Comparing Men of Empire
I do not affirm empires, but if we
contrast the “gentleman” who ran the British empire of the 19th
century with the "neoconservatives" who largely run the declining American
empire of today, I think we can see reasons why the British empire
lasted twice as long as the American empire.
The British sent their sons to schools
to learn how to become gentleman. The Rugby tradition first taught religious and moral principles, second, “gentlemanly conduct,”
and third, intellectual ability. This led a boy to become a man who
Philip Mason defined as, “ jealous about his reputation in the eyes
of men, jealous about his integrity in his own eyes, and jealous
about his responsibility for those entrusted to his care.”
These ideals were not always lived up
to, and the schools were a long way from perfect, but these ideals
were adhered to enough to help maintain and manage the largest empire
in history for hundreds of years. As the gentleman declined the British empire declined.
Contrast this with the
neoconservatives whose conduct is destroying the American
empire. Generally speaking, the neoconservatives prefer cunning to
courage, dual loyalties take the place of patriotism, making money
selfishly is more important than moral principles, and the code of an
eye for an eye is preferred to the code of the gentleman.
The neoconservatives do not measure up to the gentleman of the British empire, and this has much to do
with why we are so quickly declining with uncalled-for wars,
financial criminality, and cultural degeneracy. A great nation
deserves better leaders.

The Flesh and the Word
The Word is considered immaterial and
spiritual by the Revealed Religions and so the idea that the Word was
made flesh was applied by great Christian sages in speaking of the
God Within.
The Word is heard in the Soul, at the
Zenith of the Mind, and is heard by ridding the body of the desires
of the flesh. It was the flesh that was really made word by the great
religious sages, rather than the word made flesh.
This caused the Great Spiritual Blockade to make the flesh into the Word by centering on the Soul and
its sacred emptiness. It is the Soul which we seek in the
Involutionary Inward Path leading to the Father Within and the Word
Within.
Seeing the Inward God of the
Involutionary Inward Path helped to define Godhood of the
Evolutionary Outward Path. The God first seen and given Word in the
Inward Path is reached in the Outward Path of evolution to Godhood. The Word is made supermaterial flesh.
Godhood is a Supremely Evolved Object, not merely the Word defining Godhood.
Godhood is a Supremely Evolved Object, not merely the Word defining Godhood.

Activation and formation
The supermaterial Spirit-Will is the
raw activation within the Primal Material which is then formed by material evolution. The
Spirit-Will knows its goal, which is Godhood, but evolution helps
decide the paths taken, upward, downward, sideways, and so on, but
ever upward. This is not unlike the nature/nurture balance of
biology as the raw material, which culture then molds. It is all on
an evolving material-supermaterial continuum from simple matter to
supermaterial Godhood.

Instincts Toward Rising or Falling?
With his usual hard realism, Raymond Cattell thought that there was an excess of primate sex and pugnacity
in human beings which were stronger drives than civilizing morals and
ethics, or our altruistic values, and that society must keep from decline as a consequence of selfish primate sex and pugnacity. Cattell thought
that countermeasures need to be taken to raise the level of both intelligence and character in society, and reduce the sociopathic and
psychotic instabilities in society.
Cattell never argued that there is a
predominance of genetics over education and culture but that genetics
was the raw material which culture molded. Cattell worried that man
may be genetically unadapted to a large altruistic society, yet man did have a natural tendency toward tenderness and protectiveness
and altruism toward kith and kin. This is one of the pillars of our political argument for localism and small states over large states:
localism and regionalism are the most natural way to hold
civilization together with altruistic group behavior, and better keep
us from the selfish anti-social behavior which happens in large
groups.
It remains politically incorrect to speak of these hard realities, but the sooner we get on with this the
better chance we have of rising rather than falling. We need to
increase the traits of intelligence, along with the character traits of effort, hard work, and honesty, which need to be rewarded and
expanded. Remember, Plato's guardians were selected by their
lack of interest in power, among other qualities. Also remember, we are evolving all the
way to Godhood, this requires Ordered Evolution and Revitalized Conservatism, which can keep us from self-destructing.

Can the connection between political power and wealth be broken?
Our democratic republican form of
government has become a cover-up for money power, which rules. Rather
than trying to throw away the system, we need to break up big
monopolies in all areas, in finance, the media, education, etc. Power needs to be given back to the individual states, within a light
federalism.
When human nature is allowed a bit of
freedom it forms itself in kin groups and ethnic groups and small
states. This needs to be allowed, we need to return to the original
American Constitution, and we need to emphasize the Tenth Amendment,
giving lost power back to the states.
It's not only bad education that has led
us to modern liberalism, with its big government legislating of cultural Marxism, human nature tends to deceive
itself with unreal ideas about human behavior, which avoids reality.
Wealth can more easily dominate politics by manipulating the
deceptions.
Can the connection between political
power and wealth be broken? It had better be done before too long or America and the
world will certainly be dragged down and destroyed.

The transcendental needs to be seen through evolution
The transcendental needs to be seen
through evolution, not through the disappearance of the living object.
The poet William Carlos Williams had a
poetic credo of no ideas except in things. This can be applied to
theology and philosophy, which get lost in abstractions and
definitions, that is, no Gods except in supreme supermaterial objects.
The mirror image is not as important as
the object mirrored. This seems to transvalue much of theology and
philosophy, which stem from a basic rejection of material
things in favor of immaterial things.
Godhood is supremely evolved to from
living material objects to supreme living supermaterial objects.
Traditional religion has seen Godhood mirrored inwardly, now it is time to evolve to real Godhood outwardly, while retaining the first inward vision.

Misrepresented Instincts
The instincts have been too often
misrepresented as only uncontrollable and evil, it has been thought that
to act instinctively is not to act rationally, the instincts have
been thought of as barbaric. But to follow the call of the
Spirit-Will, or the Will-To-Godhood, is to follow the Zenith of the
Instincts.
The superego does not hold the
instincts, or Id, in check, as Freud and others have suggested, the
ego and superego, with their realism and idealism, make the choice
between profane and sacred instincts, with the profane being
devolutionary and the sacred being evolutionary.
Evolution confirms the internal
commands of the instincts, and most importantly, attends the
activating commands of the Spirit-Will, or Will-To-Godhood. This can
involve reason as an aid to instinct and instinct as an aid to
reason. To follow the moral call of the Spirit-Will, which seeks to
evolve to Godhood, is a great moral act.

