The lamb of the Soul has been menaced by the
wolf of the Spirit, and vice versa. But this is resolved in the
Twofold Path, the Involutionary Inward Path (Soul) and the
Evolutionary Outward Path (Spirit).
The Revealed Religions have essentially
heeded only the Inward Path and the lamb of the Soul, that is the
Path to the God-Within or the Father-Within, which can be seen only
by blocking the wolf of the Spirit of the Outward Path. But the
Outward Path of the wolf of the Spirit is the Path to Real Godhood,
and not the Path to the Virtual God of the Inward Path.
The Spirit both continues through time with survival and reproduction, and is born from living moment to living moment, something like an
inward electromagnetic force of the cells of the body, a Spirit with both a history in time
and also an eternal now, always fresh.
The Path of the Spirit must be made
conscious even though It is always there unconsciously animating us.
Why? So we can help It along It's way. The Inward Path of involution is the Path
of the Crucified, the Outward Path of evolution is the Path of the Hero.
The Theoevolutionary Church (TC)
retains the Inward Path of the Revealed Religions, specifically in
Christianity, since we are Western. This is the Way to experience
the Father Within, which can show us something of what attaining Real Godhood will be like in the Outward Path of evolution to Godhood. The ECC synthesizes the spiritual and the material. Our mission is to
introduce the Evolutionary Outward Path to the Involutionary Inward
Path, taking the menace out of both.
