Man's nature in relation to government and religion

The source of “rights” is man's nature, but how is human nature defined?

I define human nature as sociobiology defines human nature, along with how the Evolutionary Christian Church defines human nature. We are alive to survive and reproduce successfully, and our cultures reflect this purpose. And we are alive due to the activation of life by the Spirit-Within, or the Will To Godhood, which works in conjunction with evolution. This whole production and operation of life is evolving toward Godhood in nature, which is the activating goal of the Spirit.

This is how I synthesize religion and science (eg. sociobiology). Religious and political rights don't destroy economic rights, they harmonize economic rights with political and religious rights. And the independent individual is not the sole concern of human rights because natural selection primarily takes place at the group level and secondarily at the individual level. These are the rights of man and God and the conditions required for man to survive, prosper and reach man's ultimate goal of Godhood. Unlike Marxism or libertarian Capitalism, I do not define only economic rights.

Rather than create a totalitarian system to demand these rights through force, I affirm freedom, a representative form of government, with small states having the most power and the federal government charged primarily with protecting the freedom of the states. Within this structure (the original U. S. Constitution is an excellent example) evolution can take place, guided by the Church.

Liberation from the liberation

Ramakrishna said “Bondage and liberation are of the mind alone. It is all a question of the mind.”

Indeed, this is the Great Spiritual Blockade of the East and the West, which is necessary to see or experience the God Within. This is the goal of the Involutionary Inward Path, this is the only real goal of the Revealed Religions. But it is not enough.

We affirm the Twofold Path. We must evolve to Godhood through the material and supermaterial world, and this Godhood does not exist in the mind alone, be it a liberated or unliberated mind. The Evolutionary Outward Path is the path to Godhood, which is a real, epiphenomenal, Supreme Object, or Objects, and not only a principle or divine nothingness.

The Theology of the Future

Life, real life, material life, has always threatened to neutralize Christianity, as it did other religions, only the traditional fundamentalists seem to hold on. Religious people bemoan this and are forever trying to pull people away from the material world.

The process of elaborate intellectual rationalization took place, trying to save religion, but it was really attempting to deal with the old duality between the spiritual and the material. How do you manage real life, marriage, birth, competition, when the great religious leaders like Christ and Buddha tell you to repudiate the world, but then complicate things by telling you to love or show compassion for the poor world enslaved with material desires?

The problem is always with the duality, and the Great Spiritual Blockade against the material world. Only identification with the God Within was endlessly defined, only the Involutionary Inward Path was allowed. And no matter how elaborate and even beautiful were the attempts to harmonize the rejection of the material world (St Thomas Aquinas was beautiful in this way), the powerful call of material life and the neutralization of religion could not be stopped.

The mission and message of the Evolutionary Christian Church is that the sacred path of material life seeks to evolve to Godhood, the Godhood first seen or identified with in the Inward Path of the Revealed Religions. This sacred path not only closes the spiritual/material duality, it stops the neutralization of religion. Our central point is that while we think the Latin and Sanskrit establishment is holding captive religion, and the people, we do not reject the Involuntary Inward Path of the religious establishment. We seek to add the Evolutionary Outward Path in our Twofold Path to the Real Godhood we all seek.

The theology of the future will need to express the sacred power of the evolution of the material world to Godhood, along with the ancient identification with the God Within. This is Revitalized Conservatism, not revolution.

Rights and Evolution

Libertarians emphasize the concept of individual rights, I emphasize the concept of small states rights within which the individual dwells. My view is based in the idea of group selection being primary and individual selection secondary in the long scheme of evolution ( Rushton essay on group selection here). This subject has been debated with paranoia shown against group rights.

Conservatives tend to emphasize group rights, along with individual rights (essay here and here) libertarians uphold only individual rights. Group selection is considered a "collectivist tyranny" by people like Ayn Rand. The recent disastrous financial meltdown was based mainly on selfish laissez faire capitalists with no concern for group rights, although no doubt they worked in raiding groups.

