If the ongoing evolution of life has
the sacred goal of evolving all the way to an ongoing Godhood then
freedom and happiness are not the goal they have been propped up to
be, but are secondary conditions which happen along the way.
"Satisfaction" might be a better word for what we can
expect as we continue to evolve toward higher forms.
Freedom and determinism
would then be conditioned by that essential activation
within life to evolve toward Godhood, which is a deterministic biological
activation defining the essence of life; satisfaction would come
from bringing life into harmony with what life is in ongoing
evolution.
The path of the ongoing
evolution of life then adapts to or adjusts to the outside environment,
which can sometimes be a random environment of obstacles, but the
activation of life to evolve in the material world to supermaterial
Godhood---which is also defined as the zenith of success in survival and reproduction---is not random.
