My religious philosophy simply stated

Simply stated, Tirips or the will, which is material and within every cell of the body, is reborn in the physical body in procreation and reproduction, with its primary task of activating the body to evolve to ascending levels of Godhood while being shaped outwardly by natural selection and evolutionary mutations. Then Tirips is born in new bodies, and so on. This has happened since the beginning of the unending cosmos, leading ultimately to the evolution of life to ascending levels of Godhood, which is the sacred goal of all life. A civilizational and cultural totality derives from this religious philosophy of aiding the evolution of life to Godhood, which brings religion and science together. The biological origin of social behavior then suggests that ethnostatism, with an ethnopluralism of protected ethnostates, is the most humane and rational way for humans to live and evolve, given kin and ethnic centered human nature.

The Twofold Path and the nature of the Sacred Cause (from the archive)

The Will or Tirips within matter seeks to materially evolve to Godhood by activating matter to do so, which is then shaped by evolution and natural selection. As long as we are alive every cell in our body demands survival and reproductive success. This natural activation, which I call Tirips, can be blocked, subverted, or it can be unknown to us, but it can't legitimately be intellectually or instinctively denied. This cause is not like the child of Gods, it is more like the Mother of Gods, like a Materia-Spiritus giving birth to evolving matter which can then evolve to ascending levels of Father Godhood. The matter and supermatter which do not succeed in evolving to Godhood can fall back to Primal Matter and can try again. And so the cosmos acts. This religious perspective can harmonize with natural science theories of the origin of the universe, with the Will or Tirips added.

External alchemy” is the material and super-material ongoing evolution of human beings all the way to Godhood by way of the Evolutionary Outward Path, whereas “internal alchemy” is the traditional way of seeking the “God” Within of the “Soul” by way of the Involutionary Inward Path---the “spiritual” God Within of the Soul is inwardly and materially experienced as bliss when all the material desires are gotten rid of by ascetics, like Christ or Buddha, which, alas, blocks evolving matter from evolving to ascending levels of Godhood.

Alchemy” denotes the remaining mystery of these goals, now merged with the modern sciences of chemistry, biology, genetics, and so on in the Outward Path of material evolution toward Godhood.

The sacred goal of material life evolving to real supermaterial Godhood has been blocked

When you think of God as “Being itself ” you then are told by St. Thomas that you can strive to be a “likeness “ of God. This assumes that material life cannot become Gods since we are told that God is non-material and spiritual.

That worldview undervalues and underestimates material life and the sacred goal of material life, because it misdiagnoses the path of the material evolution of life to ascending levels of real material/supermaterial Godhood.

I don't see a “last end” where a one perfect non-material God is attained, there is only ascending levels of real Godhood reached by continual material evolution, with starts and stops along the way. Final endings and first beginnings are a human bias brought on by our own mortality.

When life is artificially divided by a false duality between the nonexistent spiritual and the existent material this undervalues, underestimates, and blocks the sacred goal of material life evolving to real supermaterial Godhood.

The Mystery of Mysteries

Traditionalism has the basic problem of a mistaken hierarchy saying that the cosmos must come from the higher, proceed to the lower, and then somehow get back to the higher.
Does God or ascending levels of Godhood at the cosmic summit of evolution have anything to do with the birth of the cosmos? This is the Mystery of Mysteries. If one does not want to give credit to a “satanic” power at the birth of the cosmos (as most material-life-hating Mysteries do) one still needs to be open to the possibility that God is not involved in the birth of the cosmos.
It is the activation to Godhood within material life working along with natural selection and evolution that activates material evolution to Godhood, it is not God doing the activating. It is that will to Godhood or Tirips within material life which has the real primal connection to the instigation of the birth of the material cosmos. This  suggests that matter and the material world may be more important than religious Tradition has thought it was.
The universe has an endless number of worlds moving and always evolving, with perhaps a few worlds evolving material life to the highest supermaterial levels of life, called Godhood. And this evolution never ends, it moves inevitably in a pattern---even though it has its random elements---and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms, always evolving toward Godhood.

Higher degrees in the traditionalist school know that the Involutionary Inward Path, at least symbolically, leads to the nothingness-bliss which the Inward Path sees as a beatific Godhood, brought on by blocking all material desires. The traditionalist school does not appear to know that Evolutionary Outward Path of material evolution can lead to ascending levels of real Godhood, the great opposite of the Inward Path “God.”