The decline of nations can be averted by decentralizing
One could almost believe that man is
not adapted to altruism, given his many selfish passions, but
completely contrary to the Randian neoconservatives, man and other
primates do have strong natural impulses and passions toward altruism, being
protective and sacrificial and even tender toward kin and group, as
Raymond Cattell, E.O.Wilson and others have pointed out. Altruism
worked fairly well for thousands of years when groups were small, but
with huge modern nations altruism does not work so well, allowing
selfish individuals and even sociopaths to come forward.
The qualities of altruism are, and can
be, both biologically and culturally transmitted. Small states
allowed to be different, and well protected by a light federalism, need to
be affirmed if we want to have the civilizing influence of altruism.
The decline of nations can be averted by decentralizing and
allowing natural altruism to come forward and be affirmed, biologically and culturally. The unreality and unnaturalness of other political systems needs to be exposed.

Truth is primarily in things
Truth is primarily in things, not in
the intellect. This is opposite the definition of St. Thomas. Truth
in the mind is a mirror or likeness of the thing known. Truth in the
mind is a lesser thing than the thing itself, opposite Plato. And
the “thing-in-itself” is not a non-material being. Truth in the
mind is based on the most accurate judgment of the reality of the
thing seen.
Theology and philosophy go off track
when they greatly devalue the actual thing, the actual object, which
then causes the belief in nothingness, the belief in mirror images in
the mind and not belief in the object that is mirrored. This
hypertrophies into defining God as a mirror image of material things
and not a real supreme object or objects.
Godhood is not merely a non-material
thing in the mind or in the Soul, Godhood is an actual supreme object
or objects evolved to in the cosmos. The God of the Involutionary Inward Path
is a mirror image of the Supreme Object Godhood evolved to over time
in the Evolutionary Outward Path. Both are retained in the Twofold Path of the Evolutionary Church.

The long term way out of cultural gridlock
Our cultural gridlock, the complete
halting of our overloaded system, is the natural outcome of trying to
turn a formerly European and Christian nation into a nation of all
religions, all cultures, all ethnic groups. Human nature simply does
not melt that way, people always prefer their own culture.
But all is not lost. The way out of
our cultural gridlock is not to demand more of the same cultural Marxism, which attempted to make us all get along by trying unsuccessfully to
destroy all our differences.
The way out of our cultural gridlock is
to reaffirm the independent small states and regions of America, which were intended by our original Constitution. We are lucky to have this legal way out of our difficulties. We
need to reaffirm the 10th Amendment. Each state and
region can be as different as they choose to be, protected by a light
federalism.
Of course, even the lightest protective
federalism is not easy, it is never easy to keep our differences from
boiling over, which is why it is so important to separate our
differences in small states and regions---unless we want one of the bad “isms:”
imperialism, Marxism or fascism, which cause more problems than they may temporarily solve.
And I dare say that a Europe, Russia
and China of thousands of states is the long term way to deal with their
differences as well. Then we can all get on with the sacred task of
evolving outward into the cosmos.

Differences With Nietzsche
Nietzsche was a powerful, if neurotic, thinker and his integrity was such that as the ultimate
intellectual he could say, it takes more courage than
intelligence to find the truth.
Nietzsche was in some ways the father
of the bio-social thinking of present day sociobiology, which I
affirm, but Nietzsche was also the father of the relativity of morals in
modern philosophy, which I do not affirm.
Nietzsche's will-to-power was goalless,
although it led to supermen, but they were also also goalless. The Spirit-Will
of the Evolutionary Church (EC) is also called the
Will-to-Godhood, and unlike Nietzsche's will-to-power it has a
sacred goal.
The radicalism of Nietzsche, and of
modern philosophy---and modern art---mainly rejects the past, and rejects tradition, which is a sociobiological mistake. The new needs to be
included in the old if there is to be life at all. This is
affirmed in the Twofold Path of EC, where the Inward Path leads to
the inward God first seen in traditional religion, and the Outward Path leads to
the outward Godhood now seen in material evolution. Here old and new, religion and
science, can finally make friends.
The superman of Nietzsche, like the
later Beyondism of Cattell (another courageous thinker), is not
enough. There is a goal to the primal power drive, which is why the
Spirit-Will is defined as the Will to Godhood and not the will to
power. Nietzsche was a radical, even if his was an aristocratic
radicalism, and this radicalism leads to the problems of
imperialism and chosenness-supremacy, which leads to chaotic war, and war tends to stop all
evolution---like upsetting the great game table of Ordered Evolution because you can't play the game well.
All men are activated by the Spirit-Will within, or the Will-To Godhood, to
evolve toward eternal representation, or Godhood, and this motivates survival and reproduction and all cultural creations,
unconsciously or consciously. The practical way, and the moral way,
to accommodate the Spirit-Will, for all men,
all ethnic groups, is to establish, or reestablish, virtually independent
small states, where continuing evolution can be more quickly and
easily reflected, protected against imperialism by a light federalism, and guided by the
Church.

What can we do about the media?
The big monopoly media in this country
has been increasingly like an invading hostile force undermining
traditional Western values, but how can we change the power game in
full control?
Life is preferable to death. A nation
cannot survive when its media is busy destroying its values. As we
increasingly promote the move back to the original small state power
of the original Constitution, we can also promote a breakup of the
monopoly media into smaller units.
Bigness does not work well biosocially,
bigness causes what Cattell called the “altruism drain,”
individuals who sacrifice gradually lose out to selfish and
parasitical individuals, that is, the return rewards of mutual love
and self-sacrifice only benefits individuals and groups in smaller
units.

