Sacred Activation

As listed by Tusar Nath Mohapatra we have Kant's sublime, Hegel's absolute, Schopenhauer's will, Kierkegaard's passion, Marx's matter, Darwin's evolution, Nietzsche's overman, Bergson's élan vital, and in theological materialism we have Tirips, the material will to Godhood, which is not a spiritual non-thing but a material activation within life internally activating every atom and cell of living bodies, which then react and adapt to the various outside environments that life lives in.  Evolution moves inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms, all the way to ascending levels of Godhood.

Time is not Being

I haven't studied Zurvanism, an extinct branch of Zoroastrianism, but I understand that they said "time created everything." They seem to think that when something or someone is said to be in that state of timelessness there is no you or I or it or separations---there isn't birth or death, which suggests immortality for "time,” suggesting a God.

That is very good description of what is not a timeless Being. Time is judged only in relation to living beings who see time passing, and can remember past time and can think of future times.

So Heidegger's idea of Being as Time seems to be in line with that tendency of intellectuals to overlook the fact that the “names” of things are an abstraction which only point toward the reality of the thing named---the abstract name is not the thing-in-itself.

“Time” is a secondary abstraction or name for the actions of evolution in time. Living objects are the real Beings, not the abstract name “time” for the course or period that living beings move through.

The highest evolved material-not-spiritual Beings are called Godhood, which are evolved to in the material-supermaterial world, and time is important only in relation to living objects in time.

A better and more real natural formula for both conservatives and liberals

“Believing what all men, everywhere, always have believed in” (Kirk) is the common sense formula or mantra of most conservatives. Modern liberals object even to that common sense. But the morals and values of the Western world continue to deteriorate, even while high technology continues to improve and amaze us.

The conservative formula of believing what all men, everywhere, always have believed in, usually harmonizes with real biologically originated human nature, which is universally kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, religious-making, among other conservative things.

But human nature is also biologically ethnocentric, even xenophobic, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection, and that human reality is objected to by both conservatives and modern liberals, and declared to be “politically incorrect” and even taboo by the corrupt and deceitful Hollywood/New York/Washington media and by virtually all of our schools.

In advanced modern societies where survival is easier, the rise of Marxism (demanding equality for the unequal), radical feminism (demanding biologically unnatural roles for women), homosexuality (demanding biologically unnatural sexual life styles) and postmodern relativism (demanding a biologically unnatural relativity of values) are leading to biologically and culturally diseased societies.

So a better more real and more natural formula for both conservatives and liberals would be: “Follow human nature and the biological origin of social behavior.” That may lead us affirm an ethnopluralism of ethnostates in politics, evolutionary realism in art, and theological materialism in religion and philosophy.

The ideal creates the means of attaining the ideal

In theological materialism the “ideal” is ascending levels of material/supermaterial Godhood, and therefore the material world of natural selection and evolution is the means, with help from the sociobiological and genetic sciences.

Bob Dylan released a new song, “Murder Most Foul”

I remember it was a shock to me the day I realized that the coolest dude of them all, Marlon Brando, could be so cool yet be a decadent/degenerate who hated white Western culture but loved non-White culture. Bob Dylan is one of Brando's disciples.

Dylan just released a new “song”, “Murder Most Foul,” about the JFK assassination. Over the years, as many white pop musicians have done, Dylan has managed to turn his voice into an old raspy black man's voice. Why these high IQ white dudes try to imitate a poor old weary black man tells us much about the condition of American culture; it goes back to the 50's and 60's and the suicidal white self-hate is still going strong with white rappers etc.etc.

There was time when it looked like Dylan might go to Nashville and record white folk music rather than black blues, but it wasn't an ethnic awakening---maybe the weed in Nashville wasn't to his liking.

Religion and Promethean Art (from 2013)

We can have a creative relationship between religion and art, which is what happened in Ancient Greece and Medieval Catholicism, and this can save art from the truly inferior modern art of the past 100 years. We will need to endure the long and heroic trials of our long evolution to Godhood in the cosmos and art will help us endure.

Nietzsche thought art and religion arise from the same impulse that nature employs to make our existence bearable and help us survive (and this was long before sociobiology). But our evolution to Godhood is not merely a powerful illusion to help us survive and evolve (although it can help survival), this evolution is based in material and supermaterial religion and science, bringing art and science together.