Civilizing the beast of life and evolution requires getting in sync with and using the forces of material evolution to attain ascending levels of Godhood. Even so, we can in the Twofold Path conservatively retain the old traditionalist inward path God as a sacred relic of the past search for Godhood.

Speculation on Tirips and primal beginnings and endings

The “first cause” could be the material activation within life, Tirips, or the will-to-Godhood activating material life, and then life is shaped by the vagaries of natural selection and evolution. This activation is not confined to biological life, it happens with prebiological life, chemicals, even in big bang beginnings, etc. I do not see a final cause, I see endless evolution toward higher and higher truth, intelligence, beauty, and goodness, that is, continually evolving ascending Godhoods are reached. Life can also fall back in devolution, new cosmos are formed again, always giving life another chance to evolve to Godhood.

This suggests that the “essence” of life is Tirips or the will-to-Godhood within material life.  Tirips is the “God-Instinct” (rather than the "soul") and is the highest of all the material  instincts, higher even than the conscious brain which the activation of Tirips helps develop. Tirips has been concealed under the superficial polish of civilization. We need to go back and allow Tirips or the will-to-Godhood to develop and evolve. Science needs to discover and define Tirips.

This suggests that Tirips is “rational,” within the bounds of reason, not irrational like Nietzsche's power-seeking Dionysus. Tirips could be a form of divine consciousness since it "knows" to seek Godhood by activating material life to evolve to Godhood.  But Tirips is not Godhood, it seeks Godhood and is shaped by the vagaries of outside natural selection and evolution

Human consciousness develops in the brains of humans which the materially-life-activating Tirips first helps develop along with outside natural selection and evolution. The Tirips theory of history says that the outer events of material life are the result of the activation of the usually unconsciousness inward Tirips or will-to-Godhood, and then is shaped by evolution from the outside, all the way from big bangs or electric universes to human civilization and beyond.

This resembles the way intellectual intuition is often followed by empirical science, that is, Tirips or the will-to-Godhood decides where it wants to go first, to Godhood, and then the body, mind and culture, and outside evolution, follow as best they can, given the various environments life finds itself living in.

Transforming the old Inward Path of asceticism

If the “spirit” is defined as the power of comprehending the totality of being, as the old philosophers and as Josef Pieper say it is, it would then take the non-material out of the picture as well as the idea that God is spiritual.

As I see it, the totality of being is evolutionary and material or supermaterial and is never non-material or spiritual, and we will have to evolve much higher intelligence to see the the true totality of being that the evolved Gods see. We evolve from frogs to Gods and we have a long way to go.

And that's the point here, our traditional religious definitions of spiritualism and God as non-material, and defining the spiritual as comprehending the totality of being, have been blocking the process of material evolution to real Godhood, which we should be aiding.

Total being means materially evolving to supermaterial Godhood and to beings of eternal life, but evolutionary and material life might then go on evolving to higher levels of Godhood and higher levels of eternity.

We can think of the non-material ideas and experiences of the spirit and of God as preliminary attempts to comprehend the totality of being. The old Inward Path of asceticism can be retained but transformed in the Outward Path of material evolution to supermaterial Godhood.

The sacred material way of seeing the non-material spiritual world

Religious and traditional philosophers often make something great by downgrading other things, for example, they advance the spiritual world by devaluing the material world.

Aristotle cleverly, even cunningly, defined the “soul” as basically all that exists, or seeing all that exists, which seems okay until that seeing experience is defined as “transcendent,” beyond the material world, immaterial, or spiritual, which drastically devalues the material world and the human mind that discerns “all that exists,” or at least thinks it does.

The second most sacred thing I know of is the activation within life which drives life to live and evolve in the up and down world of material and supermaterial evolution. And the first sacred thing is the zenith of that evolution, or Godhood itself. Both of these sacred things do not transcend the material or supermaterial world. There is no need to downplay the material world to affirm Godhood, especially since we attain Godhood by way of evolving in the material world.

Life emerged from rudimentary material worlds and became self-sustaining and reproducing. I see this great process of evolution as activated from within every atom and within every cell of living bodies, which then react and adapt to the various outside environments that life lives in. This activation is the same activation that leads to the desire to successfully survive and reproduce, as well as the activation to evolve to Godhood, and that activation is a material/supermaterial activation, not spiritual: I call that sacred activation Tirips.