Everyone wants to be affiliated with the original religious source
It's frustrating, although kind of fun,
to speculate on the origin of religions.
For example, Moses seems to have left a
mystery oral tradition, along with the written testament, which
included the mysteries of Ancient Egypt, from which Moses was an
initiate. This ancient oral tradition was carried on by rabbis,
and wasn't written down until later, after the death of Christ.
And these Egyptian mysteries were also connected to the Ancient Sumerian mysteries from which they may have derived.
The mysteries were supposedly then
carried to Greece, where the truths of Plato, according to the Neoplatonists, were based on occult
Pythagorean mysteries from Egypt.
But then a similar mystery tradition is
found in the East in Ancient India, as old or older that the
Egyptian, from which the Egyptian religion may have derived, or vice versa. This Indian/Persian tradition traces the mystery back to
“Hyperboria,” an ancient home in the north.
Some think primitive stone age men were
handed the mysteries by visiting extra terrestrial beings. It is
thought that there are at least ten million intelligent
civilizations in our galaxy alone.
I hypothesize that the mysteries
originally derived from one of the migrating waves of Cro Magnons arriving in places like Ancient
Sumer, and Eurasia, which could tie in with the Hyperborian myth and
ancient anthropological prehistory.
Will we ever know for sure? Bias comes
in where sacred religions or ethnic origins are involved, especially
when they are thought to come from God Himself. Everyone wants to be affiliated with the original religious source.

Hypothesis On The Psychobiological Dynamic
The Spirit-Will which activates our
“unconscious” mind has not been readily accessible to our
conscious mind. Our conscious mind and our culture have been far
away from the unconscious Spirit-Will, which influences all life and
all culture.
Freud's sex-instinct is subordinate to
the Spirit-Will, the Spirit-Will rides the vehicle of material
reproduction to supermaterial Godhood through evolution. And
Nietzsche's power-instinct is subordinate to the purpose behind
attaining power, the evolution to Godhood. And Jung's goal of
internal and external individual psychological harmony is superseded
by the goal of psychobiological and sociobiological harmony in evolving
to external supermaterial Godhood. The task is to get the
unconscious, consciousness and culture alined with the goal of the
Spirit-Will.
The "superego" has not deteriorated, it
has followed less harmonious psychobiological dynamics. The superego involves establishing the realization and affirmation
of the goal of evolving to Godhood within the morals, virtues and
values of the culture. The healthiest individuals and the healthiest
societies confirm and conform to the internal activation of the Spirit-Will.
We are returning to the source of the
superego. The difficulty in attuning ourselves and our societies to
this ideal is the great challenge. The superego is not all reason,
it is reason informed by intellectual intuition, or faith, in the
Spirit-Will. Here religious bonding ceremonies are important in
establishing or reestablishing the source of the superego in the
Spirit-Will.
Human beings are capable of such great
challenges, it makes life exciting and adventurous, and it gives meaning to life.

Religion, Evolution and the Spirit-Will
All life seeks to replicate or
reproduce itself, and life seeks successful representation. Ideally, life seeks eternal representation. This
seeking comes from the activation of the Spirit-Will, which activates
life from the inside, working with evolution from the outside. The eternal representation sought by
the Spirit-Will helps defines Godhood.
Not all life forms can aid the
Spirit-Will in its quest for Godhood, but human beings have the
capacity and potential consciousness to do this. When conscious of
the Spirit-Will and its goal, human beings can affirm and advance
toward Godhood, by evolving higher and higher consciousness and
intelligence, and toward more and more beauty, with more successful species moving toward this goal,
the true sacred goal of life, which is Godhood.
This is the mission, to unblock the
Great Spiritual Blockade against material life evolving to
supermaterial life and Godhood. This is the God first seen in
traditional Christianity, and other Revealed Religions, now seen
outwardly as well as inwardly in the Twofold Path of the Theoevolutionary Church. This is how Christianity, and religion in general,
can continue into the future, with an Ordered Evolution and a Revitalized Conservatism.

Reevaluating the Id, Ego and Superego
It is thought in psychoanalysis that the id makes
irrational and brutal assaults on the poor ego which innocently only
seeks what Cattell calls “hard realism,” and the id is also seen
as an assault on superego demands for virtues and morals.
I suggest that the id is grounded in
the sacred Spirit-Will which seeks Godhood, and I suggest that the id
is not merely an evil, Dionysian, chaotic drive. The id is in its
essence civilizing the beast.
This would suggest that the ego and
superego should work in harmony with the id, virtues and morals need
to reflect the highest goal of life, which seeks to evolve to
Godhood, from the material to the supermaterial.
Evolution, natural selection and basic
human nature are driven by the instinctive and genetic desire to
successfully survive and reproduce, but these are driven by the
deeper desire of the Spirit-Will-id to evolve to Godhood.
The problem then would come from
misinterpretations of the id. The hard realism of the ego can accept
the reality of the activation of the Spirit-Will-id, and the superego
can affirm virtues and morals that work in harmony with the
will-to-Godhood of the Spirit-Will.
This would also reflect in the freedom/determinism debate as mankind having some choices in a path that is nevertheless determined, like a boulder rolling down a mountainside.
The ego and superego are required as a
civilizing force on the id---like riding a somewhat wild horse that more or less knows the basic direction it wants to go---by
separating sacred from profane interpretations of the id, by
identifying the Path to Godhood from devolutionary disordered
impulses.

Agreements And Differences With Conservatism
We have more in common with
Paleoconservatism than with Traditional Conservatism, although they
are similar in many areas. We do not like abstract principles
presented without connection to sociobiological roots. Freedoms can
only take place if they are rooted in human nature.
Ours is a value system that is not so
much “historicism” (the worthy idea that historical circumstances
set values) as it is sociobiological, the idea that their exits a
biological origin to social behavior which has been ignored in the
modern world.
But we believe that sociobiological
forces are grounded in the universal imperative of the Spirit-Will
within life which helps activate life to evolve to Godhood. This is
the real reason why religion is, and needs to be, at the heart of every
culture and civilization.
Human nature is rooted in the family, selection takes place at the group level, and ethnic level,
and individual selection follows in the wake of group selection.
This is the main justification for affirming decentralization, small
independent states, and localism.
Humans tend to favor their own people,
we feel more altruistic toward those who share our genes. There are
really no big boundaries between extended families and ethnic groups.
Ethnic groups are extremely extended families. As Steve Sailor points
out, ethnic nepotism is about as strong a bond as the uncle-nephew
bond.
We agree with classical conservatism
that human societies are naturally hierarchical, involving various
classes and categories. Hierarchy allows for the preservation of of
the whole community, not protecting only one elite or proletariat
group at the expense of the others.
We affirm “federalism” defined by
the international definition of federalism, which is defined as “anti-federalism” by many Paleoconservatives in America. But this also
means a federalism given the power to put up national tariffs or
value added taxes against foreign imports to protect manufacturing in
the independent states of the nation.
We repudiate the prevailing Cultural Marxism which believes that culture creates man, not man creates
culture. Cultural Marxism, socialism and existentialism believe that
there is no inherent biological human nature, so they stand against
governments or religions based in human nature.
Our worldview retains many
conservative ideas and principles, with several important
differences. Humanity is “imperfect” and “flawed” not
because of original sin but because humanity is still on the path of
higher evolution to Godhood.
The Twofold Path of the Theoevolutionary Church connects us to Western Christianity and Eastern religions. We evolve in the Evolutionary Outward Path to the
God first seen in the Involutionary Inward Path of Traditional
Religions.
For the Theoevolutionary Church
the universal imperative that bonds human beings is the Spirit-Will
within life which activates life to evolve to Godhood in the cosmos,
working along with natural selection from the outside. This is the transcendent moral order which grounds our sociobiological social
philosophy. We affirm an Ordered Evolution to Godhood applying
Revitalized Conservatism.