Our evolution to Godhood must be considered an even greater mission than creating individual geniuses, which Nietzsche thought was what made Greek culture great (see "The Republic of Genius"). Our evolution can bring new Promethean art into our evolutionary religion, which we do need in our devolving and degenerate world---our desperation may lead us to it. The primary task of our religion is greater than the Greeks, which certainly sounds grandiose yet is necessary, that is, the continuous evolution of great beings in great cultures all the way to ascending levels of Godhood, the Godhood first seen only inwardly by the great religions.

The real material way to overcome the personal and social decadence of the modern world

Conservatives are of course right to worry about the personal and social decadence of the modern world, but they are wrong and hypocritical to blame it on the pursuit of living for the material senses. The religious end that traditionalist's seek is also hedonistic, the Godhood they seek involves restricting sensual desires (especially with serious ascetics) but the end they seek with the sensual restrictions is entirely sensual and necessarily self-indulgent so that they may experience the great bliss of beatitude for Christians, awakening for Buddhists, etc. It is peak material experience brought on by blocking or “overcoming” sensual desires, and then falsely defining that peak material experience as a non-material spiritual experience of God.

The real material way to overcome the personal and social decadence of the modern world is to seek ascending levels of real material Godhood by way of material and supermaterial evolution. This means seeking Godhood by evolving from man to superman to supermaterial Gods. Applying the sciences of sociobiology and genetics we can learn to prevent the decline and early death of a variety of people, ethnic groups, and societies by understanding the social and biological patterns that bring collapse.

The material evolutionary process has shown a direction toward higher, more complex, more intelligent, more conscious forms, in spite of occasional backward going and stagnation. We can help prevent negative genetic ends, but we can also civilize the beast and seek positive genetic ends, even as we recognize that competition, separation, and distinctiveness are a good thing on the evolutionary path to ascending levels of Godhood.

Walking the cultural tightrope

Most intellectuals and scholars have not accepted the biological origin of social behavior or the sociobiological definition of human nature, therefore they have not seen or accepted the cultural implications of those things. That is, when real kin and ethnic-centered human nature is allowed to be what it is, it naturally leads to regionalism, localism, general conservative values, eventually ethnostates and finally an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, protected by a defensive federalism. Intellectuals and scholars also have not seen or accepted the religious implications of the biological origin of social behavior that rationally and instinctively leads to theological materialism, which finds life evolving toward the supreme survival success of ascending levels of Godhood, with no beginning and no end.

When we are considered at all we are damned as being politically incorrect (not culturally Marxist) or condemned for not being neoconservative. But we are still walking the cultural tightrope, usually enjoying the challenge. We are ahead of our time. Thanks for your support.

Life is limited only to survival and reproduction for many naturalists who have given up on religion and Godhood because they think that without spiritualism, which science cannot affirm, there can be no religion or Godhood. That tends to lead to what Thoreau called lives of quiet desperation.

When the question is asked “what is the purpose of existence? even our supposedly best minded philosopher's think such things as we are “condemned” to freedom, which is a highly arrogant thought since our “free will” is constrained by the biological origin of our social behavior, among other things.

Darwin's stunning discovery of natural evolution, which showed that all species of life have descended over time from common ancestors by way of natural selection and branching, greatly weakened the religious worldview, although some tried to hang on to a spiritual religious purpose by saying that we evolve to a non-material spiritual God.

The biggest sticking point for most scientists comes in believing in the complete randomness of evolution, denying any kind of direction to evolution, which when asking what is the purpose of existence? tends to put them in that quiet desperation camp.

Evolution moves inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward “higher and higher more effective living forms,” as Cattell put it. When we define internally activating life evolving toward higher and higher forms, shaped by outside natural selection and genetic evolution, always moving toward ascending levels of Godhood, then the goal of materially evolving to supermaterial Godhood gives natural purpose and direction to modern life and culture, and it need not deprive us of either science or religion.

Reductionism in religion and science has to watch not to kill the thing observed

Just because a physical object is a collection of subatomic particles held together by energy does not mean that “all is energy,” any more than man is only mind. These things evolved to be the increasingly complicated material objects that they are. Reductionism has to watch not to kill the thing observed.

Just as we can't say that all is energy, we also can't say that all is spiritual. Ascending levels of Godhood are not gradually evolving toward the nothingness of non-material spiritualism, there is no non-material spiritual, all is material and evolving toward supermaterial Godhood.

The God of traditional religions lives only in the mind as a peak experience of the mind and body, seen best after ascetically blocking or overcoming all desires, then it is wrongly defined as a blissful non-material experience of God.