Rights are moral principles but based in natural principles. Group selection and altruism are an important natural principle in evolution, along with individual selection. To deny group selection is to deny human nature.

I affirm evolutionary rights, the natural right of all groups and individuals to evolve to Godhood as best they can. This is a theological as well as a natural right. The right to evolve stands at the top of the rights. We exist primarily to evolve to Godhood.

We like the United States Constitution more for its defense of small states, variety and competition, and not merely for its defense of individual rights.

Laws of man, nature, and religion

Philosophers have rightly said that the laws of nature supersede all human laws. Evolution is the primary law of nature, yet even evolution is superseded by the Spirit-Within nature (although the Spirit is essentially also a law of nature.) The Spirit is the Will to Godhood which helps activate nature. This is why the laws of man must try to harmonize with the laws of evolution, and with the activation of the Spirit within nature, which seeks to evolve to Godhood in the Kosmos.

Which human laws best reflect the laws of nature? I think the United States Constitution comes close. Here we have the sanctity of local-rule, the few and specific duties of the federal government, and the many and vague duties of the states. Here evolution can flourish. But we have largely rescinded most of the laws which declared independence from state-controlled thinking. These laws need to be un-rescinded so that we may continue to evolve with variety and freedom.

We can only accommodate the changing demographics of the nation and the world if we hold fast to the rights and independence of the states and of local rule. Otherwise the always changing demographics may vote the laws and the Constitution out of existence, and the freedom to evolve will be lost.

Udvikaasa: The Western Yoga

Beyond Liberation Theology

The Evolutionary Christian Church affirms the idea that human history has religious, historical and material dimensions. We do not exclusively follow the Involutionary Inward Path of identification with the God-Within, liberating only the individual. But in addition, true liberation does not only take up the cause of the exploited classes, we also take up the cause of meritocracy and evolution, since we evolve to Godhood beyond the human and beyond the earth.

To the Eastern-derived three paths of the Involutionary Inward Path: karma (ritual action), bhakt (devotion to personal god), and jnana (gnosis), I add a fourth path, applying the Sanskrit word udvikaasa (evolution), which is the Western “yoga” of the Evolutionary Outward Path. Karma yoga, the yoga of action, remains an Inward Path discipline, the action it takes relates to the same ultimate rejection of the material world as bhakt and jnana yoga as well as the liberation theology of the West.

Synthesizing religious and political ethics

Evolution as the basis for ethics in Evolutioary Catholicism brings together or synthesizes the religious and social basis for ethics of the past. Individual rights, group rights and divine rights are combined in the right of evolution to Godhood for all people.

This basis for ethics conforms to nature and human nature. The good is basically that which advances evolution to Godhood.

Man is not an end in himself, as libertarians tend to think, and society is not an end in itself , as socialists tend to think, and single races are not an end in themselves, as racial nationalists tend to think. All life is seeking to evolve to Godhood, and that is the natural right of all men.

What best accommodates these religious and political ethics? Evolution works best in free societies that allow variety and natural competition, with separate and virtually independent states, as was called for in the original United States Constitution. The primary job of government is to protect these freedoms.

The Continuum

Not only don't I separate theology from philosophy, I don't separate either of these from biology.

The problem for theologians down through the ages has been to reconcile their insistence that the Spiritual is not the Material and has no elements of the material in it. This caused the great separation of theology from material science.

When we see the epiphenomenal and supermaterial qualities of the Supreme Object Godhood, then we don't cling to the separation the material from the spiritual. Godhood is the zenith of material evolution.

Godhood is the embodiment of Absolute Beauty, Truth and Goodness, not an idealized embodiment, not merely a Logos, definition, or principle, Godhood is the attainment in evolution of the actual embodiment of these great things.