More Agreements And Differences With Conservatism
While
we do downplay the notions of individualism, liberalism and
modernism, we believe in the Enlightenment,
and in progress, based in the transcendent order of evolving to
Godhood, which is the ultimate “progress.”
Intellectual
intuition can inform reason and reason can inform intellectual
intuition, as we seek to order ourselves in the world. We do not
leave out sociobiological imperatives (as natural law) when we think
of the organization of society. Religion and science can work
together in the sacred mission of the evolution to Godhood, which
defines the transcendent moral order.
Preserving
the natural world is highly valued in the Theoevolutionary Church (TC), whether one is speaking of urban life or the agrarian
life.
We
do not only defend High Culture but also low culture and popular
culture. We believe that the affirmation of the sacred can run
through all degrees of refinement, low to high, the difference is in
the degrees of refinement. Profane and vulgar art is defined as
having no connection to the sacred, or as only an attack on the
sacred, with no socially redeeming replacement.
Comparing
patriotism and nationalism, it is completely natural to have
stronger loyalties to a locality, a region, or a specific people.
Loyalty to the larger national identity, and then to the world,
follows naturally, but with less strength. This needs to be taken
into account by utopian internationalists. Small states,
regions and ethnic groups need to be allowed to evolve in
their own way. We believe human beings are capable of
what Raymond
Cattell called
cooperative competition.
The Edmund
Burke conception
of “Ordered Liberty” is not enough, we require Ordered
Evolution,
since we will not remain as we are permanently, we are evolving to
Godhood in the cosmos, beyond the human species. However, we need to
advance with an Ordered Evolution. Radicalism and revolution destroy
the the order upon which evolving life depends, as pointed out
eloquently by Burke, andRussell
Kirk in
our own time.
We
do criticize “cash nexus” consumerism, and "greed is good"
libertarianism, but we don't condemn “materialism.” Materialism
is the vehicle of our evolution to Godhood, as affirmed
in Theological
Materialism.
Economic gain is not the most important social activity, evolution
is. This informs our attitude toward ethnic and class differences as
well. We support the affirmation of the sacred for all people. In
affirming federalism, we affirm local economies, small business,
craftsmen, and artists. Big business and big government always
become totalitarian.
We
like meritocracy more than aristocracy. We need to find the best in
all areas, and the best can come from anywhere. All classes, all
ethnic groups are encouraged to improve culturally and genetically.
We are all evolving to Godhood, not just one people. We do not have
an exact political model but we think people are best guided by a
meritocracy which affirms Traditional Revitalized
Conservatismand Ordered
Evolution.
Men
and women are sociobiologically different and attempting to engineer
gender equality is a nightmare. Certainly there should be equal pay
for equal work, but gender differences are beautiful differences
that are resolved in loving marriages.
Neoconservatism advocates
conservative-like ideas but neoconservatives turn out not to be very
conservative. Neoconservatism is an imperial force breaking down
borders and natural differences. Many neocons were former Marxists
and they have not lost their taste for dictatorship of the
proletariat.

Negative Change Exploited
A wise old politically incorrect idea
says that as the ethnic group changes the culture changes, whereas
cultural Marxism--the brainwashing of the modern world--says that
culture creates people and people are infinitely malleable by
culture.
How it really works is that genetic
patterns affect the acceptance of culture, and cultural patterns help
mold genetic pools. As Raymond Cattell and Edward O. Wilson said,
ethical laws can be seen as a hierarchy of object loyalties, moving
from strong ethics for a specific group to weaker universal ethics.
The latest nefarious scheme by Senator Chuck Schumer and his cohorts is to allow visitor visas for all
foreigners from anywhere as long as they agree to buy a home in
America. It looks like it may pass in the Congress. The financial
world likes it too because their ruling ethic is that greed is good.
This is depressing as well as
dangerous. Paleoconservatives seem powerless to change things
at this time. We are to have a nation ruled by people who exploit
the polyglot nation that they create, at least until it falls apart from
its own multiculturalism.
But people always eventually return to
small states and regions bonded by ethical-cultural solidarity, where real evolutionary change happens. Let
us make sure that the original United States Constitution is there to
pick up the pieces, with independent states protected by a light
federalism. It may not be pretty getting from here to there.

Why do adults no longer act like adults?
This question leads to another questions:
how do you define adult?
Traditionally an adult was more or less defined as
someone who followed such religious virtues as mutual love and
self-sacrifice for the greater good. These values have been eroding
faster than ever before. The teenagers of the hedonistic 1960's
became parents who still smoke marijuana on weekends, and go to
church, if at all, only on special holidays.
In a very short time the hedonism of
the 1960's became the narcissism of reality shows and the arrested
development of hip hop, which were strongly promoted by the media.
When television or the movies do make little token bows to morality
it is usually the values of cultural Marxism that are promoted, which
try to impose political correctness with little resemblance to real
human nature.
How did religious values erode so
quickly? The popular media and the academic world have become
increasingly anti-religion and specifically anti-Christian in the
West. Christian religious values are virtually seen as the enemy in
most movies and television shows. And the academic world continues
to propagandize our children with cultural Marxism.
Cultural Marxism includes not only the
censorship of political correctness but the destruction of family,
male against female, a culture of victimhood, class against class,
debasement of privacy, concentration of power in big government, power
to a Marxist elite, and on and on and on.
I hold the media and the academic world
mainly responsible for why adults no longer act like adults. Parents
are no match for the destruction of morals and values by the popular
media and the academic world. We see the proof of this all around us.
What can we do about it? We need to
take back the media and the academic world by breaking up their
monopolies and by decentralizing to small states---that is, multiple
small states and regions, each with their own ethic flavor, which
relates to true human nature, unlike the futile attempts at
multi-culturalism within one universal state (which is mostly anti-white-Christian). This is not an easy
task now, but it may one day be like pushing down a rotten door. The foundation for independent small states and regions even exists basically in the original Constitution of the United States.