In the coming world we can have Godhood and religion and priests who work with scientists on the ways and means to materially evolve to real supermaterial Godhood.

How we can be optimistic in the face of moral and cultural rot

The conservatives were right about the moral and cultural rot in the West caused by the modern destruction of God and religion. While science and technology brought us wonderful life-saving and life-enhancing inventions it didn't stop the moral and cultural rot. And philosophy declared that along with the death of God and religion all morals and ethical values were relative and there is no absolute truth. 

So how can one be optimistic in the face of this human tragedy? By understanding that we can have Godhood and religion in harmony with science and philosophy. Theological materialism describes a naturalistic Godhood and a naturalistic religious philosophy that affirms the biological origin of social behavior and affirms materialism evolving to supermaterialism and ascending levels of Godhood.  

Theological materialism does not describe man's fate without God, as in standard materialism, we are not man-alone without God but man activated from within every cell of the body toward survival and reproductive success while being shaped by evolution from without, which leads ultimately to our material evolution to ascending levels of Godhood.  

Theological materialism does not lead to big brother materialism any more than religious spiritualism leads to big brother spiritualism. Theological materialism does not call for a dictatorial class of priests or scientists; priests can help guide the church in the upward evolution to Godhood, aided by science and the humanities, with the voluntary affirmation of the people.   

We can even be conservative and patriotic, grounded in religion, philosophy, and science, and affirming the constitutional separation of powers and states in the United States, slightly amended to save ourselves by becoming an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. Different ethnic groups within ethnostates can be what they actually are and what human nature actually is, kin and ethnic-centered, rejecting the various forms of ethnic supremacy and imperialism as unworkable and immoral.  

The sacred goal of life and sacred goal of theological materialism is to materially evolve toward supermaterial Godhood in the cosmos. That is how can we can be optimistic in the face of moral and cultural rot.

How we can be brought forward to sacred Promethean religious art (from 2010)

The profane artist uses art forms and models with little or no connection to the sacred. Art is not defined as profane because it transmits only man, it is profane because it ignores the sacred.

Beauty becomes vital in sacred art because perfect beauty, perfect truth, perfect goodness, perfect power etc, is the goal of the activating will (Tirips) in evolution, which works along with outside natural selection and evolution seeking always ascending levels of Godhood on earth and in the cosmos.

The mission of sacred art is to attempt to transmit these perfections, expanding the abstract definitions of traditional sacred art. Beauty suggests action, form, power, and procreation in evolution. Attraction toward beauty is attraction toward Godhood. Godhood is an evolving perfecting object not merely a definition.

We can go back to, or forward to, the Promethean, which was so demeaned by the Traditionalists. We are evolving to Godhood in the Outward Path, and we should not be stunted or blocked by the Great Spiritual Blockade of Traditionalism which tends to pay attention only to the abstract Inward Path truths while blocking or unaware of the Outward Path of material evolution to real supermaterial Godhood.

Traditional Religion at its essence virtually rejects the material world, although it does valiantly try to redeem the material world theologically, intellectually, in the works of the Church Fathers. The Greeks were more humanistic. The evolving human body is activated by the evolution to Godhood, formed by successful survival and reproduction, and moved by the activating will (Tirips) within evolution which works along with outside natural selection and evolution, and we can be brought forward to sacred Promethean religious art.

The natural basis for human social structures

The divisions of races, ethnic groups, property, class systems, and gender are natural developments. If not interfered with by utopian ideologues or selfish antisocial people, societies are naturally aligned or defined by divisions of races and social classes, which is to the mutual benefit of all subjects. The development of society is largely due to the biological origin of social behavior. Ethnic groups and races help to develop the most homogeneous harmony within societies because they share many of the same genetic traits. Social changes brought on by the biological origin of social behavior take place as the human race progresses or evolves.

This suggests that if real kin and ethnic-centered human nature is allowed to be what it is, it naturally leads to regionalism, localism, general conservative values, eventually ethnostates, and finally an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. For example, in the U. S. this could be accomplished not by way of radical revolution but through adapting---not overturning---the U.S. constitutional separation of powers and states, and then protecting the ethnostates from marauding imperialists, supremacists, and global money grubbers, with a defensive federalism.

The opposite of existentialism

Existentialism says, according to Alexander Bard, we are what we think, what we say and how we act, we identify with all those things and it is not the other way round, nature does not force us to act in any particular way.

