Evolution is a product of life before life is a product of evolution. How is that? An organism
is both internally activated to evolve and externally activated to
evolve from environmental conditions. But it is first activated
internally to survive (but not spiritually) and then to somehow reproduce and evolve. Why?
Ultimate success, or the zenith of success, in survival, reproduction
and evolution leads to eternal (?) survival, reproduction,
and evolution, which defines Godhood. So that is how evolution is a
production of life seeking Godhood---which is also how religion
joins science.
