Isn't it soon time to create cultural and political structures in line with the norms of nature and real human nature?

We have often invented “norms” to fit what Nietzsche called our wills to power, but the will to power is a norm of nature when it is understood to be the will to survival and reproductive success, which exists at the biological origin of our social behavior. These norms are laws of nature, whether we know it or not, or try to hide it.

Many thinkers have tried to disparage the biological origin of our social behavior as being too reductionist, too simplistic, but it is the reality, and their intellectual complications are like sleight of hand tricks to confuse their grabs for power, which in the end are grabs for survival and reproductive success.

It is simply a fiction to think that our social behavior can be free of biological origins or that our cultures have virtually nothing to do with our biological drives, why would we want it to be that way? Look deeper and you will see sleight of hand tricks to confuse the grabs for power for survival and reproductive success.

Marxism, socialism, and now the cultural Marxism of the West are just such sleight of hand tricks. But so can be libertarianism and capitalism, although they are more honest about their wills to power. And politics is a side show of magician tricks and disguises which are really the grabs for power for survival and reproductive success.

Cultures can operate for a time with behavior that goes against nature and human nature with such experiments as Marxism, radical feminism, homosexuality, and postmodern relativism, but they eventually lead to biologically and culturally diseased societies. These cultures are eventually pulled back by the biological and genetic leash of real human nature to cultures that better reflect real human nature, and humans then work within and adapt to the environments they find themselves living in, and very slowly change.

Isn't it soon time to create cultural and political structures in line with the norms of nature and real human nature? Isn't it time to be aware of the magician tricks and disguises and not be fooled by them? An ethnopluralism of ethnostates is the best political configuration for humans beings to live within because it follows the norms and laws of nature, and follows real human nature, which remains kin and ethnic centered. An ethnopluralism of ethnostates or regions could even be established legally in the United States with our constitutional separation of powers and states, protected by federalism.

Do we still need the magician tricks and the disguised grabs for power for survival and reproductive success? Can't we be honest? Can't we tell the truth? Our lives depend on it, or soon will.

We need to now make abstractions unreal and real life real in religion and politics

The following statement is considered “politically incorrect”: Real civilization and culture cannot arise when men and women do not share the same place and ethnic group or genetic pool, homogeneity is then lost, people don't bond well together, subtleties are lost.

The next statement is considered religiously incorrect, which is sort of political incorrectness from the right: Spiritualism is as abstract as cultural Marxism; Godhood is not an abstraction, Godhood is material/supermaterial and evolved to in the material world.

Getting back to reality in religion and politics largely means rejecting or at least transforming old unreal abstractions. Then we can create societies in harmony with real human nature, which is fundamentally kin and ethnic centered, with religions that make sacred the evolution of a variety of life toward ascending levels of Godhood.

Both religious and political thinkers have taken the belief in abstractions to absurd levels. Let the abstractions of science, religion and philosophy be seen as only mirrors of real life and only secondary to real life, not the other way around. We have inherited spiritual nothingness from traditional religions, Plato, and their followers. We need to now make abstractions unreal and real life real in religion and politics.

The second Democratic debate preached the reverse racism of people of color

The second Democratic debate last night had Joe Biden standing with his head bowed as Kamala Harris lectured him about the evils of white racism, and no one, certainly not Biden, had the courage, or perhaps even the knowledge to declare that Harris is really preaching and promoting the reverse racism of people of color. That was the white elephant, the 500 pound gorilla in the room for these ludicrous Democratic candidates.

The answer to racism is not the reverse racism of Harris, or even the attempt to wipe out racism; the attempt to wipe out racism is like an attempt to wipe out human nature---people simply are are biologically and culturally kin and ethnic centered. Kamala Harris is right to promote her own ethnic group and culture, and all of the cuckold white Democratic candidates are wrong in supporting these attacks on their own ethnic group and culture. In biologically and psychologically healthy cultures this would be obvious.

We wait for the day when forced multiculturalism naturally gives way to an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. The real debate should be over how we can conservatively adapt the Constitutional separation of of powers and states to an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. But that is for another time and a healthier people. The question is will it be before or after great civil and ethnic devastation?

Five past blog entrances on how the Twofold Path of theological materialism and the projected Theoevolutionary Church synthesizes past religions and science

(Some of the links are no-longer working)

The Twofold Path transforms the God of Odin and Christ

 (from July 30, 2017)

Colin Cleary suggested a few years ago in his essay, "What is Odinism?" (recently republished in Counter Currents, part one) that the key feature of Odin was his quest for knowledge and power. Cleary thinks that Odin and Odinism essentially sought to "become God" in that quest for knowledge and power.

The Christian world has disparaged the idea of becoming God as being highly blasphemous. Traditional religions have demanded that their God be spiritual and certainly beyond the vulgar and evil material world, the desires of the material flesh are to be blocked or overcome in order to see the God Within.

Odin could be called the first Western Faustian man (although he probably was originally Asian-Aesir) seeking knowledge and power at all costs. But being Faustian, Western knowledge has moved on from Odin to where we can now see that the path to real Godhood is through material evolution.

But conservatism is vitally important in the lives of human beings and human culture, that is, retaining what was long developed as important to humans and to human survival, which is comfortable in the lives of people. The culture of Christianity is virtually baked into Western civilization, but it can be transformed, just as Christianity retained but transformed Judaism, Odinism, and pagan Greeks and Romans.

The Inward Path to the God Within of Christ (and Buddha) can be retained but can now be seen as the first symbolic experience of the real Godhood reached through the Outward Path of material evolution. This is seen in the Twofold Path of theological materialism.

Faustian knowledge was obtained by standing on the shoulders of many men who not unlike Odin and Christ hung on modern trees of religious and scientific suffering and study. The Twofold Path conservatively does not reject either Odinism or Christianity. We can actually become Gods by affirming the material evolution to supermaterial Godhood, the transformed God of Odin and Christ.