Objects and symbols of objects
Objects take precedence over
mathematics, definitions, and denotations of objects. The virtual worship of
symbols goes way back, further back then Pythagoras. Priests,
philosophers, intellectuals and scientists have bedazzled with
numbers to the point where objects, even human beings, become only
symbols.
This worship of symbolism is the base
of spiritualism and even the base of modern materialism. Advanced
mathematics, for example, has led to inventions that have both
greatly helped and hurt humanity. Now the evolution of technology is
promoted in trans-humanism and robotics rather than bio-genetic evolution, which is again the worship of advanced symbols rather than
real living objects.
The material world can be reduced down to quantum levels, and then, mathematically at least, reduced
further down to the many extremely small dimensions of string theory,
even so, we cannot mathematically worship the atoms or vibrations of material
objects over phenomenal, living, human, objects themselves.
This ancient duality of
spiritual-symbol/material-object can be united in Theological Materialism, which places the spiritual in the Involutionary Inward
Path and the material in the Evolutionary Outward Path, and then
includes both in the Twofold Path of the the Theoevolutionary Church (TC). The theological materialism of the Outward Path includes yet
goes beyond the Inward Path. The God seen in the Inward Path is the
God reached in the Outward Path.
Godhood is a Supreme Object and no
longer needs to be only a symbol or inner vision-experience of the
Soul. Life evolves from the Primal Materiel to the Supreme
Supermaterial. We are all evolving material objects and need to be understood
as evolving to Supermaterial Godhood, activated by the Spirit-Will
within. It is time to unblock the Great Spiritual Blockade against the real world of living, evolving, material objects.

On Ethnicity
We all need to abandon hatred of other
ethnic groups, there are no bad or good groups, there is only good
and bad social strategies for living with ethnic groups.
It is vitally important to see human
nature as it really is, basic human nature cannot be bypassed without
paying a heavy price. Ethnic groups are important, love of ones own
people is deeply ingrained in human nature, and this can be
universally affirmed.
When imperialism and supremacy place
divinity on any one people it is the cause of many problems. We are
all evolving to divinity and none of us have yet reached divinity. It
is not ethnicity that is evil, it is imperialism and supremacy that
are the true enemy.
Group selection is universally seen at
the origin of ethics and morality, creating such universal virtues as
mutual love and self-sacrifice, which allowed groups to survive in a
difficult world. Different ethnic groups have different cultural
strategies, and these differences can be accommodated in small states
protected by a light federalism, and guided in evolution,
voluntarily, by the Church.
Wars are usually fought to regain an
ethnic sovereignty which was taken away by imperialism or supremacy. Imperialism always breaks apart. War is dysgenic and stops Ordered Evolution. Groups can learn
survival and evolutionary strategies from one another. Our survival
on earth now probably depends on this civilized behavior.

Deflating the power of secret societies
Will the truth about the origin of
human civilizations ever surface, and if so how will we recognize it
among the untruths and half truths of the specialists. Perhaps bias
is built into human nature in service to the will-to power?
My hypothesis is that the ancient
Sumerian-Egyptian civilizations were not the origin of the
Indo-European civilization, but that it was late migrating Cro
Magnons or Proto-Indo-Europeans who were the origin of both the
Indo-European and Sumerian civilizations. How the geographical
migrations took place is not clear, from the North, from East to
West, or some combination of these?
If Cro Magnons founded these ancient civilizations then the myths and symbols of
these civilizations are untrue or inaccurate. For example, occult knowledge in formerly secret societies has said that these civilizations were founded by amphibian-like beings
from the Sirius star system.
Here is why it matters. If we are
trying to decentralize the world to save the world, this can mean
decentralizing the secret society-occult structure, which is
more or less based in this Sumerian-Egyptian-Sirius myth---that is,
the Neo-Platonic-Gnostic-Hermetic-Kabbalistic-Rosicrucian-Masonic
traditions follow this mythology.
The truth can deflate the power of
these secret societies, and secret societies and occult religions seem to be more, or less, involved in imperialism and supremacism in the world today.

On Conspiracies
I assume that private power has had
control over political institutions more or less for some time.
Private fortunes have outstripped public governments, and private
corporations provide money to politicians who then represent them.
But is this a “conspiracy,” and if so what kind of conspiracy
is it?
It appears to be more like several
powerful independent groups conspiring together, and going in the
same direction, but going in the same direction only as long as it
serves the individual group. Meanwhile competition between the
groups continues. Individual groups with ethnic connections as well
as economic connections seem to have stronger bonds and more success
than groups with only economic connections. The biggest problem
comes from imperialism and the supremacy of one group over the
others.
The solution to imperialism and
supremacy is for people to demand decentralization, small separate
states, with their independence protected by a light federalism.
I don't see the individualism of libertarianism as the way to go.
Ethics and morals have always been created by the group ethics of
mutual love and self-sacrifice, not by individualism.
Powerful men need to see that it is in
their own best interest to support and protect a decentralized world. Supremacy and imperialism have been
tried throughout history leading to dysgenic wars that stop ordered evolution.
And no civilization has been founded or
lasted for long without the bonds of religion. The Ordered Evolution and Revitalized Conservatism of the Theoevolutionary Church affirms these decentralizing social doctrines.