I believe just the opposite. Nature in fact causes us to behave in a certain way and our minds are part of nature. Does this place essence before existence? If nature is defined as essence, yes.

Then there is the matter of the Activation Within, or Tirips, which is activating life to evolve eventually to ascending levels of Godhood. This too is part of nature. We have freedom or free will within the determined paths of life and evolution, just a little freer than a boulder rolling down a mountain. We evolve toward more efficient forms, more complex forms, with starts and stops and backward goings along the way, heading up the mountain toward Godhood at the zenith of evolution.

Paranoid to the bone

Why add the bit about predicable progress? It doesn't fit. Being pruned by extinction doesn't rule out progress or that evolution moves inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements; the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms.

Science is not supposed to care if the truth goes against your personnel desires.

Improving Ropke's third economic choice

I like the humane economic philosophy of Wilhelm Ropke, but he lived too close to World War Two to see that his economic system, which supposedly suited human nature, didn't value enough our primary kin and ethnic-centered human nature. As Russell Kirk pointed out Ropke's third choice was different from ideological socialism or doctrinaire capitalism. Confidence in the capitalist economy leads to heartless individuals which furthers the rise of dangerous collectivism. Ropke wanted to humanize the modern industrial political economy which was/is bent upon mass production regardless of the personnel and social problems it causes, and bring it all back to a human scale economic independence for small and medium size business, artisans etc.

Ropke's ethical economic ideas proved successful in bringing the post war German economy back from the hell of war, but as mentioned above, he lived too close to WWII to see that his economic system, which supposedly suited human nature, didn't value enough our primary kin and ethnic-centered human nature.  Those who refused to forget the horrors of WWII dragged the whole world into the economic and social hell of multiculturalism rather than admit that if real kin and ethnic-centered human nature is allowed to be what it is, it naturally leads to regionalism, localism, general conservative values, eventually largely independent ethnostates, and finally an ethnopluralism of ethnostates for all ethnic groups and races, protected with a defensive federalism.

The history of the world and the history of knowledge does not stop with traditional religions, evolution has taught us that. The ancients didn't know about the material evolution of life, or more to the point, about the material evolution of life toward supermaterial Godhood.

I see this great process of evolution as activated from within every atom and within every cell of living bodies, which then react and adapt to the various outside environments that life lives in. This activation is the same activation that leads to the desire to successfully survive and reproduce. And this activation is a material/supermaterial activation, not spiritual.

I see evolution moving inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward “higher and higher more effective living forms,”as Cattell put it, all the way to ascending levels of Godhood, endlessly. That is the next worldview rising to contest the death of God and religion.

Biologizing culture and ethics

Edward O. Wilson said: "The genes hold culture on a leash. The leash is very long, but inevitably values will be constrained in accordance with their effects on the human gene pool. The brain is a product of evolution. Human behavior...is the circuitous technique by which human genetic material has been and will be kept intact. Morality has no other demonstrable ultimate function."

In other memorable lines Wilmot Robertson said "“What is called for is a new form of government that would turn socially destructive into socially constructive forces. Race, now actively tearing countries apart might be helpful in putting them back together again...” (“The Ethnostate”)

But with the contrivances of the corrupt Media and our schools we have been taught to fear the biologizing of culture and ethics to the point where speaking about it has been made unacceptable and taboo. This taboo has been irrationally exploited as much as the idea of “racial supremacy” was irrationally exploited. When the goals of social planning are biologized it leads naturally to ethnostates for all ethnic groups and races.

Human nature remains universally and genetically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, among other conservative things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection followed by individual selection. The philosophy of theological materialism in contrast to the radical spiritualist philosophy of history

John Mosbey writes (“Reception” of Dugin) : “Carl Schmitt, paraphrasing Max Weber, claimed: “it is possible to confront irrefutably a radical materialist philosophy of history with a similarly radical spiritualist philosophy of history.” In his Fourth Political Theory, Dugin articulates just such a claim.”

The deeper problem with Aleksandr Dugin's worldview is that in reality there is no non-material spiritual world, there is only ascetic interpretations derived from spiritual language and strict ascetic disciplines that overcome or block all material desires, which bring feelings of great bliss to the ascetic that is exaggeratedly described as a spiritual union with God. The inward God of the beatific vision of Christianity, or the Samadhi in Hinduism, was/is an ascetic peak material experience and not a spiritual union with God.

