Is/was Trump the best we can do for a right wing movement in the U.S.​?

Trump's populist nationalism was on the right track but we need a right wing that will oppose the moral, political, and demographic crisis we are in, a right wing that will stop the massive flow of cheap labor across our borders, reject the free-market globalist corporations, go against neoliberalism, openly oppose the ideological demands of LGBTQ and feminist activists, and perhaps most importantly honor the biological origin of social behavior by taking on the damaging racial competitions disguised as calls for equality, and advocating the creation an of ethnopluralism of ethnostates for all groups, black, white, brown, yellow, or red, in harmony with real ethnocentric and xenophobic human nature, with each ethnostate protected from marauding imperialists, global businesses, supremacists, chosen, Marxists, etc., and defended by federalism. An ethnopluralism of ethnostates could be established legally in the United States with our constitutional separation of powers and states. And the right wing movement that will have to do this in the face of being called fascist, homophobe, anti-Semite, etc. etc. Is that asking too much? Nothing less will truly save us.

The simple art values of future evolution (from the archive)

High intelligence can better deal with the world and its possibilities and give us better ways of responding to life and evolution. But high intelligence needs good character as well, we need to have that intersection between the emotional parts of the brain and the abstract parts, non-feeling geniuses are not what we need. Courage is also needed so that intelligence can venture out toward new solutions, in new or old territories. And good health helps define beauty, which completes the combo. We should not be seduced into putting all our evolutionary hopes into intelligent machines (singularity) which can be a sly way of avoiding human evolution and its problems.

And we can't forget the importance of artists who can be geniuses at working with emotional responses to life in their art. But antisocial art needs to be distinguished from socially redeeming art, as Cattell pointed out, which seems like common sense but is not much considered in the suicidal modern art world. I'm not talking about a Platonic total control of art, socially redeeming art need not stunt creativity, on the contrary, it provides order to the total freedom of art creation.  For example, emotions connected to art can underline and interpret the emotions implicit in our evolution toward Godhood.

The arguments against choosing these evolutionary values seem increasingly selfish and short-sighted. These are simple conservative values---although perhaps not so simply attained---within an Ordered Evolution toward the zenith of intelligence, noble character, courage, and beauty, which helps define ascending levels of real Godhood.

The answers to the real origin of morality move from philosophy to sociobiology. The genealogy of morals follows from the biological origin of social behavior. We have been programmed by nature. Biology and the genes are the hardware and culture is the software: true religion and politics simply follow the program occasionally improvising and adapting the program. 

As long as we are alive every cell in our body demands survival and reproductive success. This natural activation can be blocked, subverted, or it can be unknown to us, but it can't legitimately be intellectually or instinctively denied.

Although now just rising again, identity politics will continue to ascend, identifying with ethnicity, nationality, race, culture and faith is the world's future. Multiculturalism would have worked if the various cultures had linked their ethnic group and race to their own territory or ethnostate.

People will see that diversity within the same state is not our greatest strength but is our weakness. The solution to the material-spiritual dilemma is to realize that we can attain Godhood directly within nature and material evolution

The solution to the material-spiritual dilemma is to realize that we can attain Godhood directly within nature and material evolution when we affirm that material evolution moves inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms, all the way toward ascending levels of Godhood---religion and science can help it along the way. But this means cutting the Gordian Knot of Augustinian (and Buddhist, Hindu etc.) insistence that there is non-material spiritual world.

There is only the material world evolving toward the supermaterial world and toward ascending levels of Godhood with starts and stops along the way. In theological materialism religion and science can legitimately unite with evolutionary politics, such as forming an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, as often affirmed in this blog. We can indeed immanentize the eschaton.

Nietzsche found two languages of morality running through varied narratives of history, the aristocratic morality of good and bad and the slavish morality of good and evil. Other thinkers thought that what is older is closer to the primordial truth. Others thought classes and nations which have reached their highest development are classical in their culture, still striving cultures are romantic, and fallen cultures show art forms of decay and a relativity of values. Some thought that cultures were highest when they were most religious, others thought cultures were best when they were racially homogeneous and fell apart when they were not. There is some truth in all of these narratives.