The origin of sacredness and the origin of deep religion comes from trying to understand this process of numberless material worlds always evolving toward supermaterial Godhood, and seeking to understand how life can become best synchronized with this sacred process of evolution, and to help it along.

As Cattell and others have implied, evolution moves inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms, all the way to Godhood. That is a better material way of seeing “all that exists” without downgrading all that exists, and without inventing a non-material spiritual world.

The activation of the cosmos and life, and accepting our sacred fate

Heidegger asked the question why there is something rather than nothing? He said it was the basic question of metaphysics.

I start with the centrality of the activation of the cosmos and of life. Why is something activated? I see the goal of the sacred activation as the evolution of material life in the cosmos to ever ascending levels of Godhood, culminating in the zenith of everlasting eternal life. That which does not reach the zenith of everlasting eternal life tries again, endlessly, in new cosmos. And so the universe transport itself, whether it always begins again with ongoing powerful big bangs or with powerful electrical currents.

It may be that since human life has a beginning and an end humans are biased to demand an end and beginning to the cosmos when there is no end or beginning. Arrived evolved Godhood doesn't have an ending but has eternal life.

In the theological materialism just described the ancient prescription of “accepting ones fate” means first and foremost getting in harmony with the sacred activation to evolve material life in the cosmos to ever ascending levels of Godhood. “Faith” in that natural goal, in the zenith of that sacred process, would come from the natural evolving process, which includes instances of stagnation and retreat and the ups and downs of natural selection, with the pattern moving toward higher and higher more effective living forms, without having to invent a non-material spiritual world in order to surpass the endings and beginnings of human life.

If you ask where did this activation come from, we probably won't know until we evolve intelligence high enough to know, perhaps not until we evolve to Godhood. It seem likely to me that when life evolves to eternal Godhood it will have absolute answers to these questions. Meanwhile we accept our sacred fate.

Seeking the origin of sacredness and the origin of deep religion in the activation of material evolution

I see the universe as having an endless number of worlds moving and always evolving, with “life” evolving in some worlds, and perhaps with a few worlds evolving material life to the highest supermaterial levels of life, called Godhood. And this evolution never ends, it moves inevitably in a pattern---even though as many have said it has its random elements---and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms, always evolving toward Godhood.

I see this great process of evolution as activated from within every atom and within every cell of living bodies, which then react and adapt to the various outside environments that life lives in. This activation is the same activation that leads to the desire to successfully survive and reproduce. And this activation is a material/supermaterial activation, not spiritual: I call this sacred activation Tirips.

The origin of sacredness and the origin of deep religion come from trying to understand this process of numberless material worlds always evolving toward supermaterial Godhood, and from seeking to understand how life can become best synchronized with this sacred process of evolution, and help it along.

Is the universe favorable or unfavorable to human beings?

"The universe is a machine for making gods." (Bergson)

Science says the universe is not favorable or unfavorable to human beings, it doesn't care either way. I disagree. Where the universe does seem indifferent is in natural selection.  The best in life is attained and eventually Godhood is attained by evolution, that is, the zenith of life, the highest beauty, truth, goodness, intelligence and power is attained by way of natural selection and evolution (but soon genetic selection) and the universe lets that happen---this does seem to indicate that the universe is favorable to it. The universe seems favorable to life in general because somehow it was/is set up for life to seek to evolve toward Godhood.

Human beings therefore can and should show more than indifference to the universe and its evolutionary patterns, we can aid in the evolution of life toward Godhood by voluntarily monitoring the sociobiological process of evolution and the genetic-cultural development of life with objective international research centers, which could lesson the suffering and decline of groups while fostering variety and healthy competition. (see Cattell's "Beyondism.")

Can we do this? Will we do it? We are capable of it. We may need to be capable of it if we are to survive into the future.

The universe is not evil.

Is the universe orderly or disorderly?

Nietzsche thought that eternal chaos and disorder define the universe, as Eliot Jurist pointed out. That probably explains Nietzsche's will to power, which has no real goal other than relativistic Dionysian power. I don't see the universe that way.

I see life in the universe as always activated to evolve toward Godhood, defined as the zenith of success in the eternal drive for successful survival and reproduction. Was it Bergson who said the universe was designed for evolving Gods? That is not a universe of eternal chaos and disorder.