If we take the word “metastasis,” the spread of something, like a disease, from an initial site to a different or secondary site, and apply it to the split between the material and the spiritual, we can see the numerous problems this led to, not the least of which was, ironically and tragically, the decline of religion.

The liberals and progressives more or less rejected religion mainly because Western science could find no trace of the spiritual or a spiritual God. And they were right. But they were wrong to reject religion and Godhood.

Although few have heard of it the philosophy of theological materialism affirms a religious materialist philosophy in contrast to the radical spiritualist philosophy of history.

Rather than killing religion and God or going backward to a traditionalist school which in truth repudiates all the great Western achievements of modernity, we might have gone back to the point of the metastasis and rejected the the split between the material and the spiritual. There is no non-material spiritual God but we can reach ascending levels of supermaterial Godhood by way of material and supermaterial evolution, as seen in the philosophy of theological materialism. Real Godhood is reached by material evolution and not by the symbolic experience of bliss reached in ascetic practices.

So given Dugin's combined Russian imperialistic West-hating Neo-Eurasianism and his version of the anti-life Guénon/Evola Traditionalist School, and although I respect the breadth of his thinking, I don't have much time for Dugin. I live in the West and I am proud of the West. Patriotism has been unfairly lost in seeing only the flaws of the West, which are redeemable. For example, an ethnopluralism of ethnostates or regions could be established, legally, in the United States, in line with real kin and ethnic centered human nature, with our constitutional separation of powers and states or from an amendment, strongly protected by a defensive federalism, which opposes global empires.

Ethnostates were examined courageously in clear prose by Wilmot Robertson back in 1993 without veering into Heideggerian metaphysics. A humane religion from science was valiantly mapped out by Raymond Cattell. And Edward Wilson's sociobiology makes it impossible for honest people to sidestep the biological origin of social behavior---which includes religion. These men deeply respected the culture-creating West and the Western gene pool and they inspired the development of my pro-Western religious philosophy of theological materialism.

Effective revolution or reformation in modern conditions

This strongly suggests that if real kin and ethnic-centered human nature is allowed to be what it is, it would naturally lead to regionalism, localism, general conservative values, eventually ethnostates, and finally an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. For example, in the U. S. this could be accomplished not by way of radical revolution but through adapting---not overturning---the U.S. constitutional separation of powers and states, and then protecting the ethnostates from marauding imperialists, supremacists, and global money grubbers, by a defensive federalism.

Alan Bullock said originality lay in the realization that effective revolutions, in modern conditions, are carried out with and not against the power of the State: the correct order of events was first to secure access to that power and then begin revolution.

That's what the cultural Marxists did in the 1960's, they “marched through the institutions” (Gramsci 's term) and took them over with intellectual lies, not with guns.

The Tenth Amendment says “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people,” which gives the states the power to nullify unconstitutional laws; it is a moderate middle ground, and not the road to secession. If that doesn't open the way for regions or states to become ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, then the constitutional separation of powers and states can be amended to include ethnostates. Radical revolutions are not called for and are usually unsuccessful, we can conserve the best of the past as we evolve toward the future.

The best rational and instinctive natural ideal possible?

Given the biological origin of social behavior and given human nature which is biologically and genetically kin and ethnic centered, is ethnocentrism or group selection and kin selection the best rational and instinctive natural ideal possible, with individualism following after in co-evolution? Multiculturalism with different groups trying to live the same living space is not harmonious or successful and goes against human nature and this natural ideal.

Defining politics, the arts, etc. can follow from this basic ideal. For example, beautiful and distinctive art comes from the affirmation of distinctive ethnostates and their people, and sacred art comes from affirmation in art of what the people hold sacred.

This ideal can be made universal in an ethnopluralism of ethnostates protected by a defensive federalism. And religion is universal in theological materialism, with material evolution to ascending levels of supermaterial Godhood as the natural ideal of all distinctive groups and ethnostates, aided by religion and science.

Religious duality is a fraudulent thing

Religious duality is a fraudulent thing which greatly degraded the material world---ascetics even thought of the material world as evil. They defined their God as not being material and not of this world, presuming that we cannot have God without spiritualism.

Like traditional religions, alchemy was and is a double-goal system: it supposedly connected the physical world with the spiritual one so that the two can one day join together simultaneously. The problem with that is there is no spiritual world and no real spiritual God, there is at best a supermaterial world where ascending levels of Godhood can be evolved to in the material world.