Mythical/historical metaphors as history-religion-ontology

Camille Paglia viewed the ceaseless battle of nature (which she says is violent, irrational, untamable, and female) versus culture (aesthetic, logical, ever struggling and failing to tame nature, and, yes, male).

I could see Paglia's gendering images in relation to theological materialism, but I would adapt them a bit: the primal material as female gives birth to every cosmos, but within the primal material is also the material will, spirit-will, or as I call it Tirips, as male, which activates material life to evolve toward supermaterial Godhood, with many stops and starts along the evolutionary way.

I might compare these metaphors to the old myth/history of Odin migrating from Asia (thus he is of the Aesir) (proto-Scythian?), and when he reached the North Germanic region, which included Southern Sweden, a war took place between the North Germanic Vanir (old mixed Cro Magnon?) and the Aesir. Eventually a truce was created and a meld of the religions and cultures of the Vanir and Aesir was forged. The Vanir Earth Mother Nerthus, and her male consort, Ingwaz, then synthesized with the Aesir Sky Father, Odin, and his family, eventually creating the mature faith of Odinism, and its people.

But being conservative I work from the transformation of the Western Christian religion with theological materialism, where the material world evolves from the primal material, not God, toward real supermaterial Godhood. The Inward Path of traditional religion is retained but seen as a preliminary inward experience of the real Godhood reached through evolution---and this also can be synthesized more smoothly with modern science. In this way we could metaphorically harken way back to the very old Swedish Nerthus and Ingwaz, if we wanted to.

Dilemmas of the Alt Right

The way I see it the main dilemma of the Alt Right was how to deal with the ethnocentrism of real human nature while also dealing with religion, science, conservatism, nationalism, and radical racialism.

Religion versus science presented itself, with the science-minded Alt Right moving toward a scientific racialism and rejecting religion. A lesser number moved toward transhumanism preferring intelligent machines to humans. A larger group moved toward the Traditionalist School of Guenon and Evola and are now mainly followers of Aleksandr Dugin, who hates the West---this school downplays science in favor of spiritualism over materialism, but keeps an element of racialism-as-tradition. Another wing moved toward paganism, such as Odinism. Perhaps the largest group on the far right never quite fit in with the Alt Right, they are the racial supremacists, sometimes in the Hitler mode. Others on the far right moved toward a racialist version of Christianity arguing that Christ was not Jewish, etc. Few if any moved toward conservatism or paleoconservatism.

I faced many of the same dilemmas of the Alt Right and the paleoconservatives, and I developed theological materialism, having been impressed and influenced by Raymond Cattell's religion from science called Beyondism, Edward Wilson's deep sociobiology, Russell Kirk and Pat Buchanan's paleoconservatism, the ethnostatism of Wilmot Robertson, and the esoteric religious thinking of people like Guenon, and others. I also dealt philosophically with the courageous Friedrich Nietzsche, and later, Heidegger. I believe I included or synthesized these thinkers in developing theological materialism, which sees the material world evolving to supermaterial Godhood, the God first symbolically but incompletely glimpsed from within by traditional religion.

I eventually found a way to be a conservative patriotic American, grounded in religion, philosophy, and science, and affirming the constitutional separation of powers and states in the United States, slightly amended to save itself, by becoming an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, where different ethnic groups within ethnostates can be what they actually are and what human nature actually is, kin and ethnic-centered, rejecting the various forms of ethnic supremacy and imperialism as unworkable and immoral. The sacred goal of life is to materially evolve toward supermaterial Godhood in the cosmos.

The Struggles to Overcome the Great Spiritual Blockade

The Great Spiritual Blockade gained momentum around the time of the great sages, Buddha, Zarathustra, Lao Tzu, Christ, and Socrates (who made a spiritual God of reason), that is, more or less around the Sixth Century BC. Since that time some men have tried to to rise up against the Blockade, to save the material world from being disparaged and slandered.

There was a rising at least during the Enlightenment of the 18th century, and later Nietzsche and a few others also rose up against the Blockade, usually rejecting or throwing out the great sages in their attempts to unblock the Blockade. Wagner might have revived Odinism, Nietzsche nearly created a new religion of the superman based on his version of presocratic culture. And science, carrying on from the Enlightenment, bonded with a strict Godless naturalism or materialism. Hegel and Marx also tried to unblock the spiritual blockade with their versions of philosophy and materialism even though they created spiritual utopias in the process.

The grip of the Great Spiritual Blockade remains, although the religions and philosophies of the great sages have been slowly fading in the West, replaced not with another religion or political philosophy but with the great license of libertarian individualism, or the nothingness of hedonistic nihilism, or in the middle-east with a fundamentalist Islam. Science has tried to remain materialistically neutral which has led to its general social impotence. Modern versions of evolutionary religion or spirituality are often updates of Buddhism dealing with or dismissing the material world from the old perspective of so-called non-material inward bliss, e.g Ken Wilber.

The theological materialism of the Theoevolutionary Church overcomes the Great Spiritual Blockade with the Twofold Path, by including the great sages of the Blockade in the Involutionary Inward Path to the symbolic-experience of the Father Within, even as it affirms the Evolutionary Outward Path of material and supermaterial evolution to real Godhood. The old God or Father Within experienced as bliss is conservatively included but seen as attained in reality through the Outward Path of material and supermaterial evolution. Science and religion can even join forces as we unblock the Great Spiritual Blockade so that we may evolve toward unending levels of Godhood in the cosmos.

Ecumenical Involution And Beyondist Evolution In the Theoevolutionary Church

I see no reason to avoid the ecumenical approach to Revealed Religions, Christianity, Ancient Greek philosophy, Buddhism, Bahai Faith, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Taoism, Odinism, etc., as they reveal variations of the Perennial Religion and the Involutionary Inward Path. There has been Perennial Knowledge of this Tradition since prehistory. As a dweller in the Western world our Involutionary Inward Path affirms Traditional religions and their revelations.