I believe a true single narrative of history and morality is mapped out in the following quote from the great sociobiologist Edward O. Wilson: "The genes hold culture on a leash. The abstract universal lie of equality has been the biggest cause of modern political problems

The impossible mission of attaining equality has led to totalitarian governments and endless ideological crusades.

M. E. Bradford said (Chronicles, Feb 2020) that it was “sophistry” to distinguish between equality of condition and equality of rights and opportunities, “as the first is as impossible of attainment as the latter in this world, and there is also no way of stopping short between them. Those who demand equality of rights would eventually demand equality of condition.”

Aristotle said all when he said it was unjust to treat unequal things as if they were equal. Real human nature is genetically ethnocentric, even xenophobic, as well as being kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection. How art can imitate and expand life (from the archive)

 Is “existence suspended,” in the experience of beauty, and do we become “detached” from immediate desires, is “disinterestedness” the central idea, all of which Kant suggests regarding art?

There is adaptive value to beauty which can be see n in both art and religion. One of the primary attributes of Godhood in theological materialism is to attain the zenith of beauty, along with the zenith of intelligence and the zenith of noble character. These higher values are here understood as evolved to in material and supermaterial evolution, which is where their adaptive value resides.

Contrary to Kant the “imaginative experience” of art is not detached from real biological life, it intensities, enhances, and expands life. Works of art do happen in the mind but they are not removed from biological drives and instincts. The fiction-drive relates to the beauty-instinct in the biological ways of desire. Beauty in human beings is related to good health and good health has survival and reproductive value.

Only when we trans-value and remove the definition of God from material and supermaterial life do we define beauty in art as suspended from life, after which art can only be seen in disinterestedness, which it is to many gurus. When Godhood is seen as a non-material, spiritual-only construction in the mind or soul, that is when art and religion depart from the real world.

We drifted away from didactic and moral art as we became more literate, but as evolutionary psychologists point out, story-telling had survival benefits in the Pleistocene. It still does, when we relate beauty to real biological life, evolution, and religion. There is no need to use a hammer to didactically or morally inspire us, art is usually best when it is subtle. Imagining Godhood attained in future material and supermaterial evolution has religious and artistic value, but it also has survival and reproductive value.

Realistic peace

In his essay “Two Concepts of Peace,” (Modern Age, Winter 2020), Jared Morgan McKinney examined “peace is the result of pacification. It occurs when the strong forces the inferior to submit and offer supplication. It is the peace of hierarchy and command.” And peace as “mutual identification, mutual flourishing, mutual submission, and mutual supplication. It is the peace of equality and cooperation.” After examining the history of war and peace McKinney ends by saying “as Hobbes himself understood, it is the face of death that can tame man’s desire for the peace of dominance, making possible the peace of equality—at least for a time.”

That seems realistic to me as far as it goes, but when we are talking concepts of peace and war the biological origin of social behavior needs to be included as vital in defining human nature and human history because the biological origin of social behavior ends up determining peace and war. The science of sociobiology has shown us that human nature developed many thousands of years ago and even the smallest change in human nature and our DNA structure, for example, in our immune system, takes hundreds of thousands of years. We remain genetically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection followed by individual selection.

Surely the biological origin of social behavior needs to be included when discussing concepts of peace and war. Although now just rising, identity politics and re-identifying with ethnicity, nationality, race, culture and faith is the world's future. People will see that racial and ethnic diversity within the same state is not our greatest strength but is our weakness. Will we face and accept the reality of the humaneness of ethnostates in harmony with the biological origin of social behavior or will we fall into the constant chaos of civil strife and open racial civil war? Metaphysical hypochondria

Postmodern novelist Michel Houellebecq and other postmodernists seem to be suffering from metaphysical hypochondria concerning the so-called meaninglessness of life. After having rejected the “metanarratives” of religion, science, and everything else, they spend their time moaning about the post-Christian, postindustrial world and a Western nothingness that does not in reality exist.

The biological origin of our social behavior as empirically explained by sociobiology actually ends the intellectual defense of postmodern relativism. The idea of a "relativity" of values often comes from the various social and cultural methods we try (including postmodernism) to biologically and genetically advance our kin, related ethnic group, locality and nation.