This may sound like an anthropomorphic bias in defining the universe, but until humans evolve much higher and get a fuller picture of the universe, we can define the universe as life always trying to evolve toward the zenith of success in survival and reproduction, which is Godhood. That is an evolutionary universe of order with occasional chaos.  If we can't realistically fight against the great dynamics of the universe we may as well try to harmonize with it---call it the tao of theological materialism.

The future of religion transformed

Matter is energy, but energy is matter. There would be no matter without energy but also no energy without matter. Do we really want to rate one higher than the other? I would then rate living matter as more evolved than simple energy. Spiritualism turns the real material world upside-down and claims that the religious/philosophical ideal is not really material, is not matter, or is more sacred energy than lowly matter. They claim that their supreme ideas are non-material and Godlike, or even God.

Why the hatred of the material world even to the point of blocking all material desires or blocking all life, at least for ascetics? They do it so that they can dwell in the blissful bodily experience of supreme ideas, unbothered and unaffected by material desires. It is a cloistered world ultimately driven by hedonism.

The main problem with traditional asceticism is that it blocks the path of material evolution to real supermaterial Godhood, which requires material desires, but channeled desires that need to genetically and culturally funnel evolving life-forms toward the supermaterial zenith of beauty, truth and goodness. This allows material science to enter religion as a help-mate. That is the future of religion transformed.

We can conservatively keep the old ascetic inward path to the "god" within in the Twofold Path, but only as a symbolic glimpse of the real Godhood reached in the outward path of material evolution to real Godhood.

Upside down metaphysics of origins

The problem with religious cosmogonies is that they turn the origin of the cosmos and life upside down. They begin with a highest God from whose androgynous non-material Being the cosmos is created, which is considered a great falling away from the highest to the lowest.

I believe it happens the other way around. The lowest primal point of existence creates the beginning cosmos which then must evolve, if it can, to the highest existence, which is where real Godhood can exist.

That great metaphysical error has created many atheists, and devalued the world, life in the world, religion, and material evolution to real Godhood. It need not have.

The cosmos did not come from a non-material, spiritual, androgynous being, which was a metaphysical conception existing only in the minds of men who mainly dropped out of the material world to create such non-life conceptions. Godhood is a real and valid goal, but Godhood must be materially evolved to from the material to the supermaterial.

Godhood is not zero but is perhaps the infinite opposite of zero, evolved to in the material world

The great mathematician Ramanujan believed that all units emerge from a product between zero and infinity.

I would take that to another thought experiment : Life emerges from two basic units: materialism and the activation or activator of materialism, the body and the activating "spirit" or "will"(Spirit-Will or Tirips) within the material---and both are material. They then continue to evolve over much time in the material world from one or zero to the highest evolution of Godhood or infinity, which is supermaterial, not "spiritual."

We need to understand these two units, that is, the atoms, the waves and particles, the chemicals, minerals, ect., of the material unit and its underlying activator, which create life. We need to name the elements of these two basic units (which may already be named) and how they form and interact. Centering on these two, the material and the activator of the material, at least gives a form and dynamic to the scientific and religious study.

Why call the primitive beginning and unevolved units at the beginning of life God, vital as they are? Godhood is not zero but is perhaps the infinite opposite of zero, evolved to in the material world. God or Godhood doesn't appear to enter into this examination other than as what life is evolving to become as life evolves from zero to infinity.

Recovery of Life and the Universal

Scientists have all but defined the origin of life on earth as derived from minerals, water, rocks, meteors, volcanoes, lightning, etc. in an ongoing evolutionary development. I see no reason why this same thing could not happen throughout the vast cosmos. Most likely God doesn't create life, life creates Gods by way of outward evolution and an inward activation.

The end-goal of Godhood comes from this evolving process of life seeking the most success in survival, power, and even everlasting life, which is Godhood. This is what life strives for in a cosmos perhaps with life in many stages of evolution, from bacteria to Gods. This inward and outward will or spirit of material evolution is about as close as we will come to defining the "universal."

It seems to me that if we want to give direction to a world which is throwing away the virtues and values of religion this is the way to recovery.

Regarding the traditional proof of God

It may be an original theological concept that the Spirit-Will-To-Godhood contains both the cause and goal of life, since the Spirit-Will is what activates material life and does so because it seeks the goal of Godhood. The Spirit-Will is never separate from the material which it activates so there is never a single, non-material, spiritual cause.