But the Involutionary Inward Path contains only half of the new religious order of renewal of the Theoevolutionary Church, we have also seen and affirmed the Evolutionary Outward Path to Godhood. A brilliant Darwinian kind of Evolutionary Outward Path was developed by Professor Raymond Cattell, called Beyondism, which has been supermaterialized in the Theoevolutionary Church. Beyondism helps define the scientific path to Godhood evolved to outwardly.

Traditional Christians who worry about the weakening aspects of ecumenicism can be heartened by our return to the most ancient Perennial Tradition, which was affirmed and enlarged by Jesus Christ. There need be no more religious wars regarding the Involutionary Perennial Religion. Also, religion has been dying in the West and can be strengthened by the Evolutionary Outward Path of material evolution to Godhood.

The vital material aspect of the world has been largely blocked (see The Great Spiritual Blockade) by the exclusively Inward Path of the Gnostic traditionalist perspective. The Evolutionary Outward Path of the projected Theoevolutionary Church reintroduces change and even competition in the material world, as we must materially evolve to the Godhood we first saw Inwardly. Such things as Federalism and Subsidiarity with small independent states, or ethnostates (which can work harmoniously with the original separation of powers and states in the Constitution of the United States) may provide the base for both the Inward and Outward Paths to Godhood, the Divine Twin Paths.

Panderers and cuckolds for President 6/27/2019

It was embarrassing for our country to watch the panderers and cuckolds at the Democratic debate for president last night. No subtly at all there. It was like vote buying, I almost expected the fools to start throwing twenty dollar bills at the audience. There is law against vote buying (42 USCS § 1973i(c)---maybe it needs to be expanded.

Symbolic of the Democrats is Beto O'Rourke, who in the Texas of old would have been banished to the edge of town as a silly fool for being a traitor to his own people. But like most Democrats of his age goofy “Beto” (a common Spanish nickname of course) is an overly enthusiastic panderer and cuckold for any race, ethnic group, culture, or country other than his own.

Elizabeth Warren is just a better educated version of O'Rourke, if being a socialist can be called being better educated---she is just a more polished panderer and cuckold. Joe Biden is an unctuous idiot. President Trump should be able to beat these people fairly easily, if he himself can keep from pandering to those who want him to go to war with Iran, or those who don't want him to put tariffs on their virtually traitorous global importing businesses.

When the moral imagination leads to a spiritual non-materialism it leads away from reality, but not necessarily away from religion

T.S. Eliot and Russell Kirk rightly worried that the humanities and literature were turning away from the traditional Western “moral imagination,” and things certainly have gone that way. They worried that literature wasn't doing its job of adjusting to the conditions of human existence by adjustment to the traditional norms of Christian and Western tradition and was instead adjusting to weird norms or not adjusting at all.

But the “norms” are really related to human nature and so the judgment comes first from defining human nature and then from seeing how humans have socially and culturally adjusted to real human nature. It so happens that traditional religions did a good job of defining human nature the way the non-religious evolutionary sciences much later defined human nature as being basically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection.

But you'll notice no spiritualism in that sociobiological definition other than the general tendency of humans to create religions for successful survival and reproductive purposes. And it is from here that we can see the modern moral imagination go jumping off from the traditional norms of the Christian and Western imagination. This was not due to an “idyllic” or “demonic” imagination infiltrating into our cultures, as Eliot and and Kirk defined it, but was basically due to the natural biological will to power of the “usurpers.”

I know that philosophers tend to think their thinking is beyond the pedestrian drives of biology but they are deeply biased by it. You will notice that many of the pre and postmodern philosophers were not Christian: Husserl, Leo Strauss, Derrida, Foucault, etc. and they felt no compunction biologically or culturally to adjust to the conditions of human existence by adjusting to the norms of the traditional Western Christian moral imagination, and instead adjusted to ethnic norms, weird norms, no norms at all, or a relativity of all values.

None of them adjusted to the biological origin of social behavior, and that explains their biases. The work now of literature and the humanities is to take the dusty physical and biological sciences and give them a moral imagination which is not dusty. For example, psychological novels can apply the moral imagination to adjusting to human nature as defined by evolutionary psychology and sociobiology. When the moral imagination leads to a spiritual non-materialism it leads away from reality, but not necessarily away from religion (see theological materialism), so futurist novels can deal with the moral dilemmas of materially involving to real supermaterial Godhood.

Appropriating cultural appropriation

The left is stupid to open the cultural appropriation can of worms, blaming whites for culturally appropriating nonwhite cultures, such as going after a white high school girl for wearing a Chinese cheongsam to her high school prom; although it was stupid and even suicidal of whites to abandon their own culture in the first place, cheered on of course by the media and the schools.

White Western culture has been unrestrainedly appropriated and copied by every ethnic group in the world but whites have said nothing about it, probably for fear of opening that other can of worms called “racism.”

But if we think about it a little deeper we end up saying more power to the ethnic identity movement, it could help revive White Western culture which has been dying largely do to whites culturally appropriating nonwhite cultures. Whites can appropriate cultural appropriation.

We will probably end up with ethnostates in the long run, which is the best and perhaps only way to end the increasing ethnic squabbling in unworkable multicultural societies. Human nature remains biologically kin and ethnic-centered, and that is healthy and good.

The vital biological-evolutionary reality of man, religion, and Godhood

Spiritual religious moralists want us to believe that without the spiritual view of human nature we are merely “naked apes.” That sells us short, and is a nasty thing to do as well.

Yes, modern life is morally aimless without traditional religion, but the religious spiritual view of human nature is blocking us from evolving in the material world all the way to supermaterial Godhood, because their view of God is spiritual and not material and disparages the material world, so we remain naked apes.

Post-Christian philosophers have rejected the spiritual religious moralists but in its place they have found only meaninglessness and offered only a relativity of values and morals; they have even denied that there is a biologically derived human nature. So they will never do.