The real danger in advanced modern societies comes from the Marxism (demanding equality for the unequal), radical feminism (demanding biologically unnatural roles for women), homosexuality (demanding unnatural sexual life styles) and postmodern relativism (demanding an unnatural relativity of values) which have led to biologically and culturally diseased societies. Cultures can operate for a time with behavior that goes against human nature with such experiments as these but the cultures are eventually pulled back by the biological and genetic leash of real human nature to cultures that better reflect real human nature, and humans then work within and adapt to the environments they find themselves living in.

Human nature has been affirmed throughout human history as being kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, and religious-making, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection. If a culture proposes to not include these things the culture does not last long and it will always return to these things.

This suggests that real human nature leads naturally to the cultural expression of regionalism, localism, and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, protected by some sort of federalism. Given who we are this appears to be the best way we can optimize the gene expression we inherited from our ancestors, which drives us.

As to a lost God, evolution moves inevitably in a pattern, even though it has its random elements, and the pattern has a discernible direction, in spite of instances of stagnation and retreat, toward higher and higher more effective living forms, all the way to ascending levels of non-spiritual, supermaterial, Godhood.

Beyond Spengler (from the archive)

Oswald Spengler (1880-1936) was brilliant in finding cyclic patterns and similarities between the rise and fall of various civilizations, but I don't admire Spengler's complete rejection of the “Idea of Progress.” I think there can be both cycles and progress, like a winding path up a mountain which sometimes descends before it rises again.  Evolution is the basis for accepting the idea of progress, life has evolved from the simple to the complex, and although modern human advances in saving lives has slowed harsh natural selection, progress in evolution continues.

Spengler speaks of a “mysterious cosmic force” that influences man, but he does not at all tie it to biology. I define the activation within life of material Tirips or the Will, which is tied to biology, and is later shaped by evolution. This is the force that is universal within life and is therefore within distinct civilizations and cultures. Universal evolution does not suggest only one people or one civilization, which could be destroyed by one disease or one disaster. Human evolution has always worked within a variety of people and cultures, each evolving in there own fashion---we would hope that their independence could be protected by a defensive federalism, while cooperating with one another in the overall evolution of human beings, even evolving into new species out into the cosmos, as Raymond Cattell suggested. 

Evolution also answers Spengler's attempt to define the “Prime Symbol” of each distinct civilization, eg. Faustian-Western, Apollinian-Greco-Roman, Magian-Arabian, etc. The real prime symbol is the universal symbol of evolving life, the activation within life of material Tirips to ascending levels of supermaterial Godhood which activates all life forms, even when each culture and civilization is uniquely shaped by evolution in its own environment and by its own genetic traits. Spengler thinks real unity is more cultural than biological, when the reality is the other way around, there is a biological origin behind cultural creations which basically enhances survival and reproduction, and ultimately enhances success in the sacred drive to evolve toward Godhood. As Wilmot Robertson suggested we could continue to counter Spengler's prediction of inevitable fall in solving the age old problem of union in America by forming an ethnopluralism of ethnostates perhaps adapted from our Constitutional separation of powers and states, for all groups, black, white, brown, yellow, or red, and then protect the ethnostates from marauding imperialists, supremacists, global money grubbers, and social justice warriors, with a defensive federalism.

We can pay attention to the signs and cycles of the rise and decline of civilizations, which Spengler was brilliant in finding, such as the deterioration of the roots and traditions of the founders, the fall in birthrates, the rise of dictatorships, etc. but it is the ongoing evolution of  life and in various group selections on the sacred path to Godhood which counters the ominous pessimism of Spengler.

Both diversity and equality have been misdefined

 Diversity is a good thing in natural evolution, it gives the population a buffer against change so a population is better able to adapt to new environments, a higher variability of alleles can better adapt and evolve in a new environment. But in the postmodern world diversity is just another word for equality. And diversity and equality don't work in multicultural multiracial societies where the gain of one ethnic group is offset by the loss of another ethnic group, with much cruel social discord in the process.

The aristocratic ideal had the realistic common sense idea that some things, places, people, and ideas are better at some things than others. That should be a big part of defining both diversity and equality.