Sociobiology and Revitalized Conservatism
Real conservatism, the Russell Kirk
kind of conservatism, is based in the knowledge that there is vast
amounts of unconscious wisdom in the culture. This necessarily
limits the power of rationalism. Culture cannot or should not fight
against human nature, otherwise human nature will snap back, often in
revolution.
Ethnic groups are often culturally
distinct, and this is good, not bad. Raymond Cattell points out that cultural
natural selection essentially operates on ideas. Genetic patterns
affect the acceptance of cultural patterns and cultural patterns help
to mold genetic pools. Sameness everywhere is not good for the
creativity and invention that comes with variety.
Human nature can be released from the
bondage of social philosophies such as Marxism, and the cultural Marxism of the academic world, which deny or ignore what human nature actually
is. Human nature can be affirmed in the form of many small states,
with a light federalism protecting their independence. States and
regions can be seen as places where different ethnic groups can
thrive in variety. What we need to avoid is imperialism and
supremacy on the part of any one people. This is deeply
conservative and does not fight against basic human nature.
Then we can get on with the sacred
religious mission of evolving to Godhood in the cosmos through Revitalized Conservatism and Ordered Evolution.

Congenital Optimism versus Realism
I think what made me more understanding
and less critical of people in general was the understanding that
people are simply far more optimistic than realistic. People are not
so much dishonest or cunning, they sacrifice realism for happiness.
(see "First-Rate Madness,” by Nassir Ghaemi)
For example, people overestimate how
much control they have so that they may feel happier. This may be at
least partly why realistic assessments of our political situation,
eg. Buchanan's “Suicide of a Superpower,” are quickly buried.
People congenitally insist on thinking happier thoughts.
The question is, what makes realistic
individuals? Dr. Ghaemi suggests that depressed individuals are not
so much misapprehending reality as they are starkly seeing reality in
a world of overly optimistic people.
Starkly realistic leaders do seem to
rise when we need them most to handle a crisis that only realism can
handle. If realistic leaders do not rise than the culture can bury
itself in congenital false optimism and decline or fall.

The affirmation of the sacred in art
It has been said that a true artist
tends to see unconnected things as harmonious. Modern artists seem
to do less of this. Philosophers, scientists and others can also see
harmony in unconnected things. This seems intuitive, which one may
be born with.
I think what is needed is to take this
talent for connecting unconnected things and apply it to sacred
things, sacred values---then you can have great art, an affirmation
of the sacred. But this must not become bogged down in didactic art,
art needs to have what Kirk called “moral imagination.”

A God Not Manifest Is Not God
An unmanifest God, which can be seen in
Hinduism, and in the Christian Meister Eckart, is a definition, or
principle, or denotation, or an intuitive experience of God, but this
is not Godhood. Plato too saw an unmanifest God, as did his
followers. God or Being has been seen as unmanifest all the way to
Heidegger, whose Being remains a hidden Being, or is a process of the
human mind where Being needs thought to manifest itself.
Heidegger's chilly Being seems not to be
exactly the same as the loving God of Aquinas, but both thinkers see
Being as not an object in time but a process happening through human
thought or special experience. Aquinas at least does say that even
if we can not know God completely, God is there knowing himself, God
is a mystery but not to himself. Although the God of Aquinas does
manifest the world, his God remains a nonmaterial, unmanifest
God, and not a manifest-supermaterial-evolved-Supreme Object-in time-Godhood, as Godhood is seen in the Theoevolutionary Church.
This God or Father-Within of Aquinas (and the Eastern religions) is
found in the Involutionary Inward Path, it is the “unmanifest”
God contained in the virtual tabula rasa Soul. This Father Within
is attained or experienced by first ridding the body of all material
desires and surrendering to the Soul. Nevertheless, it is only
through the Evolutionary Outward Path that one can attain Real
Godhood in the cosmos. This requires not ridding the body of material
desires but fulfilling the goal and promise of material desires in
evolving to Godhood, the supermaterial zenith of the material world .
Philosophers and theologians have
compressed too many things in God, for example, God as Creator,
Sustainer and Destroyer, when these things derive from different
things, even if they are related. Primal Matter and the Spirit-Will
within Primal Matter are the creator, and natural evolution is, at
times, the destroyer, and Godhood is the manifested Zenith of natural and
supernatural evolution.

Resolving Ancient Tragedies In The Twofold Path
Material things are totally denied in
the Involutionary Inward Path to the Father Within or God Within, but
material things are affirmed in the Evolutionary Outward Path as the
means and vehicle to evolve from the lowest Primal Matter to the
highest supermaterial Godhood.
If tragedy is defined as the "celebration" of irreconcilable conflicts, and if genius is described as finding the "invisible" link between things, the Twofold Path can resolve the tragedies between
the material and spiritual worlds, between pagan and Christian
worlds, between science and religion. We evolve materially and
supermaterially in the Outward Path to the God first seen in the
Inward Path of the Revealed Religions.
This Twofold Path can be seen in the
projected floor plan of the Theoevolutionary Church --X-- with
one half for the traditional Mass of Sacrifice of the Inward Path,
and the other half for the Mass Of Joy of the Outward Path. Ordered Evolution and Revitalized Conservatism can resolve the tragedy of conservatism versus revolution.

Not materialism versus spiritualism
Meister Eckhart, Thomas' successor,
spoke of God as the divine abyss, divine nothingness, divine
wasteland. But this is the God of the Involutionary Inward Path
reached by stripping all materialism out of life and centering on the
passionless Soul.
Eckhart said “I ask God that he rid
me of God,” which Caputo calls Eckhart's “mystical atheism.”
Caputo doesn't mention the similarity of this to the Eastern
religious view. But Caputo does say that Eckhart's mysticism unites Aquinas and Heidegger ( if Thomas' unspoken mysticism is taken into account.).
Godhood, or Being, is “withdrawn”
from view not because Godhood is spiritually purer than creatures,
but because Godhood is the highest evolved being in the cosmos and we have to evolve to Godhood to see or become Godhood.
This is an important distinction which
keeps Godhood both in the world and of the world. Why should the
“highest” have no comparison to the material world, what is wrong
with the material world, why must the material world always be hated by
the mystics?
The God of the mystics is the virtual
God of the Soul reached through the Inward Path and is only mankind's first hint of Godhood, reached
in reality through the Evolutionary Outward Path. This God of the
mystics is a God beyond God. This is a not-yet-manifest God, which
is, in realty, only a blissful and empty definition, a denotation, of
Godhood. It is not materialism versus spiritualism that is the
distinction, it is higher and lower levels of evolution that are the
distinction.
Frankly, too much is expected of God,
which leads to God's disappearance from reality. Godhood is not the
Being from which beings emerge, Primal Matter is the "being" from which
beings emerge, and the beings who emerge then have the activation of
the Spirit-Will to help them evolve to Godhood, the highest evolution in the cosmos, who is attached to the world by having been evolved from the world to the supermaterial zenith of the world.