The Guenon/Evola-founded Traditionalist School, now represented by the Russian Alexander Dugin, isn't the answer either, it turns away from the modern world and rejects Western science in mystical or religious pronouncements about one spiritual tradition uniting them all. The real synthesis comes from including science in religion (Guillaume Faye's Archeofuturism does at least try to include modern science.) The real religious problem comes from the non-material spiritualism of both paganism and traditional religions, which now needs to take a secondary backseat to the vital biological-evolutionary reality of man, religion, and Godhood.

There is no first beginning and no final ending in the universe but we can evolve to an unending series of material/supermaterial Godhoods in the material and supermaterial world. This doesn't kill religion or Godhood, but it does require a transformation of religion and Godhood from the spiritual to the material and supermaterial. (see theological materialism

This means we will get our religious and scientific satisfactions not from dreaming about a union of the finite with a non-material infinite but from reaching different levels of Godhood by way of material evolution. This is the sacred task of future religion and science, which can take away our modern meaninglessness, the relativity of values and morals, and reject the stunted spiritual view of man as merely a naked ape.

It will require stout hearts and durable egos to bring this religious/scientific overview to people today. But it's well worth the effort because humans and civilizations never last long without realistic long-term religion.

If we are to save the West what can we do?

Human nature evolved to be flexible, but the lines of determinism eventually show their way. We can make free choices within determined paths based on our genetic human nature and the biological origin of social behavior.

When you have different peoples or ethnic groups trying to live in the same nation there are fewer common cultural and genetic bonds, and people tend to bond privately and ethnically, not publically. And ethnic groups compete with one another. If a nation and culture is to last a long time it needs an ethnic identity.

Trying to hold distinctly different people together by government edict, or force, and brainwashing the people in the schools and the media about the joys of diversity hasn't attained the level of order, harmony, or the homogeneous society that the Founders had in mind---and it didn't work in the Soviet Union either which quickly returned to ethnostates.

And adding religion won't save a secular diverse nation either, especially if the religion is universalist in its membership, like the traditional religions, which then work at cross purposes to the ethnic identity and homogeneity needed to hold a nation together over the long term. Even the militant religion of Islam which demands submission to the religion by force couldn't keep Islam from breaking up into Arab Sunni and Persian Shia.

So if we are to save the West what can we do? Politically I hope to see a gradual development toward ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates built within the system we have, from the separations of powers and states. Religiously the Twofold Path of theological materialism could be built within traditional religions, transforming the old Inward Path to the evolutionary Outward Path, while working within an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. Then we may more earnestly get on with materially evolving toward Godhood, which is the best and longest term social bonding we can have.

I have not seen any better proposals.

The desperate genius of political correctness and cultural Marxism

Not that long ago it was accepted that people naturally prefer their own kin, ethnic group, and culture, but then the political correctness of cultural Marxism was brainwashed into the population, so that the old fairy tale “the emperor's new clothes" or the saying “the elephant in the room” now apply to the politically incorrect guy who says at a party, “but I prefer to hang out with my own ethnic group.”

This brainwashing in political correctness and cultural Marxism was what Nietzsche called a “trans-valuation of values,” implying that only a desperate or even genius people could pull it off. And it has been brilliantly pulled off in the U. S. and the Western world. The naked emperor is called clothed and the elephant in the room is not seen.  Now merely saying you prefer to be with your own ethnic group is called “hate,” and in some countries is even against the law!

Astoundingly, the desperate genius of political correctness and cultural Marxism has denied real human nature, which remains as it has always been, kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection.

To love your own kin, ethnic group, and culture, does not have to mean that you hate other ethnic groups. The realistic way to to find order in our crowded world of different kin, ethnic groups, and cultures, is not with the farce of “multiculturalism,” which jams everyone together in the same living space and demands that they all get along, when this arrangement naturally causes competitive civil disruption, and eventually civil war. The realistic way to find order in our crowded world of different kin, ethnic groups, and cultures, is to develop ethnostates, and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, which is the best political configuration for humans beings to live within, given human nature.

It may require a few constitutional amendments to give more power to the states to move toward an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, and it will not be easy at all, but it is far preferable to the destructive farce of political correctness, cultural Marxism, and multiculturalism.

I'll bet there was a few curses and temper tantrums thrown in Tel-Aviv and Riyadh last night

I'll bet there was a few curses and temper tantrums thrown in Tel-Aviv and Riyadh last night when President Trump called off the bombing strike on Iran, in flight, which would not have benefited the U. S. in any way.

Trump normally seems to be in the pocket of Israel and Saudi Arabia so why did he save the U.S. from bombing Iran? Maybe Trump's egoism and narcissism, which is usually his weakness, didn't want to be blamed for a war that would be called “Trumps War,” especially since he was elected promising to keep us out of suicidal wars?

Trump has been good for the U.S. but if he could begin to stand up to Israel and Saudi Arabia, and sycophants like Bolton, he could be a great President.

It is not clear whether the attacks might still go forward. We will see who Trump really supports.

Thoughts on religion, conservatism, and the very long term future

Why retain the anti-science, anti-material bias of religion, why not cut yourself free from it rather than trying to transform it? I respect the conservative philosophy of life which saves the best of the past even as it changes to the new, mirroring the way the human body and brain evolved by retaining the fish, reptilian, and mammalian brain as it evolved the neocortex as the seat of higher intelligence. That is conservatism in action. In synthesizing reaction and revolution we get conservatism.

Of the three brains which we retained, one evolved upon the other, religion and modern leftist politics tend to try to block the first two, the reptilian and the basic mammalian brain, in favor of the newer, less powerful, rational brain. We try to rid ourselves of our territorial, traditional, kin-centered, and natural ethnopluralistic tendencies. But the primitive brain remains more powerful than the rational brain, which probably explains the cause of many of our modern neuroses. This has given rise to sociobiologically derived psychology (evolutionary psychology), which we hope doesn't drift too far into political correctness.