Adapting a clue from Denis Dutton's writing on art, I'm thinking that it might make sense to drop the nature/nurture arguments of evolutionary theory and say this: culture is an enhancement or codification of natural ancient genetic traits, influenced by the environment. Not a duality but a whole. Culture can then in turn influence genetic traits. Biology leads this dynamic. So the Wilsonian definition of sociobiology as the study of the biological origin of social behavior still stands.....Now if we can get people to take a serious look at activating purpose along with random selection in evolution, toward higher and higher consciousness and intelligence, all the way to Godhood, then the duality between religion and science can also be made whole.

How theological materialism unites religion, art, science, and politics

Theological materialism brings back the lost religious, ethical, conservative, view of civilization without placing the spiritual world over the material world. Theological materialism denies the non-material spiritual God and affirms ascending levels of a material Godhood evolved to in the material and supermaterial world. Theological materialism includes the sociobiological view of human nature which affirms the biological origin of social behavior. Human nature developed many thousands of years ago and remains in general kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of selection followed by individual selection.

Artists can express more of real genetically derived human nature. This expression might actually exhume a more classic kind of evolutionary realism, poetic realism, not unlike ancient idealistic classical realism yet steeped in naturalism as studied by sociobiology, that is, real nature, real human nature, but with the subjects infused with the upward climb of evolution toward Godhood, and with Godhood portrayed as the beautiful supermaterial zenith of material evolution. This way religious art, ultimately the highest form of art, can remain as it has always been, an affirmation of the sacred.  

Transforming the socially destructive aspects of ethnic or racial competition

In replacing worn-out American ideologies the indications point toward ethnostatism and an ethnopluralism of ethnostates. To do this we will have to accept that real human nature is ethnocentric, racial, and even xenophobic. As Wilmot Robertson put it in "The Ethnostate,” we could halt and reverse the decline of America by transforming the socially destructive aspects of ethnic or racial competition into developing socially constructive ethnostates. It is like stimulating immune response by use of the so called infectious agent of “racism.”

Art may not always be created to affirm the identity of the culture the artist lives within, but in art history the best art did this. It's true that Shakespeare was interested in theatrical entertainment, but he was also affirming Elizabethan culture. Great art affirms the sacred elements within the culture, and low art does this too in a less sophisticated way, or art used to do this, before globalism and internationalism made people and cultures less isolated.

It is mainly that old cultural Marxism behind the modern Western denial of differences in people and the rejection of any biological or ethnic connection with the creation of cultures, even as it demands no comparison with “evil' Western culture in the art of non-Western people, which contradicts the idea of there being no differences between people. This leads to a jumble of art, at least in the West, with no discernible cultural identity and it certainly does not reflect what is sacred in the culture---modern art reflects the chaos of the relativity of modern culture, and that is not even art.

Modern art philosophers want to leave biology out of art philosophy (and everything else) and say that culture alone creates the differences in identities. Art is a universal instinct and contains many of the same elements in all cultures, even so, the genetic traits of the artist, and his ethnic group, affect the kind of art the artist creates.

Every person and every culture at least unconsciously seems to want to claim what works for them to be good for everyone---this is the natural will to power working.  The way to deal with it is not to deny it, or call it evil ethnocentrism, but to allow the natural separations of people and cultures, where each people can affirm their own people, culture, and art.  This is what developed the best art overall in human history.

The great deceptions of Biden

 Four forces of deception control the Biden political agenda, the Globalist business deception, the Black Lives Matter deception, the green new deal deception, and the deception concerning real human nature. Many of the individuals involved do not see the deception.

The Globalist business deception finances Biden and the democrats and uses the Black Lives Matter movement as a front line racial battering ram against the populist economic nationalism of men like Trump.

The green new deal is the deception of man-made global warming to advance a socialist agenda. The rise in temperatures is mainly part of a larger a saw-tooth shape macro cycle seen with samples taken from ice cores over 450,000 years. Human activity has in fact increased greenhouse gases and warming but the rise in temperatures is mainly part of that larger macro cycle.

The fourth deception is the deception against real human nature. Real human nature contains not only big gender differences, but is kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, among other things, with group-selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection. For example, the fourth deception against real human nature hides the racial will to power of the Black Lives Matter movement masqueraded as only a movement toward equality. I worry that a Biden presidency with all its deceptions and with its open borders and globalism will overwhelm and destroy white Americans and white American culture. Postmodernism rejects “metanarratives” saying that something is always left out to in order to make an integrative total narrative, therefore all integrated narratives are criticized and rejected by postmodernism---the metanarrative of postmodernism is the exception to their rule.