And spiritualism was not buried by religious philosophers from the Plato/Aristotle school who defined God as an idea, like truth or the good, ideas for them existed as non-material things which are as non-material and “spiritual” as the God of the ascetics.

The great irony, which has become a tragedy for humans, is that the religious traditions put up a great spiritual blockade against materially evolving by way of material evolution to ascending levels of real supermaterial Godhood, which is blocked by spiritualism.

 It's overdo time time to move to the reality of theological materialism.

Republicans and conservatives also ignore the biological origin of social behavior but their religious views of human nature at least somewhat synchronize with the natural sociobiological definition of human nature, which has been affirmed throughout human history to this day as being universally and genetically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, among other conservative things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection followed by individual selection.

The Democrats and the left suicidally push for open borders, multiculturalism, globalism, radical feminism etc. even though these values go against real human nature and their own survival and reproductive success over the long term. People of color and minorities, who are mostly of the Democrats and the left, at least see the chance to gain power by supporting all leftist programs like Affirmative Action that favor individuals belonging to groups known to have been discriminated against previously. etc. etc. But white Democrats and leftist are simply suicidal in supporting programs that undermine their own survival and reproductive success.

When real kin and ethnic-centered human nature is allowed to be what it is, it naturally leads to localism, regionalism, eventually ethnostates, general conservative values, and finally an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. So that is what we need to begin supporting, an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, which is ultimately good for all groups and races.

Modifying the weakness of democracies

James Madison said qualifications such as those of wealth, of birth, of religious faith, or of civil profession do not define what he meant by a natural aristocracy. But this does not or should not mean that genetics are not involved in defining a merit based natural aristocracy for any political system. We cannot rule out genetics even as those who make the social effort to cultivate and perfect certain traits and capabilities are likewise involved in defining a natural aristocracy.

Raymond Cattell had an interesting way of modifying the weakness of democracies, which tend to end up with the legal robbery of haves by have nots. The idea is to modify the weakness of democracy with a healthy form of meritocracy. Cattell based the selection of merit on his psychometric research into intrapersonal psychological structure, with such things as his empirical studies of Culture Fair Intelligence Tests to minimize the bias of written language and cultural background in intelligence testing.

Cattell, a British and American psychologist known for his psychometric research put it this way: majorities in democracies can tell you what they want, then an elite selected by comprehensive testing of merit can help you actually get what you want, rather than having the ill-informed, greedy, power hungry, corrupt, selection process of most democracies, which define their elites.

Getting the reconciliation of the individual and the group right means, among other things, discerning the difference between creative social individuals and creative antisocial individuals, which modern psychometric testing can help with (was Hegel social and Nietzsche antisocial?) This assumes the sociobiological knowledge of the biological origin of most of our social behavior. Cattell's tests work quite well in telling us much about social and antisocial people (as long as there is room for outsiders to fall through the cracks, which, being outsiders, they often do.)

The bottom line for me in thinking about the group and the creative individual is to let individuals and outsiders freely create with no strings attached, that is, philosophers, artists, engineers, scientists, or whoever, but in the end the judgment has to come down to understanding and judging the difference between the social and anti-social works.

The related subject of ethnostates and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates also seeks to conservatively modify the weakness of democracy by advocating a way to deal with the growing variety of ethnic groups in America with very different genetic pools and different agendas, which could be done by adapting the Constitutional separation of powers and states to develop ethnostates, in harmony with real kin and ethnic-centered human nature, and then protecting them with a defensive federalism.

These ideas conservatively reform what we have now rather than having destructive radical revolution from the left or the right.

Big Tech companies have joined forces with the traditional Big Media in breaking down our culture

We thought it couldn't get much worse than the cultural break down and moral decline successfully promoted by the traditional Big Media, but now we see that online censorship has taken away most of the freedom of expression we thought we had on line, with Google,Twitter, and Apple curating content to the Left and demonizing the Right. Google controls 88.5 percent of the global search market and 90 percent of the online video market with its YouTube. And 95 percent of political donations from tech company employees went to Hillary Clinton in the last election.

I don't know if I have room for more dislike than I feel for the traditional Big Media, but now we have the Big Tech companies joining forces with the traditional Big Media in breaking down our culture and causing moral decline promoting both hedonism and cultural Marxism.

Our heroic President Trump has had too many neoconservatives working for him pushing the strategy of full global dominance, and Trump continues to grant favors to Israel, the Saudis, and others, against American interests, which could lead to a major war. But Trump is all we have at the time and he at least talked about having a non-interventionist, America First worldview.