Thomas Aquinas was brilliantly conservative in saving Christianity by synthesizing the Ancient Greeks. Teilhard de Chardin also tried to include evolution in religion, but evolution for him moved toward the same completely non-material God, which is the antithesis of material evolution.

Burke, Eliot, and Kirk were wise conservative cultural and political philosophers. But the Alt-right has little time for conservative philosophy often rejecting it outright in favor of revolution, although over the last few years many in the Alt-right have absorbed the Traditionalist School of Alexander Dugin by way of Guénon and Evola, which ironically was conservative in synthesizing paganism back into the revealed religions (or the other way around.)

I am a conservative in affirming the American Constitution and deferring to custom and older Western wisdom. I understand that change should be cautiously approached by affirming ordered evolution. I avoid being “provincial in time” by going even further back to our Pleistocene past, where we evolved the human nature we still have today, and also by thinking about our sociobiological responsibility to the future.

I take seriously the earnest warnings of our Founders about avoiding entangling foreign alliances, unlike the neoconservatives who are not conservative and use big government and armed force for nefarious purposes around the world. Even so I support and am proud of our armed forces, especially our special forces, in protecting us from always rising radicals, globalists, and imperialists.

I value variety, which is so important to real evolution, by affirming ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, which could be legally accommodated by the separation of powers and states in the original Constitution, actually protecting variety, unlike our present multiculturalism which seeks an impossible homogenization. I think government should be small and the private sphere large.

But I am progressive in thinking there is a necessity for objective international sociobiological research institutes, voluntarily applied toward enhancing our survival and our future evolution. I value the order of nature, especially in its evolutionary aspects, in that we evolve in nature materially and super-materially to Godhood. The Twofold Path conservatively relates to past traditional religious tradition, first glimpsed symbolically as the God Within, which was a hint of the Godhood materially evolved to in the cosmos. With ordered evolution I believe we can now consciously help nature evolve toward the higher evolution it has so far only unconsciously been moving toward, activated inwardly and materially, while being shaped by outside selection and evolution.

How we exhume and re-constitute the permanent things in art and politics

Burke, Eliot and Kirk told us about the loss of the traditional themes, which Eliot called “the permanent things” in literature, art, film, and which are now replaced by nihilism, porn, egoism, etc. Traditional literature and art generally taught us about real human nature without being too didactic, teaching through analogy and allegory---the best art did it subtly with “imaginative persuasion.” But this great fall, this transvaluation of values, this presenting of nihilism, porn, and egoism was also taught to the people using analogy and allegory, although not always subtly. Why?

Essentially the transvaluation of traditional values was the will to power of the transvaluators. They tore apart Western tradition and Western people so that they could inherit what was left. And the transvaluators mainly picked the weakest link of spiritualism, using science to make the kill.

But what science kills it can re-constitute. The science of sociobiology has taught us about real human nature from the evolutionary perspective and it turns out that human nature as gradually defined by the evolutionary sciences is not that different from the permanent things of Burke, Eliot and Kirk, but with a few vital changes.

The evolutionary sciences have shown us that human nature is basically and genetically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection. The addition and prominence of ethnocentrism, xenophobia, and group-selecting as being natural to man, and not evil, is the biggest change and addition to the permanent things.

Political philosophy needs to affirm the implications of the biological origin of our social behavior---which points toward ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. This needs now to be taught with analogy, allegory, imaginative persuasion, and subtly. That is how we exhume and re-constitute the permanent things in literature, art, and film.

The courageous work of social psychologist Raymond Cattell

The great social psychologist Raymond Cattell freely roamed all fields and brought highly intelligent insights to all of them, but he was also very courageous, which is a rare thing in academic thinkers.

Cattell worried about the fall of intelligence and the fall of cultural morale and he saw four major things influencing decline: the rise in luxuries (machines, goods), pluralistic ethics (few values in common, moral relativism), loss of the reality principle by the pleasure principle (the id assaults the hard reality of the ego), and negative eugenic survival of moral conduct (altruists die).

Cattell listed three, sometimes competing, ideas regarding cultural change: the materialist idea (economics, environment), diffusionist (copying, borrowing), individual leaders (inventions for the group).

Diffusionists have been given more weight, but invention is more rare than we have thought. Before 10,000 BC man was extraordinarily slow to invent and change; was it the migration of Cro Magnons (now called “European early modern humans”) with their cousins from the East that jumped started things?  Cattell thought both coercion and imitation, and both the materialist and leader schools needed to be included in explaining social mutations.

The great sociobiologist E.O.Wilson affirmed Cattell by confirming the biological origin of social behavior, even if Wilson underplayed the extra courage of Cattell's work on the rise and fall of intelligence in different ethnic groups, which was not “racist” but factual.

Wilson and other academics also maltreated Cattell's courageous work on a new religion from science called Beyondism, which was way ahead of its time, and brilliant---it influenced my work on theological materialism.

Cattell and his friend Robertson even thought about ethnostates to protect variety and differences, and suffered much heat for doing so.

Transforming the moral imagination

I agree with the conservative call for the moral imagination in literature, art, films etc. but the question is, which moral imagination, which ethical imagination? What is your criteria for discrimination between good and evil? Which religion?

Does your moral imagination creatively show us that we are sinful fallen beings and the material world is evil, while the non-material spiritual world is good? If decadence is defined as the loss of an end, an object, as C.M. Joad said, what is your end, what is your object?

Affirming the material world of evolution as the means to attaining real Godhood is the source of the moral imagination, the ethical imagination, and the criteria for discrimination between good and evil in the philosophy of theological materialism. Some would call this the "diabolical" imagination which supposedly puts the kiss of death on the idea of evolution as the means to attaining Godhood. That bothers me, but it is not a good enough blockade to change my philosophy.