The origin of the cosmos in theological materialism
Primal Matter manifests the cosmos and
all existing things. Only the definition or denotation of Primal
Matter is “unmanifest, Primal Matter is manifest.” This unmanifest defining aspect of
Primal Matter is only a reflection of Primal Matter---this is the
opposite of the Revealed Religions and early philosophers who saw Primal Matter as a reflection of the unmanifest definition of matter.
Primal Matter also contains the
Spirit-Will within Primal Matter, which is the all-pervasive cosmic
activator inherent in all existing things. This means that
Primal Matter is the source, support and activator of all things.
Creation is conceived by Primal Matter
and the Spirit-Will within Primal Matter. This is not male/female,
or Prakriti/Purusha, or the Mother Goddess of primitive man, this is
simply the creative Primal Matter and the Spirit-Will within,
although the above have sometimes been useful symbols.
Without the Spirit-Will, Primal Matter
is like a dead mass. It is the Spirit-Will that activates Primal
Matter to evolve to Godhood, from Primal Matter to supermaterial
Godhood. This means that Primal Matter and the Spirit-Will are not
Godhood and that Godhood is attained through the evolution of Primal
Matter. Cosmic Godhood is the Zenith of Primal Matter and the Zenith
of Evolution.
This defines the mission of the
Evolutionary Outward Path. The Involutionary Inward Path to the
Father Within or the God Within is the traditional path, which is also included in the Twofold Path of the Theoevolutionary Church.
This defines the origin of the cosmos in theological materialism and the rise to Godhood in evolution.

Becoming Godhood: How "something" can be "not-something" at the same time
If “something” is the object and
“not-something” is the definition of the object, then something
can be not-something at the same time, contrary to some logicians.
Theology, philosophy, science, and even
the humanities, have been dominated by an intellectual leadership
which features the “not-something” of definition and denotation.
This has separated man from life and nature, this has also made of
God merely of definition or denotation or intellectual intuition.
Aquinas even thought that the highest mode of knowledge as well as
the highest mode of Being was intellectual intuition, and Heidegger
more or less agreed.
Godhood is not an intuitional movement in metaphysics to “union.” Godhood is attained through the
evolution of the material to supermaterial objects. To “see”
God we need to step back from metaphysics and intellectual intuition
and “become” Godhood in nature through evolution. We evolve in
the real material world to real supermaterial Godhood, not a
definition or denotation of God, not a number or principle of God,
not a non-material, spiritual, non-object God, but a real
supermaterial Supreme Object.
Contrary to many intellectuals, the
world is not a dream, the exterior world is real, the world has
meaning. This is not an anti-intellectual stance—equations and
definitions have helped to create life-saving technology and great
books---this is the crowning of intellectual intuition with reality,
with nature, with life, and an understanding of the evolution to Godhood.

On group competition
Group competition need not be seen as a
misinterpretation of Social Darwinism, as man against man with tooth
and claw. In the name of humanitarianism, Cattell speculated about
competition between groups without genocide. Societies that are ill
can be saved from extinction through research in sociobiology.
Virtually independent and
self-sufficient societies can learn from one another regarding how a
healthy evolving society can continue. But “progress” alone is
not good enough, there is a sacred direction of evolution to Godhood
which all groups can avail themselves of, and the Church can be a
guide in this, even as light federalism protects the independence of
many small states.
Human beings are capable of this
behavior, although it requires effort. Life on earth, as well as
evolution beyond the earth, may depend on it, and the bonding of
religion in this will be crucial.

A key principle bringing religious meaning back to the meaningless modern world
To Aquinas, and perhaps Heidegger, the
beatitude of man is the perfect act of seeing or feeling the
divine being, which to them is also the highest mode of Being. This position undervalues both
God and man. Buddha did much the same thing in advocating the non-material path to nirvana.
The Revealed Religions are slowly
fading from human history (with a few flareups now and again) largely
because of the anti-material stance, which has gone against
all that people see, all that people are. Religion and metaphysics (and much of philosophy) have been an attempt to overcome any representation of real, material or supermaterial, divine objects. Even if religion bows a bit to real life (eg. everything has a season), it is not really an affirmation of real life but a plan for living a life designed to lead to an affirmation of pure,
anti-material, intuition.
Godhood is not merely calculation, not
meditation, not presence, not intuition, not deduction, not the human experience of bliss. Godhood is a
Real Supermaterial Object, or Objects, reached through material and supermaterial
evolution. The highest act of life is not merely to have intellectual intuition of God, it is to become Godhood in
evolution.
Even so, in the Twofold Path we can
retain or include the intellectual intuition of God, seen in the
Involutionary Inward Path to the Soul-Within, but we must not be
blocked there in a Great Spiritual Blockade. We must move on to the
Evolutionary Outward Path, which is activated by the material Spirit-Will, so
that we can, through material and supermaterial evolution, become
Real Godhood.

Redefining universalism in religion
Cattell pointed out that all religions
seem to secumb to imperialism in ethics (one could add that all
civilizations do too) because they take on universalism in ethics,
which then weakens and destroys the founding culture. The contrast
to this is the religions of national loyalties, eg. Shintoism and
Hebrewism.
The Theoevolutionary Church
affirms national loyalty in a universal way, each people, each small
state has the right, or the duty, to contribute to the survival of
its own group, this is deeply natural and it is the original basis of
much of ethics. The difficulty comes with group competition, where
cooperative competition needs to be strongly affirmed.
This defines universal variety, with
each individual contributing to the survival and evolution of its own
group. The church can help guide ethics, as can scientific knowledge
from sociobiology, as all groups rise in evolution to Godhood. The
God first seen in the Inward Path to the Soul of Traditional
Religions was the sole goal of ethics, now the evolutionary
goal of the Outward Path to Real Godhood is added to the older
ethics.
“Progress” alone is not the goal,
the Inward Path to the Soul alone is not the goal, Godhood by way of
evolution is the final goal, which does not replace old ethics, it is
added to them, with Ordered Evolution and Revitalized Conservatism.
Human beings are capable of our great, sacred, natural mission to evolve to Godhood. Human survival, and future species survival, probably depend on advancing human intelligence to help us survive.