Evola's Two Traditions Are Really One

What Evola and others call “the transmission (traditio) from generation to generation of a 'presence' of 'transcendent' nature, just as a flame lights another flame,” where... “a chain of individuals becomes the mediator of a continuity of contact with metaphysical reality and a non-human force”--- this is, in the Outward Path, accomplished through successful reproduction and survival, that is, not through the Traditional metaphysical identity but through sacred upward evolution from the material to the supermaterial to Godhood. The “flame” is the egg and the sperm bringing the Spirit to the next generation. The occult element in this Outward Path would be knowledge of the sacred path of evolution to Absolute Beauty, Absolute Truth and Absolute Goodness. Religious activities in the Outward Path become organized around this goal, whereas the Inward Path follows more the Traditional metaphysical “identity.”

When Evola speaks of Two Traditions, action and contemplation, he is really speaking of the same Inward Path, the same Being can be reached either by means of Action or by means of Contemplative Knowledge. The Being is the Being of the Inward Path, which is identifying with God. One needs another Path to “Become” God, to evolve to Godhood, and that is the Outward Path, which is not at all the same as the Action path of Evola which leads to the same identification with God as the Contemplative path. The Outward Path is the Path of material and supermaterial evolution to Godhood.

The Evolutionary Christian Church does not need to destroy the premise of any tradition or lose contact with metaphysics, the God “identified with” in the Inward Path is the God “attained” in the Outward Path of evolution. We seek to restore the West, which has reacted against religion, by bringing the very Western concept of Evolution into Tradition, with the Twofold Path.

It's more about states rights or individual rights than about civil rights

Rand Paul's recent comment on civil rights, which has caused a feeding frenzy in the media, was really more about states rights or individual rights than about civil rights. “Individualism” is the error of the libertarians, since group selection is the primary selection category, but that is for another essay.

The reaction to Rand shows that the media is going to once again kick the can of ethnic relationships down the street. The media can avoid the subject, as they were taught to do in our nations schools and colleges (and through pressure from lobbys) but this subject will not go away.

In the future the protection of states rights may be the only way to hold together fractured ethnic conclaves. The media will probably prefer totalitarian methods attempting to force states and ethnic cultures to conform to government edicts, demanding that we are all the same and that we must all be one equal conglomerate, but it won't work. Denying states and ethnic cultures their legitimate autonomy never works in the long run.

Pat Buchanan and others have been warning us that the drive to ethnic independence has brought down every empire. States rights protected with a light federalism, as in the original Constitution, can hold America together, without revolution.

We need not split into hostile ethnostates

Once America was one people descended from the same ancestry, same language, same religion, and believing in the same principles of government. Now we are split into virtually sovereign, competing ethnic groups.

But our Constitution was and is so durable that it can accommodate this change, it allows the virtual independence of the states, held together with a light federalism, which protects the freedom of those states as a central purpose.

This is why I say we need not split into alien and hostile ethnostates. When followed in its original form our Constitution can accommodate these changes. Let each state and region have the ethnic mix it desires, each state certainly should not be the same as every other state. Variety is healthy, within a light, freedom- protecting federalism.

Politics and nations do change but our Constitution looks almost infallible in being able to handle the changes. Ordered evolution is the motto for our Revitalized Conservatism.

From mono-racial to plural-racial

I am from time to time accused of being racist. This is mostly based on a time in the past when I mainly promoted Northern Europeans in my own quarterlies, and in writing for journals like “Instauration.” No doubt I occasionally criticized other races, although I always saw that all races had the right to promote themselves based on deep seated human nature, more recently affirmed by studies in sociobiology. In the past I affirmed what I now define as imperial racism, only one race, now I affirm the religious right of all races to evolve in their own way.

Liberalism has still not affirmed this aspect of human nature, they usually condemn racialism while exclusively promoting underclass races, or they escape the facts of human nature and promote only relativistic individualism. And racialists from all ethnic groups have for the most part not affirmed the right of all ethnic groups to promote themselves, they remain what I call mono-racialists or imperialistic-racialists. The question becomes, does preserving ones group mean that one needs to persecute other ethnic groups? In doing just that mono-racialism and imperialistic-racialism tend to favor nondemocratic forms of government.