In any case, the old ascetic experience of the God or Father within is retained in the Twofold Path, but that inward path is transformed in the Outward Path of material evolution toward always-ascending levels of real Godhood.

Literature, art, films, etc. will be revived from both the blockade of asceticism and the modern decadence of the loss of an end in art when the moral imagination is transformed by sacred evolution in theological materialism.

How to be conservative while immanentizing the eschaton

Three years ago I wrote here that theological materialism seeks to “immanentize the eschaton,” meaning to bring about Godhood in the immanent world and in history by way of material and supermaterial evolution.

Eric Voeglin followed the old Christian attempt to separate religion from politics by waxing poetic about the dangers of immanentizing the eschaton. Separating the world into two worlds was the way religious philosophers eventually dealt with the impossibility of everyone living as ascetics. This demonstrates the Gnosticism of Christianity because the Christian definition of life and God is dual, material and spiritual, rejecting materialism as Gnosticism does, even though philosophers like Thomas Aquinas made valiant attempts to reconcile and rationalize living in the material world along with spiritualism and asceticism.

Progress” should not be a dirty word for conservatives, that attitude was founded in the metaphysical error of defining God as non-material. Precisely contrary to Eric Vogelin's poetic phrase of rejection, “immanentizing the eschaton” is how we progress toward real Godhood by way of material and supermaterial evolution.

Real conservatism is the response of real human nature to change. Conservatism is not anti-modern, it is against radical social attempts to go against real human nature. But conservatism does not go deep enough into the biological origin of social behavior, which develops cultures and religions to enhance survival and reproduction.

Group-selection, which has been primarily ethnic selection, is the central unit of selection in human behavior, and then secondarily individual selection creates the complicated push and pull of human behavior, which was recently reaffirmed by the great E. O. Wilson.

Conservative's do not have to reject the Enlightenment, or the idea of progress, but they need to see the sacred definition of progress as the material evolution of life ascending toward Godhood.

Human nature can change, but only very gradually, progress happens by conservatively keeping the best of the past as we materially evolve toward supermaterial Godhood.

The Great Spiritual Blockade against our material evolution to supermaterial Godhood needs to be unblocked. The old internal experience of God can be retained but is now seen as the Godhood externally reached in material evolution.

Politically and culturally I believe this leads toward ethnostates and ethnopluralism, which harmonizes best with the group-selection and kin-selection preferences of human nature. That is, we need the separation of powers and states to move toward ethnostates, with ethnic cultures protected by some sort of federalism---the U.S. Constitution could this way be extended.

We can then avail ourselves of future international research centers designed to help all states and ethnic cultures immanentize the eschaton, with the variety which evolution prefers best.

Religion, philosophy, science, politics do not need to be separated, which has made both religion and politics spiritually and materially weak. The call is for variety, decentralization, ethnostates, ethnopluralism, federalism, and the religious philosophy of theological materialism as the best long-term means of evolving as many of us forward as possible toward ascending levels of Godhood.

The sacred path of naturalism

Just the word “eugenics” scares people today. The Oxford dictionary defines it as “the science of improving a human population by controlled breeding to increase the occurrence of desirable heritable characteristics, developed largely by Francis Galton as a method of improving the human race---it fell into disfavor only after the perversion of its doctrines by the Nazis.” Eugenics was suggested by Plato, Campenella, Galton, and Cattell, among others.

The idea to begin with was to attain obvious good genetic mutations, and as few as possible obvious bad mutations. Technology is now able to direct us more precisely away from negative traits and proceed toward choosing the most obvious positive traits.

It can be organized by sociobiologists, geneticists, bio-engineers, theological materialists, etc. to aid and guide people in ongoing research centers, open to everyone, every ethnic group, every state. Raymond Cattell did much forward thinking on this subject.

Evolution moves inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms, all the way to ever-ascending levels of Godhood. Eugenics can help us to get in harmony with this sacred path of naturalism.

I think of eugenics as all voluntary, never imposed by church or state, and as continuously seeking the true, the good, and the beautiful, but defining these things materially and super-materially, and reaching these things through material and supermaterial evolution. Reaching Godhood requires a sacred biology, a sacred eugenics. Most essentially my eugenics is grounded in the religious philosophy of theological materialism.

It is not enough to speak only of reviving the spirit of the gentleman and religion

Edmund Burke's writings against the French revolution probably had much to do with saving England from the revolution. He said the spirit of the gentleman and the spirit of religion made the civilization of Europe, which the revolution wanted to tear down. It was also a class or caste thing in England of Burke's time with most gentleman existing in the upper classes.

But how much of that spirit of the gentleman and spirit of religion was genetic in origin, since biology is at the deeper origin of our social behavior? Yes, there is a co-evolution between genes and culture but biology is the hardware, culture is the software. As John Cacioppo said, “The genes are like the keyboard on which the song of life is played, but the pianist is the social environment.”

I see the spirit of the gentleman grounded in the warrior and softened or civilized by religion, almost the way women tend to civilize men. But the balance here is important, go too far taking the warrior out of man and the society is vulnerable to other marauding warriors.

Today what is left of the spirit of the gentleman and the spirit of religion are in the process of being destroyed, again. It is not only an attack similar to the attacks of the French revolution, this time self-immolation or suicide is involved, we are not even breeding faster than we are dying. Europe and America are opening their borders (and thighs) to anyone from anywhere. It's even against the law now in many places to speak of saving the white race.

With the help of radical feminism, minorities, and the cheering leftist Media we have gone too far in taking the man out of man, not realizing or not caring that taking the gentleman warrior out of man leaves us and our societies virtually undefended against men who do not behave like European or American gentleman.

Conservatism should be concerned with conserving the genes of Europe and America which in the deepest sense were responsible for the spirit of the gentleman and the spirit of religion that made the civilization of Europe and America...It is not enough to speak only of reviving the spirit of the gentleman and religion.