As William Lind put it postmodern “critical theory” (including “critical race theory”) is basically the theory to criticize, to “submit every aspect of Western culture to constant, unremitting criticism, so it would be discredited to the point where people would abandon the ways of thinking and living it embodied.”

As long as we are alive every cell in our body demands survival and reproductive success. When we look at the fences, barriers, and boarding going up bracing for the violence and unrest should the president win the election, we see the undemocratic nature of the Antifa /Black Lives Matter movement as the instigators of this violence and unrest. Is this the inevitable foul fate of open democracies? The ancient Greeks thought so.

We have the big problem of a growing disparity between distinctly different and expanding ethnic groups who are bitterly competing with one another at the expense of national harmony. It makes me wonder the Ancient Greeks knew something we don't know when they disliked democracies; but then I remember that a better way to judge democracy is to evaluate how well democracy accords with real human nature as defined by the science of sociobiology.

My conservative instincts and my mind tell me that in order to conserve traditional America changes are necessary. Art is an imitation of some sort, as Aristotle thought, but more importantly art values the thing represented, the content of the thing represented. For example, great art is often an affirmation of the sacred as defined by the culture. In traditional or classical art, low art it usually a less sophisticated version of high art. In modern times most art is minor or low art which usually negates or denies the sacred.

Realism remains the best way to affirm the sacred, but then Evolutionary Realism takes into account change within the Ordered Evolution of life, which is the authentic conservative perspective. Unrealistic art can of course affirm the sacred but it is less suited to reaching the people and the culture with its message.

Hume thought the principles of taste are generally uniform in human nature but human nature is capable of corruption, systematic mistakes, and ethnic differences (for more on this see the excellent "The Art Instinct" by David Dutton). Without real human nature judgments on art would collapse into personal preferences---interesting that postmodernism has rejected human nature and rejected essences and therefore promotes a complete relativity in taste.

What does that do to conservative philosophy and literature? It keeps philosophy and literature ultimately centered on the higher goals which great philosophy and literature should examine but life is freed from the great spiritual blockade and allowed to get on with the vital business of evolving to ascending levels Godhood in the material and supermaterial world---this time with the help of synthesizing with the material sciences. That is what the philosophy of theological materialism offers.

The supremacy or imperial dominance of one race over all others, whether noble, chosen or savage, it is a bad survival and reproductive strategy, especially in today's overcrowded world, the unincluded groups always gang up on and defeat the supremacy-claiming group, and on it goes.

In any case people don't bond with imperial empires, empires are too far removed from local people for natural altruism to work. But the exploiters and marauders of the earth prefer empires, which they selfishly dominate, and, irony of ironies, they often pursue for ethnocentric reasons. Empires always fall apart and reform into ethnostates, or an ethnopluralism of ethnostates, as an honest reading of history shows us. But any ethnopluralism needs to be strongly protected and defended from marauding empires.

Racial supremacism was a big problem for the fascists, they couldn't find a way other than to apply racial supremacism to deal with ethnocentric human nature in a world of diverse races. Humans have been ethnocentric and racialist since humans became humans because in the old tribal days ethnic or group-selection was the best way for individuals to successfully survive, so altruism, or being for others, was naturally limited mainly to kin and ethnic group because they shared the same genes which strive for successful survival and reproduction. Those genes are still with us today.

It would be better to talk of un-assimilating differences rather than about superiority/inferiority, and it would be better long-term strategy to promote an ethnopluralism of ethnostates.  The Renaissance tradition of art was considered “repugnant” and a “ghastly mistake” by Braque and Picasso. What colossal arrogance. Soon other artists were banishing color and form, and then art became purely abstract. These artists sensed an opportunity to advance themselves, and I emphasize themselves, and art dealers on the edge, various hucksters, and art critics were happy to follow them for the same largely selfish reasons, and sticking it to the “establishment” was part of the deal.

Society needs to be allowed to tell the difference between social and anti-social art, just as it needs to be able to judge anti-social criminals and non-criminals. It has been suggested that Chimpanzee's create “art” mainly out of the joy of disruption, they are not interested in the art later. Modern art is on that same continuum.