Gradually I came to see---related to the growth of my religious philosophy---that coordinating and balancing the survival and evolutionary imperatives of different ethnic groups was the great task, and for this, a representative form of government, as seen in the original United States Constitution, giving great power to regions and states within a light federal union, works best. I reaffirmed what I call Revitalized-Conservatism, promoting both order and evolution.

I think this needed to be made clear now as the Evolutionary Christian Church begins to grow.

Praxis And The Call To Development

The Eastern “union of non-dualism” is the goal of the Involutionary Inward Path, which the Western Christians define as “communion with God.” This I define as identification with God. I would use the Greek word “Praxis” here to indicate the integration or synthesis of Identification (union or communion) with God, and Evolution, which formerly could be seen in the theological paths of “action” and “contemplation.” The Evolutionary Outward Path is the path of action or evolution and the Involutionary Inward Path is the path of reflection or identification. Identification with God is not the attainment of Godhood.

Let us have the inward identification with God, but let us see this as preliminary to our Kosmic evolution to Godhood. This is the Twofold Path of the new Praxis in the Theoevolutionary Church. The world was originally created by God but the world also belongs to us since our main charge, our main goal, is to evolve materially and supermaterially to Godhood. There is a time to sit back detached from the world identifying with God, and a time to evolve to Godhood.

God gave us the Spirit Within, which is defined as the Will To Godhood in the Evolutionary Christian Church, and the Spirit activates us, in conjunction with natural evolution, to evolve to Godhood. We believe that the Theoevolutionary Church is therefore called to develop empowered by the Holy Spirit.

The Preliminary Inward Path

Various religious texts say “Do not be weak. Do not become attached to this world.” This is speaking exclusively of the truth of the Involutionary Inward Path, and this Path necessarily blocks the Outward Path.

It also takes another kind of strength to travel the Evolutionary Outward Path of material-supermaterial evolution, and here it can be seen as weakness to retire from the world.

Both strengths, both Paths, work together in the original Twofold Path of the Evolutionary Christian Church. Our task is to open up the Great Blockade of the Inward Path with the Outward Path, without killing the Inward Path to identification with God.

Identification with God in the Inward Path must be seen then as preliminary to becoming Gods in the Outward Path, many ages from now.

Taking Back What Was Stolen

The American businesses which actually seek illegal aliens for their cheap labor are part of the globalist mentality. Free Trade has uplifted capitalists, many of whom originally did not have stable American businesses, who sought to get rich by uplifting foreign business, which has caused the bankrupting of American small businesses. This may not be treasonous but it is close.

We are allowing the media to manipulate the healthy attempt to police our borders, which is only self-preservation, to be portrayed as “persecution” of illegals. The Constitution has been tortured in its clauses to fit what the socialist and global capitalists want it to mean. How do we recover our Constitution and our nation ?

Through grass roots groups not unlike the Tea Party movement, although they seem to be somewhat exploited now by a globalist military and business agenda. The Constitution Party is another group that at least questions "Free Trade." We need to restore the Constitution of the Founders. It is a great document allowing freedom for true human nature to flourish in virtually independent states within the light protective structure of federalism. I see no better action to take then this.

The Revitalization

The degree of ecumenism advocated

I believe that the sacred works of the Revealed Religions can be a part of the Bible. Why? All are based in the Involutionary Inward Path of serene identification with the God-Within.

For example, to apply Brahmabandhav's comparison of Christianity and Vedanta, A. The Thomistic God of pure being is like the Vedantic absolute, the Brahma---In the Theoevolutionary Church (TC) this is identification only of the God within the human Soul within the human being. B. God the Son, the Logos, is like Cit—thought, awareness---InTC the Logos is purely principle and definition, with no body or being. C. The Holy Spirit is like ananda, joy, bliss---In TC the Holy Spirit is the Will To Godhood activating life to evolve to Godhood. D. Jesus Christ takes his place alongside the great Involutionary religious founders, defined as great and rare religious geniuses, identifiers of the God within, and not really avatars, the coming to earth of God.