The purpose of art is tied to the biological origin of social behavior which developed the moral imagination

If we deepen the term “moral imagination” by Burke and Kirk we arrive at the biological origin of social behavior, which includes the moral imagination, and that is where art philosophy begins.

Looking through the history of art and literature most people agree that the greatest art is an affirmation of what the people and the society hold sacred. For example, structures of architecture could be thought of as very large sculptures which display in their form what the people and the society hold sacred. If the architect and the society reject traditional values and morals, as modern architecture tends to do, then the architecture reflects that, which many people think makes ugly architecture and ugly art.

Thinking of great art as an affirmation of what the people and the society hold sacred, we can also see that what the people and the society hold sacred also tends to affirm real human nature. That is, tradition usually relates closely to the sociobiological definition of human nature as being kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection.

The purpose of art in the deep sense is tied to the biological origin of social behavior which developed the “permanent things” and the “moral imagination” of Burke and Kirk. That is how great art can arrive at the affirmation of a specific people, ethnic groups, cultures, and societies, which we see in different religious art and national art.

But all great art shares the same affirmation of what the people and the society hold sacred, and what is sacred is related to real human nature, the biological origin of social behavior, and the survival and reproductive drives.

Modern and postmodern art reflects ugliness, decadence, and degeneration because it spends most of its time both rejecting the affirmation of the sacred and attacking real human nature.

No psychologically healthy person would call it “hate” when a person applauds and defends their own ethnic group and its history

No psychologically healthy person would call it “hate” when a person applauds and defends their own ethnic group and its history, but that is what many liberal whites are saying about whites who defend whites. And the liberals are doing even more, they are championing other ethnic groups and races even as they attack their own ethnic group.

Show business and Hollywood are increasingly showing nonwhites as heroes and whites as villains. White men and boys now watch professional sports dominated by nonwhites and are encouraged to admire them. Beauty contests are now being won by nonwhite women. And this is synchronized with what our schools are teaching us about evil white history...This is being thrown at the ethnic group who largely created the Western world!

I am not saying that nonwhites are wrong or evil to advance their own ethnic group or wrong to try to be successful in survival and reproduction, they are healthy to do so. What I am saying is that liberal whites are psychologically unhealthy when they call it “hate” for whites to applaud and defend their own ethnic group and its history. Human nature has been affirmed throughout human history to this day as being basically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection.

Some bold men have been comparing what the liberals are doing to cuckoldry, the term used in evolutionary biology for males who are unwittingly investing parental effort in offspring that are not genetically their own.

Those who promote the hatred of whites by whites in the Media are the most responsible for the growing hatred of whites, and they are responsible for whites unwittingly investing in and applauding groups that are not genetically or culturally their own. In doing so the Media, of course, advances themselves and their own ethnic group.

Such is life in the West today...

A “nation” is really an ethnostate

According to various dictionaries "nation" is nacion (old French) birth, descendants, relatives, from Latin nationem, natio, breed, stock, race of people, tribe, from PIE root *gene, referring to procreation, familial and tribal groups.

The Founders of the U. S. seemed to have assumed that the America would be a nation of English immigrants, or at least Northern Europeans; apparently they instinctively knew that was the most natural way to assimilate into a new nation. And so America was for a time a real “nation” (at the expense of the Native American “Indians”). But over time due to plain ignorance, and later due to ideological mumbo jumbo, as well as various diverse racial wills to power, the U. S. became a multicultural, multi-ethnic, multi-racial empire, and no-longer a "nation."

America became instead a motley polyglot empire of competing ethnic groups, each with their own genetic traits, their own cultural behavior, and their own agendas. The Establishment encouraged this motley polyglot population and made strong attempts to remove the instincts of ethnic identity, without much success, as social disruptions from ethnic conflicts have increased.

The Constitutional separation of powers and states was mainly meant to keep one power from imperially ruling everyone else, as the English kings did, who the Founder's escaped from. Wouldn't it have been prescient of the Founders if they had foreseen that the states could become ethnostates as regions to calm the inevitable future battles between naturally competing ethnic groups, as the result of stupid immigration policies?

That can still be done. Our federalism could protect an ethnopluralism of ethnostates from marauding imperialists and supremacists. We can save the US from the fate of all empires by working within the system to transform it, as mentioned here yesterday.

Why we need to work within the system to transform it

When I think how rapidly the left “marched thorough the institutions,” as Gramsci called it, from the 1960's to today, transforming America and the West from a generally traditional conservative culture to a hedonistic, abortion-loving, drug-taking, sex changing, white-hating, leftist culture, in a very short time, it gives me hope that a countermarch thorough the institutions can take place.

Then comes the sobering realization that the very fast moving leftist march to destroy traditional conservative culture had the media, the schools, and politicians, and even the church on their side, and of course big business could care less about anything but making money. Damn! The paleoconservatives have nothing like that kind of support, and the deeply-conservative movement toward an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, which I support, has far less approval.

And it's stunning to realize that the left “marched thorough the institutions” pushing a social philosophy that has virtually no connection to real human nature, which remains as it has always been, kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection.

That should give us hope. But the radicals don't think so, they look at the support the left had/has and they say forget it, how can we work within that overwhelmingly dominant system? I know the feeling, I used to think that way too. But the left asked the same question back before they launched their cultural destruction, and most of them worked within the system---the radicals were arrested or killed.

So we need to work within the system to transform it. I believe ethnostates are the best political configuration for humans beings to live within, given real human nature. An ethnopluralism of ethnostates or regions could be established, legally, in the United States by way of our constitutional separation of powers and states, protected by federalism. It may require a few constitutional amendments to give more power to the states, and it will not be easy at all, but it is far preferable to radical Marxism or Fascism, or the degenerate political left we have today, which has brought us civil disruptions, even civil war, and a hedonistic, abortion-loving, drug-taking, sex changing, white-hating, leftist culture, within unworkable multicultural (multi-ethnic) societies.