I do not see an unmoved, non-material God as the cause of the world, the Primary Material is periodically activated by the Primary Spirit-Will from which there is no separation, and there is always an endless evolution to Godhood, with many “failures” and fewer successes, and always with new chances. It seems just as likely that there never is, or was, a “first cause” or a “one” thing first moving another thing, things may reasonably go on forever, being moved by the Spirit-Will, and then shaped by evolution.

The two remaining “occult” entities in what I consider a naturalistic pattern are the activating Spirit-Will and Godhood at the zenith of evolution, which I believe will one day be acknowledged and defined by science---for now they require “faith” and intellectual intuition.

Metaphysical gender duality is not metaphorically necessary

Metaphysical gender duality is not metaphorically necessary, as with Prakriti and Perusha in Hinduism, or Shechinah and El-Shaddai in Judaism, because gender differentiation happens long after the Primary Material creation of life from atoms to metabolism to genes to gender, and so on.

It is true that in the Revealed Religions most dualities end in the One, like Brahma or Ain-Soph, and the One then "emanates" everything from It and back to It, but in the philosophy and cosmogony of the Theoevolutionary Church Godhood is arrived at through ages-long evolution, and life is created in the Primary Material, not unlike science has suggested, then life evolves to the complex world, ending in the zenith of Godhood, which science has not yet suggested.

This also avoids the awkward notions of an “androgynous” God developed it seems to resolve the metaphysical male-female and spiritual-material dualism. The Spirit-Will within matter which activates life need not be considered “male,” and matter need not be “female.” The Spirit-Will activates within all matter, just as the heart is not separate from the body.  Evolution then shapes life, with some life attaining Godhood, and some life starting over again in the Primal Material, activated by the Spirit-Will-To-Godhood.

Godhood Is Not Outside The Universe

There is nothing outside the universe, any cause is within the universe. Natural science is correct in this principle.

The present universe appears to have evolved from primal matter. Even the Spirit-Will, which is yet to be acknowledged by science, exists within matter as an activating part of matter.

The Spirit-Will is not Godhood, it seeks Godhood through activating matter to evolve to Godhood. Evolution and natural selection then shape the material world.

Godhood is arrived at, like everything else in the universe, by material and supermaterial evolution, within the universe.

The sacred mission of mankind is to become in harmony with the evolution to Godhood and to help evolution along the Path to Godhood.

First Cause Or Endless Creation?

The refusal of the Revealed Religion to grant permission to exist, to be, unless creation is derived from God has set up the tragic confrontation between the material and spiritual world, between religion and science. The Theoevolutionary Church (TC) speaks of a cosmic evolution to Godhood, a cosmos created from Primary Matter and the Spirit-Will within matter which activates matter. Rather than a first cause we speak of endless creation and evolution. Even St. Thomas left a doctrine of creation at least somewhat open, saying that the ultimate human knowledge of God is that we do not know him.

The “perfect” seems not to be the "cause," that which seeks the Perfect is the cause, which explains why there is a cause to go somewhere it needs to go. The Spirit-Will seeks Perfect Godhood by way of activating life to evolve to Godhood.  Evolution then shapes life, not always toward Godhood. This may even be seen in relation to pagan cosmogony, where Earth Mother (Primary Matter) gives birth to life, activated by Sky Father (the Spirit-Will.) This is how the TC resolves formerly irreconcilable differences in religion and philosophy, and ancient and modern history.

Contra Vedanta

I don't see Being “polarizing” Itself into something else while still remaining Itself united. Being becomes Being preceded by the uniting of formerly polarized life.

Only if an abstract principle or an idea is defined as God can God be thought of as distinct from a concrete object. Godhood is not an abstract conception but a Supreme Concrete Object.

A Third Force is present in all this, the Spirit-Will that activates from within all life to evolve to Godhood, which is then shaped from without by evolution. Even at the Great Union of Godhood it is the fully realized Spirit-Will which helps to Transform supermaterialism into the next cosmic Godhood, which then contains the distinctive qualities of the arrived Godhood.

Old cosmos containing the properties of past transformed Godhood continue to seek Godhood, following black holes, big bangs and other actions in the cosmos. This suggests a multiverse rather than a universe.
