The biological origin of
social behavior as defined by the evolutionary science of
sociobiology from Charles Darwin to Edward
Wilson supplies an increasingly precise basic definition of human
nature, which is universal and should be applied to natural
rights and the virtues and values of religion, philosophy, culture,
and politics. “Natural rights” are rights that are
not dependent on the laws or customs of
any particular culture or government and are universal and
inalienable.
Human nature has been
affirmed throughout human history, at least since paleolithic times
(from 2.6 million years ago to the present) as being kin-centered,
gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making,
hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making,
among other things, with group or ethnic selection as the primary
unit of successful selection.
If the rioters across
America now were demanding REAL
natural rights in accord with the
biological origin of real human nature and the biological origin of
social behavior, then the demand
for natural rights by the rioters could lead to a natural American constitutional
separation of powers and states into regional ethnostates, where real
human nature could be free to be as kin-selecting and ethnocentric as
we have always been since paleolithic times, protected by federalism.