The leap too far and bringing Godhood back to reality

The times of Homer were more right philosophically than the times of Plato in seeing the life-force depart with death, extended only with reputation and material offspring. The life of the non-material transcendent soul, the “leap of being,” was a leap too far.

But this does not mean that Godhood and order are lost, far from it, the evolution of material life to ever-ascending levels of Godhood brings Godhood back to reality, back to the natural world, back to philosophical naturalism (see theological materialism).  It will require all the real conservative order, all the bonding of religion, all the discoveries of science that we can muster to retain the best of the past as we continually evolve toward the future.

Audacious as it sounds, the death of religion, the death of God, the death of order, the death of the West, the death of Western people, need not advance if we can transform outworn, non-material, theological spiritualism into theological materialism.

Modern culture has buried the biological origin of social behavior: why?

Modern culture has buried the biological origin of social behavior. Think of that: buried. There is virtually no mention of it in political philosophy today.

Yes, there is a co-evolution between biology and culture, but “biology is the hardware, culture is the software.” We don't even hear that mentioned much and it certainly doesn't condone burying biology in the glut of freaked out cultural software.

So why has the biological origin of social behavior been buried? Mainly because it is thought to not enhance the biological and social power of those who bury it for that reason.

The fascists affirmed the biological origin of social behavior but then they demeaned it by including crude supremacist values for only one chosen people. World War Two ended 74 years ago but the Big Media and the schools today make it look like the fascists were defeated yesterday and could rise at any minute. That is resentment toward a defeated foe on a grand but degenerate level, and unworthy of a noble people.

Modern culture and modern trends reek of an entirely fictionalized view of human nature that buries real human nature as the will power of those who bury it. Human nature  remains as it has always been: genetically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection.

The separation of powers and states enshrined in the US Constitution could be the best way to save whites and white culture

Our choice in politicians continues to be between fools in touch with their conservative instincts and fools not in touch with their conservative instincts. This is also reflected in the people, those most brainwashed by the Media and the schools, and those less brainwashed.

The Media, the schools, big business, and the politicians have complete control over us in unanimously declaring that only Nazis are concerned with saving whites and white culture.

Many conservative's have confirmed the idea of universalism and the sameness of all ethnic groups under God, and that religious edict is exploited by the Media, the schools, big business, and the politicians to signify that saving whites and saving white culture is not only racist but is unchristian.

The nefarious objection to saving whites and white culture runs deep even the academic and scientific world where there is bias against real white genetic and cultural history.

Why does the idea or movement to save whites and white culture threaten these people? It threatens whites for fear of losing their jobs if they even mention saving whites and white culture, and it threatens nonwhites and nonchristians for fear of being left out of a culture that approves of white culture.

The Big Media is especially virulent against the subject of saving whites and saving white culture, they are the ones who keep the holocaust of World War Two as an ever ready weapon against anyone who dares to mention saving whites and saving white culture.

The problem is that this blockade against whites and white culture builds in intensity and results in the growth of radicals and hot heads who are willing to throw away past white history and white culture in their attempt to save whites and white culture.

The separation of powers and states enshrined in the US Constitution could be the best way to save whites and white culture, by developing ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, without using illegal or radical methods. It would first require reaffirming and even expanding the power of the states and the principle of states rights and federalism, and understanding that ethnostates are the most natural political configuration for kin-centered and ethnic-centered human nature.

It will require heroes and martyrs to save whites and white culture, but this knowledge is slowly, naturally, coming forward in spite of the corrupt Media, the schools, big business, and the politicians.

I assume it's about over for the conservative people and culture of the United States, the question is what to do about it?

I assume it's about over for the conservative people and culture of the United States; Big Business, the Big Media, the academic world, and venal politicians have destroyed us, or I should say those who control these things have destroyed us. The question is what to do about it?

Radical revolution doesn't appeal to my sense of the reality of human nature and the world. We will need to build on what we have and try to conserve the best of the past. The separation of powers and states enshrined in the US Constitution may be the best way to reaffirm and even expand the power of the states and the principle of states rights and federalism; the Constitution now says that the federal government possesses only those powers delegated to it by the United States Constitution, all remaining powers are reserved for the states or the people.

From this base we can develop ethnostates, and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, legally without radical methods, in harmony with real kin-centered and ethnic-centered human nature. That is the best way to calm the increasingly violent but predictable competitive battles we are now having between distinctively different ethnic groups, races and cultures, which we foolishly tried to jam together in the same living space, at the pernicious insistence of Big Business, the Big Media, the academic world, and venal politicians.

That is the basic solution to the destruction of the conservative people and culture of the United States. A few people in the beleaguered Alt-right agree with the ethnostate solution, but not always on the methods. Nothing else makes instinctive or rational sense given that human nature remains basically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection.

Naturalistically defining the long-term order that we ultimately require

Conservatives rightly tell us of the importance of order in human affairs, and they add that political order ultimately requires order in the soul. Before we talk of the mysterious order of the soul, which is nebulous, mysterious, impractical, and even at odds with down-to-earth conservatism, a better guide in human affairs is harmonizing with the order of real human nature. Human nature tells us of our natural intentions and the biological origin of our social behavior,

In the 50/50? mix of nature and nurture in forming human nature, nature leads. Someone said, “Biology is the hardware, culture is the software.” We have freedom to choose, but between determined paths, and basic human nature is determinedly kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection.

This strongly suggests that order in human affairs is best found in ethnostates, and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. Ethnostates harmonize and synchronize with our natural intentions and the biological origin of our social behavior. What more could we ask for? What would be better? What makes more common sense?

As to the mysterious order of the soul I think more of how we are governed and activated from within to live and successfully survive and reproduce in every cell of the body, reacting and adapting to the various environments we live in. I think of how material life evolves toward the zenith of survival and reproductive success, which is supermaterial Godhood. That naturalistically defines the long-term order that we ultimately require. That defines deep-conservatism.