So what to do? What I am doing is elucidating and promoting the biological origin of social behavior and its consequences. When real kin and ethnic-centered human nature is allowed, it leads naturally to localism, regionalism, and eventually to ethnostates, and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. The U. S. could adapt---not overturn---the constitutional separation of powers and states and create ethnostates, and then protect the ethnostates or regions from marauding imperialists, supremacists, and global money grubbers, with a defensive federalism. I don't believe there is better way or healthier way for all groups and races to live in this world. Leaders and politicians elucidating and promoting this have to rise, and I think they will, eventually.

Why religion does not fall with naturalism

The belief in dualism of the conservative spiritualists (Elmer More, Russell Kirk) does not rightly accept the flow of change and evolution within naturalistic conservatism, they fear change because they say change has not revered the spiritual, they say religion will die without the spiritual and that we will all become hedonists without spiritualism. 

Religion does not fall with the advent of naturalism, religion rises out of ashes of spiritualism as we materially evolve in the material world to ascending levels of supermaterial Godhood, natural material evolution is the path to real Godhood.

Material forces don't stifle higher civilization they activate civilization, unlike dualistic spiritualism which often thinks of material forces as evil (asceticism) and therefore actually stifles civilization.

And natural evolution tends to be conservative in that it conserves the best of the past or that which has enhanced survival and reproductive success. The stability of conservatism in general helps maintain evolutionary new mutations which would perish without that stability. How much evolution, the timing of evolution, depends on the circumstances of the nation, the small states, or ethnostates, within the nation and the world. “Reasoned and temperate” progress is the general way of evolution.

Unity In the Sacred Goal (from 2013)

Religion can be defined as the Will-To-Godhood, or Tirips, become conscious, philosophical, artistic, political, scientific.

Traditional religion tends to be anti-naturalistic, but the projected Theoevolutionary Church (TC), with its theological materialism, is naturalistic. Walter Kaufmann pointed out in his insightful book on religion and philosophy that traditional religion says you will be holy because your God is holy, or it says you will not be holy so therefore you must worship what is holy. The TC and theological materialism says you will be holy and attain Godhood because Tirips activates all life to evolve to Godhood, working along with natural selection and evolution.

This evolution is not a disenchantment with the material world or a seeking to escape beyond it, the material world is the means by which we evolve to Godhood. There is hope in this world. Godhood is not something other than the world, Godhood is the zenith of evolution in the world.

The ancient Inward Path of the great religions saw God inwardly by the method of blocking out this world, by blocking out all the desires of the flesh so as to see the Father-Within. The Twofold Path of the TC includes the Inward Path but only as the first ancient glimpse of what Godhood will be like when attained in the Evolutionary Outward Path.

I would like to see all the fields come together in religion, that is, philosophy, art, politics, and certainly including science. In ancient times, before Homer, religion did this and it offered man lasting satisfaction, a work of art was a work of religion, the best kind of art.

Unity of the Will-To-Godhood, or Tirips, not necessarily intellectual agreement, can unite the world of separate people and separate states. Each people, each state, has its own way, its own anthropology, yet mankind can be united in evolving on earth and in the cosmos toward Godhood. Tirips is shaped differently in different environments by evolution. Humans are capable of cooperating through knowledge shared in this great mission.

The fusion of the biological origin of social behavior with conservatism is what we need

It's hard now to see signs of the fusion that once could define Western culture: Hellenism and Christianity, Natural law and religious truths, with Roman law and order. What we see now defining and ruling American culture is Wall Street investment sharks, nation-less global business, and the Big Media. Most of the investment sharks and nation-less global businessmen are libertarian, making a god of individual judgment, and individual freedom, although they do usually support military intervention anywhere to support their assets. The Media promotes both hedonism and modern liberalism or cultural Marxism, which the libertarian investment sharks and nation-less global businessmen rarely criticize. And all our schools teach and promote cultural Marxism and libertarian hedonism.  None of this looks much like the fusion that once defined Western culture.

Wallowing in the luxury of holding up signs saying “Smash the patriarchy”

Being a champion of evolution I am not against new technology but amoral modern technology didn't predict how it would gradually take away the traditional gender roles of women and men, making it possible for either gender to push the button on missiles, or robot vacuum cleaners. Meanwhile modern technology has not changed the basic biology of gender differences which remain as they have been for tens of thousands of years. Sane and rational people know that “men and women have different body structures, sexual systems and biological responses and processes”---only fools and demagogues deny it.

