The God Within is an asylum and home
for the mystics, but this is not the life which needs to evolve to
Godhood. Both Christ and Buddha said that suffering is universal,
and the way out of suffering was to rid the body of all material
desires in the Inward Path to attain the God Within. Yes, suffering
is universal but so is joy. The path of both joy and suffering is
the Outward Path which evolution travels to Godhood in the cosmos.
The Inward Path to the God Within needs to lead to the Outward Path
of evolution to Godhood, then we can have a complete rather than
partial religion in the Twofold Path.
