Ending Empires

Nations which resist Western (and increasingly Chinese) global business as being advanced troops out to swamp their own nations and cultures, are made out to be criminals and are conquered one way or another.

Empires do that sort of thing, not only business empires but religious and political empires, where some sort of universalism is claimed. Christianity did this, Islam does this, the international communism of Marx did this, and more recently neoconservatism did this too. It must be said that when Christ supposedly said "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations" he was mistaken in his universalism.

The universalism I recognize is the activation within life to materially evolve to supernatural Godhood. Evolution, selection, and human cultures work best in harmony with real human nature which remains kin-centered and ethnocentric, among other traditional things. That strongly suggests variety as well as an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, protected by a limited federalism---it certainly does not suggest nation-and-culture-destroying-empires. 

Of coarse, it is the empires that now have the power, but empires always fall do to their own corruption and disharmony, and that would include the Western and now Chinese empires. The Soviet empire already fell, after a very short and cruel life, although Putin seems to be trying to revive another empire.