The radical feminist slogans “Smash the patriarchy” and “nasty women make history” are completely contrary to the largely determined (yes determined ) path of human nature and too far away from the biological origin of our social behavior. Human nature has been affirmed throughout human history to this day as being genetically and universally gender defined, as well as being kin-centered and ethnocentric. This has been ignored by the radical feminists and modern liberals.

Equal pay for equal work everyone agrees with, but things get serious when gender equality in the infantry units of the military is promoted, which becomes a real threat to protecting the lives of either gender. It has been made clear from the data gathered that the only way to have women in infantry units is to lower standards. Mixed sex-units were slower at accomplishing tasks than all male units, and musculature-skeletal differences created many more injuries in women than men. That is only a few of the problems that come from denying gender differences.

The present trend of hypertrophied feminism will prevail as long as America and the West don't need territorial defending. When we do, our excellent Special Forces will not be nearly enough in number to defend the West against assertive and aggressive males who hate the West---the Islamic terrorists aren't much bemused by feminism.

The ancient Spartans were wiser than we are in knowing that simplicity, frugality, or avoidance of constant comfort is better than wallowing in the luxury of holding up signs saying “Smash the patriarchy.” And Spartan women were well known to have far more freedom than elsewhere in the Greek world.

Naturalism as the source of ethics in the form of evolutionary conservatism

Burke said that state power on one side needs to be balanced with the self controlled individual on the other side. But how we define the ethics of the state and the ethics of the individual becomes important in the balancing.

Like most conservatives Babbitt ruled out naturalism as the source of ethics, but E.O. Wilson said regarding the biological origin of social behavior, “Human behavior . .is the circuitous technique by which human genetic material has been and will be kept intact. Morality has no other demonstrable ultimate function...The genes hold culture on a leash. The leash is very long, but inevitably values will be constrained in accordance with their effects on the human gene pool. The brain is a product of evolution.” I would add to Wilson's ultimate function of morality the highest goal of material evolution to ascending levels of Godhood.

Regarding the origin of altruism, or being for others, which is so vital in all religions, Wilson said, "Within groups, selfish individuals beat altruistic individuals, but groups of altruists beat groups of selfish individuals...Hereditary altruists form groups so cooperative and well-organized as to out-compete non-altruists groups.”

Human nature has been affirmed throughout human history to this day as being universally kin-centered, gender defined, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, among other conservative things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection followed by individual selection. This has to be taken into account when we try to balance the ethics of states and individuals.

For example, in the U. So naturalism as the source of ethics in the form of evolutionary conservatism is the best way, the most rational and instinctive way, to balance the ethics of the state and the ethics of the individual, along with the sacred goal of material evolution to ascending levels of Godhood as the ultimate function of morality.

The Rebirth of Religion (from 2013)

Early Nietzsche wondered how art could create a religion out of the spiritual vacuum of the day. But what Nietzsche said of art better applies to religion.

Nietzsche thought a rebirth of art, tragic art, was needed. Later he lost his enthusiasm, which I think might have been related to competitive problems with Wagner and it was not all due to philosophical problems. If this is true then it could have led to weakness in his later philosophy.

Nietzsche was not keen on modern religions, he especially disliked Christianity. But art alone, even great art, is not enough. Art does not fill the need of our lost religion, although great art comes close when it affirms the sacred. Philosophy and science also tried to take the place of religion. The noble Raymond Cattell sought a rebirth of religion from science.

It is religion which can best synthesize all the fields. But religion needs to include modern science, art and philosophy. Religion can best create that “sublime simplification of the world” which Nietzsche looked for in tragic art.

As Quentin Taylor said of Nietzsche's work, it is the individual consecrated to something higher than himself which is the highest function of art, philosophy, and science, but I think this is best synthesized in a great religion. We are separated, individuated, alienated, which puts man in need of coming together in religion for comfort and redemption. Science and philosophy can't communicate well a tragic art for the people, but religion and art can---religion has its sublime rituals, and art has it's tragic dramas.

A rebirth of religion is needed. Perhaps the theological materialism of the projected Theoevolutionary Church will help bring science, art, philosophy and religion back together. The material world and mankind will materially evolve on earth and in the cosmos to ascending levels of real Godhood, the Godhood first seen only virtually, as a mirror, in the inward paths of the great religions.
