked or overturned by short-term selfish people, so, of course, work and persistence are needed to bring the natural sequence of genetic altruistic priorities forward out of the various blockades against it.