Christianity is the religion of the West, and I am from the West. Christianity has taught the West the religious values of the Involutionary Inward Path. For me loyalty to Christ does not involve rejecting other religions. I affirm the Theoevolutionary Church simply because it is the most complete religion in the West.

The addition of the Evolutionary Outward Path, and the Twofold Path, holds that material life evolves to supermaterial life and on eventually to Godhood, the God first seen, or identified with, in the Inward Path of the Revealed Religions. I consider the Theoevolutionary Church and the Outward Path a reformulation of religion, a revitalization of religion, a term I prefer to “radical,” although the changes advocated are considerable.

I also interpret the Revealed Religions in categories from Cattell's Beyondism, and other evolutionists. “Sin” and “salvation” I define in terms of devolution and evolution, and the restoration of evolution to Godhood. All of Culture revolves around this interpretation.

The True Liberation of Women, and Men

Evolutionary Alchemy

In some respects the “liberation of women” has, perhaps unknowingly, agreed with the traditional, Inward Path perspective in the denigration of reproduction. How demeaning to define the female principle, prakriti, or Shakti, as profane powerful nature opposed to the sacred, spiritual Shiva, or purusha, the male principle. At the mystical level, the Involutionary Inward Path of the Revealed Religions has at best used women as symbols for the beloved Holy Wisdom. The medieval Knights and the troubadours, according to Evola, were dedicated to this kind of symbolic spiritual woman.

In the Evolutionary Outward Path of the Theoevolutionary Church women are certainly far more than symbolic of spiritual wisdom. Women are, along with their men, sacred vehicles and vessels that move evolution upward through reproduction, eventually to Godhood. Real, physical beauty can be glorified. The true liberation of women, and men, comes from unblocking the Great Spiritual Blockade of the Inward Path. Physical virility is affirmed in the Outward Path, spiritual virility is affirmed in the Inward Path. Spiritual values are first reflected in material values, not the other way around.

This may not be the denigration of reproduction that modern liberation movements prefer, but in this evolutionary sense, the “animal-nature” needs to be liberated, or exhumed. Reproduction is not taken here as irrational Dionysian frenzy, but as carefully directed evolution upward to Godhood. Evolution is not profane, devolution is. Call it evolutionary alchemy, the laboratory of evolution, the true divine chemistry.

Shakti is not a blind power

Shakti is not a blind power, as Tantra and Evola implied, and not irrational as Nietzsche claimed with his Will to Power. Shakti is the Spirit Within, defined as the Will to Godhood, which means It is not blind, It has a goal to evolve to Godhood, by activating material life and supermaterial to Godhood, in conjunction with natural evolution.

In the Theoevolutionary Church, the sense of identity in the Evolutionary Outward Path is with the Spirit and its supermaterial goal of Godhood. The sense of identity in the Involutionary Inward Path is with the “no-body” condition of Nirvana, or Heaven. The Inward Path is required to close itself to the deepest identity of Shakti, which is the Will to Godhood.

The Outward Path unblocks Shakti from The Great Spiritual Blockade of the Inward Path which then releases life to evolve to the Godhood first seen and identified with in the Virtual Godhood of the Inward Path. Both paths are included in the Twofold Path of the Theoevolutionary Church.

The problem I have with the radical traditionalists

The problem I have with radical traditionalists is there rejection, or ejection, of material evolution from religion. This defines a reaction so backward that it compares to all the world's fundamentalists, with their rejection of science and the modern world. I know these are desperate times but the revolutionaries, right and left, of the last generation were at least respecters of evolution and modern science.

