I think false dualities are the big
enemy of truth, probably originating in ancient religions and then
moving on to philosophy.
Religions separated mind from body,
material from spiritual, beast from man, rational from irrational,
and came up with a method for seeing or experiencing God which
required the duality to take things as far as blocking all material
desires.
There may be a hierarchy of drives with
the most important force being the basic material drive within life,
within every cell of the body (Tirips), to active life to evolve in
the material world toward the greatest success in survival and
evolution, which is supermaterial Godhood.
Even so, mind, body, beast, man,
rational, irrational, all are one, and all are material and
supermaterial with different but related tasks, at different stages of evolution.
We evolve in material and supermaterial
life from frogs to the Gods, and religious/philosophical talk of
a duality between the material and spiritual, with religion preferring the spiritual, is false and misleading and is holding us back from attaining real Godhood.