Creativity is of course good, invention is good, but human survival still greatly depends on the culture it possesses. The cross-cultural center for all cultures remains human nature, which remains essentially the same as when it was developed during the million or so years of the Pleistocene. Group selection remains the primary unit of selection and individual selection follows after. In general creativity and change need to be evolutionary not revolutionary.  It is the affirmation of what is held sacred by humans that has defined high art throughout human history, which advanced humans and human cultures, and it desperately needs to again.

 Politics, economics, and religion were one in the embedded religions of ancient times, like the Greek and Roman religion or Mesopotamian and Northern European religions, and even in the middle ages with Catholic scholasticism. Then came the specialties which split the total world view and made the renaissance man and the total world view obsolete.

Theological materialism presents an all-inclusive total religion more or less placed in the worldview of philosophical naturalism with the difference being that philosophical naturalism is generally irreligious, and theological materialism is religious in seeing Godhood as the goal of material evolution, first mirrored in the Father-Within of traditional religion.

God or Godhood can also be defined by physics and philosophical naturalism. Causality is part of science, but causality is also part of religion in that physical events have prior causes that can be explained by the same thing in religion or science. An organism obeys the laws of physics. Life, consciousnesses, motivations, etc. can be explained both scientifically and religiously as caused by the same activation of the material/supermaterial drive within life, which I have called Tirips, which works along with outside natural selection and evolution---religion can join science and science can join religion.

The deepest reading of the Revealed Religions centers on an Inward God not an Outward God, which is limiting. The Inward God is the image or blissful experience of the Outward God (opposite Plato), and outward Godhood can exist as a supreme supermaterial living object, or objects, evolved to in material nature. Both Paths are contained within the Twofold Path of theological materialism.  Godhood is not an immaterial entity, as it is with Aristotle, Aquinas and even Darwin.

This means that nature encompasses the activity of Tirips and Godhood, as well as everything that exists in space and time, and all of this consists of natural elements, including ideas and mathematics---and they all operate by the laws of physics, discovered and yet to be discovered. Ascending levels of Godhood are in nature, Godhood can be evolved to at the zenith of evolved nature. Godhood is not immaterial but is supermaterial.

I agree with the evolutionary psychologists in seeing art as a special element of our instincts, with the survival value of art provided by not a single genetic impulse but, as Denis Dutton pointed out it is a complicated ensemble of impulses involving response to the environment, appeals to color and sound, social status, puzzles, erotic interests, etc. It is almost impossible to make a rational system out of it.

But some evolutionary thinkers then go on to say that the greatest art sets us above the instincts that make the art possible, and that art transcends our animal selves. They would probably say the same about religion. But this is where the ideal of the instincts, the Will, or Tirips enters the picture. The activation of life inwardly by Tirips (the Will-To-Godhood) is the zenith of the material instincts, virtually a supermaterial instinct, shaped by outside evolution and natural selection, which seeks ascending levels of Godhood as the greatest possible success in survival and reproduction. This is how both art and religion are activated by a sacred instinct, the zenith of the material instincts, which can affirm and define the greatest art and religion as an affirmation of the sacred.

 Obviously the future evolution of life and specifically human life is a complicated synthesis of human nature, the environment, and the biological origin of social behavior, but first we have to survive, and surviving depends on correctly defining real human nature so we can know which social structures will work best with human nature, that is, which social structures will lead to survival and reproductive success for distinctly different ethnic groups and races now competing on earth.

Raymond Cattell remarked that we seem genetically unadapted to large altruistic societies, yet man has a natural tendency toward tenderness and protectiveness and altruism toward kith and kin. This is one of the biological pillars of the political argument for localism and small ethnostates over large multicultural states: localism and regionalism are the most natural way to hold civilization together with natural altruistic group behavior, and better keep us from the selfish anti-social behavior which happens in large groups.

The latest fashion of machine technology seems to proceed in direct proportion to the devaluation of human biological evolution. I am not against technology but the evolution of biological man needs to be valued higher than the evolution of machines. Technology is only an aid in the evolution of life, even if the restrictions of political correctness (cultural Marxism) make it difficult to say so. Life and evolution need defending. The Great Spiritual Blockade to real Godhood needs to be unblocked.