We don't have this problem in the Theoevolutionary Church. In our Positive Theology, we place Traditionalism solely in the Involutionary Inward Path, where it has always in all times sought to Identify with God, but not evolve to God. In harmony with nature, we affirm the Evolutionary Outward Path to Godhood, which seeks not to reject the modern world (and does not merely identify with God) but seeks to evolve to Godhood at the Zenith of evolution in the Kosmos. Both Paths are accepted in the Theoevolutionary Church with the Twofold Path.

Putting the Inward Path in its proper place

The total dominance of the Involutionary Inward Path in the Revealed Religions has gone on long enough. This is the path that essentially develops the ability to kill the body through an act of will. Tantrism formulates a “science of death,” or the art of dying. Yogins, rabbis, and priests need to step back, blink a few times, and consider those words: “to kill the body through an act of will.” Nirvana and Heaven are found this way, that is true, but nirvana is “identification” with God, a no-body identification---this is not Godhood, even though it is more blissful than any sensual thing.

Even so, unlike the modern intellectuals, we do not seek to kill the Involutionary Inward Path, which would thereby kill the Revealed Religions. We seek to put the Inward Path in its proper place, at last, by bringing forward the Evolutionary Outward Path of material evolution to Godhood. This is the Godhood with which the Inward Path identifies but does not become. The Outward Path is the path from material and supermaterial evolution to superphenomenal and epiphenomenal Godhood.

This brings the Eastern renunciation of life together with the Western acceptance of life. This is at last a Western yoga ecumenically connected to the Eastern yoga, a revitalized conservatism rather than radical destruction.

We still have the Constitution

I am anything but a fuddy dud, having introduced Cattell's Beyondism into the Theoevolutionary Church, yet I advocate a return to the Constitution of the Founders.

The Founders found a way for the United States to be a nation by greatly limiting the power of the central government and giving great power and freedom to the states. Madison thought that the power of the states should extend to all affairs of the people, local government always looks best after its own.

The synthesis of sociobiology has affirmed what the Founders knew, that patriotism in defense of family, race, region, religion and country is what allowed us to survive and evolve. Globalism is utopian and often violently counter-productive.

Majority rule, which the Founders approved of, was designed for representative government. But minority concerns were addressed with very generous states rights and a very limited central government. Today minority lobbies run Congress, not the majority as defined as state representatives.

Can we make another start by returning to the Constitution of our Founders? I see no better solution to our overblown, collapsing empire. Revolution never, or rarely, works, and usually it does far more damage than what it replaced. We can even contain or champion the growing ethnic concerns by affirming the independent states of the Constitution.

Readers of this blog know that the Theoevolutionary Church affirms evolution, it is the sacred method in which we can attain Godhood. States rights and limited central government allow the freedom and variety of evolution to take place. This is the Revitalized Conservatism we affirm.

This is the Twofold Path

Happiness and peace is the goal of the Inward Path, in the sense of stillness and lack of contention. This was the goal of the pagan philosophers as well as the goal of the Revealed Religions.

Evolution to Godhood is the goal of the Outward Path, and here happiness, the Inward Path goal, can even block the goal of the Outward Path.

In the Inward Path sexual abstinence is required, the power of sex is transformed in attaining the bliss of enlightenment. In the Outward Path sexual reproduction is required as reproduction is the way of the Spirit-Will, as the Spirit-Will can only be “reincarnated” through reproduction.

The Inward Path leads to Virtual Godhood for the very few who can reach it, the Outward Path leads material-spiritual evolution to Godhood, activated by the Spirit, which is even more rare than Virtual Godhood..

This is the Twofold Path.

Contrary to Nietzsche

The modern world has killed only the nonmaterial God, not the supermaterial and epiphenomenal God. So God is not dead.

“We have killed God by rejecting the transcendent world as the true norm of our moral conduct,” (Dr. Bob Zunjic on Nietzsche) but we have not killed the immanent world of Godhood.

Science may have killed the spiritual world but it has provided, or will one day provide, a supermaterial God by way of evolution.

The divine path is not lost, it is absorbed in the evolution of material life to Godhood.