A Revitalized View of the Sacred in Art
Richard Wagner thought that the Ancient Greeks had created the perfect art-work, the total-art-work, (Gesamtkunstwerk), which combined music, dance, and poetry, best seen in the tragedies of Aeschylus. Later this total-art split into various factions and specialties for various reasons, which Wagner said was related to decline.
I would rather use the term “total-religion” than total art in the sense that the word “culture” comes from “cultus” or cult. This has (or at least once had) religious dimensions, because culture refers to the sanctification of daily life, architecture, clothing, art, literature and music.
We seem to instinctively know the principles of beauty, as balance, clarity, moderation, simplicity, things handsome, pretty---these are classical values. Mozart did not invent many of the patterns he used, he improved on the work of past composers. This defines Ordered Evolution.
Art can grasp the evolutionary pattern toward higher forms of beauty, toward Perfect Beauty, which defines Godhood. Truth gives meaning to Beauty---Godhood is first a Supreme Object and only secondarily a supreme definition. This view can help us move away from abstract thinking in art and back to the concrete, back to the material, back to the object, but also forward to the supermaterial.
Evolutionary Realism in the art of the projected Theoevolutionary Church can provide art content, with the new yet very old narrative of life evolving from the simple to the complex, toward Absolute Beauty and Godhood.
Using “moral imagination” in art (Russell Kirk and Burke's term) can keep moral art from becoming didactic and boring. The greatest art showed this creative moral imagination. This grounds art in the affirmation of the sacred, but with a revitalized view of the sacred.

Preventing violence by affirming human nature
Real human nature operates best in
small states with harmonious populations. It is completely natural
for human beings to prefer their own people and it has been
disastrous to try to socialize against this deep aspect of human
nature. One-world communism killed millions. But the attempt at
supremacy and imperialism by one people over all other people also
goes against this universal aspect of human nature, which exists in
all people, all of whom seek to advance their own kind.
This strongly suggest that a light
federalism protecting many small states is the most natural political
configuration, and this old paleoconservative perspective can be
revitalized with knowledge of sociobiology. Differences need to be
protected, not abused or manipulated. Violence can be prevented by
affirming real human nature in this way. Will we eventually
understand this before it is too late to save human life on earth?
Look to who benefits (or wrongly thinks they do) from seeking to
upset the balance of true human nature. Imperialism, multinationals,
racial supremacists, those who think they alone are chosen, one-worldism in all its forms, they have been the destructive ones throughout history.

First Cause Or Endless Creation?
The refusal of the Revealed Religion to
grant permission to exist, to be, unless creation is derived from God
has set up the tragic confrontation between the material and
spiritual world, between religion and science. The Theoevolutionary Church (TC) speaks of a cosmic evolution to
Godhood, a cosmos created from Primary Matter and the Spirit-Will
within matter which activates matter. Rather than a first cause we speak of endless
creation and evolution. Even St. Thomas left a doctrine of creation at least
somewhat open, saying that the ultimate human knowledge of God is
that we do not know him.
The “perfect” seems not to be the
"cause," that which seeks the Perfect is the cause, which
explains why there is a cause to go somewhere it needs to go.
The Spirit-Will seeks Perfect Godhood by way of activating life to
evolve to Godhood. Evolution then shapes life, not always toward Godhood. This may even be seen in relation to pagan
cosmogony, where Earth Mother (Primary Matter) gives birth to life, activated by Sky
Father (the Spirit-Will.) This is how the TC resolves formerly irreconcilable
differences in religion and philosophy, and ancient and modern history.

The Twofold Path is a reconciler, a synthesizer, a uniter
Modern philosophy, like ancient
philosophy, seems to have gone the way of religion, both Aquinas and
Heidegger arrive at the mystical intellectual intuition of the Inward
Path, which John Caputo describes as the “seinserfahrung” of
Heidegger, and the “pati divina” of Aquinas. It is time to go
beyond the Inward Path to the Outward Path, while yet including the
Inward Path.
The immediate experience of God in the
Inward Path to the Soul needs to be expanded outside of ourselves,
even outside of the bliss of the Soul, to affirm the Outward Path of
the Spirit-Will, which actives life to evolve to Real Godhood in the cosmos.
Religion and philosophy have been
mainly content to immerse themselves in the presence of the Inward
Soul, now we need to bring religion and philosophy back to
representationalism, to the Supreme Object Godhood, evolved to in the
material and supermaterial world. Godhood is grasped at a distance,
or intuitively within the activation of the Spirit-Will, the virtual presence of
God in the Soul is not Godhood.
It has been said that to no man can see
God and live. Fear of God has blocked the path to Godhood. The
natural goal of evolution is Godhood. Man tends naturally to
evolve toward the divine in nature, which is Godhood.
Reaching the Inward God is the
terrestrial fulfillment of the Involutionary Inward Path, reaching
the Outward God is the celestial fulfillment of the Evolutionary
Outward Path. The Twofold Path is a reconciler, a synthesizer, a
uniter.

Religion and Evolution
Raymond Cattell and others have pointed
out that it was the natural selection of groups rather than
individuals (listen up libertarians) that gave us concern for ethical
values, often tied to religion. The natural selection of individuals
had to fit the natural selection of groups, otherwise the group would
disappear. Ethics developed from this inter-group selection for the
group, and religion usually fostered mutual love and self-sacrifice,
as in the Ten Commandments.
But it is not just the ethical values
of the survival of the group, it is what behavior contributes to the
evolution of the group as well. The religion of the Theoevolutionary Church (TC) emphasizes the sacred evolution
to Godhood. And it is also important to emphasize what ethical rules govern interacting groups. This then leads to a worldview of many
small states, each with its variation of bio-cultural ethics
advancing toward Godhood, and with all the states protected by a
light federalism.
The Church guides, voluntarily, and
includes research on human behavior, and examines which ethics lead
to successful survival and evolution, and the workable interactions
between groups.TC does not replace the ethics of the Revealed
Religions ( as Beyondism seems to advocate), TC adds research from sociobiology to the
Involutionary Inward Path of the Revealed Religions, on the great mission of all groups evolving to Godhood
by way of the Evolutionary Outward Path. This defines the Twofold Path. Ordered Evolution and Revitalized Conservatism are the
methods, not revolution.