There is something fishy about “singularity” or machines evolving to be as intelligent as humans. It makes it look like humanity is too scared to advance intelligent humans and beyond, rather than (or as well as) advancing machines. It seems like a cunning bypass of the subject of future genetics because it is a politically incorrect subject and doesn't fit various agendas. We have to get over the abuse of genetics and eugenics of World War II, truly healthy people don't dwell on such negative things as a way of life.

We can use technology to help advance humans, but to become machines and possibly therefore lose future human evolution sounds a bit sick. We seem to be allowing deceitful nerds with media power to determine our future. Let's have a little courage and begin to at least talk about the great evolution of real life toward Godhood, only aided by intelligent machines. It's actually a religious mission.

The future superstructure of genetics and bio-engineering need to rest on the evolutionary base of biology, and not become a new artificial structure without a natural base, arrogantly overlooking the biological origin of social behavior. We can enhance our genetic and biological capabilities endlessly as we evolve toward Godhood, but if we upload ourselves into silicone chips we could end natural evolutionary life, which is a diabolical end.

There seems to be something almost paranoid about those who see racism behind any talk of the improvement of hereditary qualities, which is taken to the point of preferring artificial evolution to biological evolution. A very cynical reading could also see those who wish to stop the evolutionary biological improvement of hereditary qualities as an underhanded way to enhance their own genes, consciously or unconsciously, by stopping the advancement of others.

Ethics can be inferred from evolutionary history (what else?) otherwise we attempt to go beyond nature itself. As Cattell said, this does not mean we will not move beyond the human species---ethnocentrism, for example, is a conservative stopping off place to secure beneficial mutations before moving on to the next stage, the next pause, the next species.

Is there a direction to evolution? The evolutionary process has shown a direction toward higher, more complex, more intelligent, more conscious forms, in spite of occasional backward going and stagnation. Evolution gives us hints of direction so we may aid evolution in the direction it is going, applying the sciences of sociobiology and genetics.

Cattell's “ Beyondism" seems to suggest that progress is blind, and he thought we can therefore only speak of “going beyond” what we are. I believe that life and evolution show a religious goal of attaining the supreme survival success of ascending levels of Godhood by way of evolving in the material and supermaterial world, activated from within, and shaped by by natural selection and evolution from without.

 

This means ascending levels of Godhood from man to superman to supermaterial Gods and not a transcendence from material life to non-material ''spiritual" life.

We can learn to prevent the decline and early death of a variety of people, ethnic groups, and societies by understanding the social and biological patterns that bring collapse, and by applying voluntary population control and genetics. We can help prevent negative ends, but we can also civilize the beast and seek positive ends, even as we recognize that competition, separation, and distinctiveness are a good thing on the evolutionary path to Godhood.

Why I have a problem with the libertarian stand on individualism

The neo-Darwinist science of sociobiology has reiterated the reality that human nature has favored group selection, or ethnic altruism, as the best way for individuals to be successful in survival and reproduction. So human nature became genetically kin-centered and ethnic-centered, even xenophobic, as well as being genetically gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, and religious-making, with group-selection and ethnic selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection.

Individual rights are important but they should not be inflated over group rights, both biology and common sense tell us that the individual cannot survive without the group. Group selection is the basic creator of altruistic ethics within groups competing with other groups, where the most internally cohesive groups are more successful than those that are not.

Human nature lines up well with biological or evolutionary conservatism, not with the overemphasized Romantic individualism of Rousseau. When Tucker Carlson attacks “identity politics” by overemphasizing individualism, that encourages the same selfish narcissism in American culture and in the business world that has been ruining us.

The melting pot didn't melt and when that didn't work the American mosaic, or pluralist society, took its place, but that didn't work either and caused much social disorder, because human nature is biological kin and ethnic centered and tends to want every group to assimilate away its uniqueness except its own. Clueless modern liberals still promote both pluralist societies and universal equality. Libertarians and Conservatives do the same but try to bring in a neutered nationalism of creedal individualism rather than solid conservative biological bonds. Conservatives instead center on the family in contrast to individualism, which is of course important, but family values are not enough to hold society together.