Therefore, we do not have to give up the religious framework.
We can place meaning in humans as evolutionary bridges to superhumans, Gods, and Godhood, all within the world of material and supermaterial evolution.

Our options are not despair and nihilism. We can even preserve the old faith in the Involutionary Inward Path to the God or Father Within.

Every thing is not “permitted” if we seek not to devolve but to evolve to Godhood through the Evolutionary Outward Path.

Indeed, we ourselves will have to become Gods, but by way of our evolving descendants, not ourselves, so Postmodernism, Nietzsche's heir, is also mistaken in its solipsism.

The intelligible world is the reflection of the sensible world

Opposite Platonism, the intelligible world is the reflection of the sensible world, man’s true home, not the other way around.

Ideas have meaning only in so far as they help us understand the sense world.

The sense world evolves to an epiphenomenal world and eventually to epiphenomenal Godhood. This epiphenomenal world has been mistaken for spirituality without materiality, but there really is not two worlds of Matter and Spirit, there is the material and supermaterial world made different through evolution.

The Evolutionary Outward Path represents the sensible world, explored somewhat by Aristotle, the Involutionary Inward Path represents the world of Plato. This is the Twofold Path in the Theoevolutionary Church.

Although they included Aristotle, the Revealed Religions were largely Platonic, and they remained dualistic. They essentially rejected the material world rather than seeing it as the evolutionary path to Godhood.

The Twofold Path in the Theoevolutionary Church connects the two paths in one, at last.

Solutions to Balkanization

I think the prediction of the coming multicultural, multiethnic, Balkinization of the United States, which Robertson wrote about years ago, and Buchanan is now beginning to write about, has a different solution than either of them suggest.

Robertson said, let them go, let us create or allow devolved ethnostates. No, Buchanan says, we are one nation, make them all assimilate into English speaking Americans.

I say, give the states far more freedom and independence, as the Constitution prefers. Let each state be unique, even ethnically unique, then protect the freedom of the states in the federal nation. Some say this sounds more like an empire, but I see it as the United States affirmed in the Constitution. This requires a Revitalized Conservatism, it need not be radical.

The Nature Of Our Decline

Here is a quote from the leader of one of the world's most ubiquitous music brands, selling 27 million albums, with major ads for companies like Apple, Pepsi, Target, Verizon, and even the president of the United States:

“ Always listen to the girls. Hook the 14-year-old fan. Why? Because I fell in love with music when I was 14, and you couldn't tell me anything—I thought I knew what was going down. I built my personality off of music listened to at 14.” (Will.I.Am, leader, Black Eyed Peas, Rolling Stone, April 29, 2010)

This may be a winning formula today for selling albums and getting rich, but it is also the formula for certain cultural collapse. Answering the question why these people have power over our children and our country will reveal the nature of our decline.

Preliminary response to Taoism

Nourishing the Spirit

Human beings are the image of Godhood not the image of the Kosmos.

How do we nourish the energy of the Spirit? Through upward reproduction and evolution to higher states of energy and evolution.

Nourishing the Spirit means the Spirit needs to evolve within the vehicle of the body, of matter, gaining evolution for the Spirit.

Not “chi,” not “prana,” but the Holy Spirit within life, which is epiphenomenal, not empty, not nothingness. It is this Spirit which must be managed, but not managed like Taoism, Hinduism or Buddhism, which seek to manipulate the chi/prana through abstinence, etc., for inward involutionary changes in the human being only, not evolutionary change.

Upward evolution means acquiring greater truth, beauty, goodness and power.

The “balancing,” or going with the flow, means the flow of evolution, not merely balancing human internal forces with so called natural forces. The balancing is between the satanic forces of devolution and the evolutionary forces that lead to Godhood, aided by the Spirit which is the Will to Godhood.

Accepting the status quo can cause devolution and death, there must be an active, not passive, affirmation of evolution and the Will to Godhood, in conjunction with order and stability.