Since group-selection---which usually means ethnic selection---is the primary unit of successful selection, group-selection is a serious omission within conservatism which has driven too many energetic natural conservatives away from conservatism and down radical paths that feature ethnicity and race but overlook or downplay other basic parts of conservative human nature, like maintaining long established customs and habits, and not radical formats.

I tend to like Camille Paglia's straight-shooting kind of feminism which respects gender differences, although she is public lesbian.  Paglia believes, like Freud, that the pagan exists beneath our repressed Judeo-Christian culture and she champions art which celebrates the pagan, or her interpretation of paganism, as she praised Madonna a few decades ago. Our culture does repress many of the drives and instincts of basic human nature and one can almost see why white Eminem would choose black rap as a means of more open expression.

Although I don't really like to reach into the private sexual preferences of anyone, homosexuality actually represses real human nature.  Homosexuality is, in essence, the sexual preference for achieving orgasm with the same-gender, which is a sexual activity distant from the central survival and reproductive drives that monopolize real human nature; orgasm was evolved as an incentive for reproduction. When the same-gender sexual preference is elevated and promoted as a whole life style it blocks or subverts the larger basic elements of human nature, reducing their importance and corrupting human nature and human behavior.

Human nature developed many thousands of years ago and even the smallest change in human nature and our DNA structure, for example, in our immune system, takes hundreds of thousands of years. We remain genetically kin-centered, gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual marriage-making, hierarchical, ethnocentric, even xenophobic, among other things,with group-selection as the primary unit of selection. Exclusively promoting sexuality or violence or androgyny or homosexuality actually represses much of real human nature, pagan or otherwise.  Let's have artists---and critics--- who express and don't repress more of real genetically derived human nature. This more real expression might actually exhume a more classic kind of evolutionary realism in art related to more traditional human nature and culture.

 

A better way to look at the cultural life of man than through the artistic dualities of rational Apollo and wild Dionysus

In early Nietzsche's “The Birth of Tragedy: Out of the Spirit of Music” the Apollonian gives form to the formless Dionysian and both were needed to create a whole man in a whole culture. Later Nietzsche more or less rejected the rational Apollonian in favor of the wild Dionysian, which was a mistake. But the duality was unclear to begin with.

Sociobiologist Edward O. Wilson told us that "the genes hold culture on a leash. The leash is very long, but inevitably values will be constrained in accordance with their effects on the human gene pool...” Human nature is biologically kin-centered and ethnic-centered, even xenophobic, as well as being genetically gender defined, age-graded, heterosexual, marriage-making, hierarchical, and religious-making, with group-selection and ethnic selection as the primary unit of successful selection, followed by individual selection.

Professor Raymond Cattell found that new cultural creations tend to be the work of genetically/culturally superior intelligences and are developed in two main ways: cultural creations as outlets for frustrations, such as poetry, music, drama (p-culture), and cultural creations that are more adaptive to fit us to the environment, engineering, medicine, science (r-culture), not “merely” an “outlet.” These cultural inventions from superior intelligences tend to require more complex adjustments for the general population than the general population tend to be genetically suited for---Cattell calls this “genetic lag.”

Cattell suggests that we deal with these frustrating discrepancies by improving the genetic composition of a population to help reduce the frustrations, which can spill over into many social problems, including revolutions. It's like having foresight that can lesson the morbidity rate of the group rather than as we see today where people and cultures just painfully die.

I think that is a better way to look at the cultural life of man than through the artistic dualities of rational Apollo and wild Dionysus. Then we can add religion featuring the material evolution of life to ascending levels of Godhood as the sacred goal of all life and create cultures even superior to the ancient Greeks.

My religious philosophy simply stated

Simply stated, Tirips or the will, which is material and within every cell of the body, is reborn in the physical body in procreation and reproduction, with its primary task of activating the body to evolve to ascending levels of Godhood while being shaped outwardly by natural selection and evolutionary mutations. Then Tirips is born in new bodies, and so on. This has happened since the beginning of the unending cosmos, leading ultimately to the evolution of life to ascending levels of Godhood, which is the sacred goal of all life. A civilizational and cultural totality derives from this religious philosophy of aiding the evolution of life to Godhood, which brings religion and science together. The biological origin of social behavior then suggests that ethnostatism, with an ethnopluralism of protected ethnostates, is the most humane and rational way for humans to live and evolve, given kin and ethnic centered human nature.
