Real Being is lost in abstractions

Getting back to reality in religion and politics largely means rejecting or at least transforming old unreal abstractions. The abstractions of science, religion, and philosophy are only mirrors of real life and only secondary to real life, not the other way around. We have inherited a spiritual nothingness of abstractions from traditional religions, from Plato, and their followers, and even from science.

Modern liberalism is based on arguments derived mainly from the universalist egalitarian abstractions of the the French Revolution not on reality, conservatism is more real but its deepest arguments are based on the unreal abstractions of spiritual faith.

Abstractions and formulas are secondary to the real thing or the real object, which they should be describing. The universals and abstractions which many traditions are based on are hollow and don't really exist as actual material or supermaterial objects. Even the peak ascetic experiences are turned into hollow abstractions.

I see Heidegger's idea of Being as Time in line with that tendency of intellectuals to overlook the fact that the “names” of things are an abstraction which only point toward the reality of the thing named---the abstract name is not the thing-in-itself.

The history of religion and philosophy is the history of the oblivion of the real object. Given the oblivion of the real object in religion and philosophy it is no wonder that materialism rejected religion and much of philosophy. But in rejecting religion, materialism ended up with empty abstractions.

The real object has been lost in almost diabolical abstractions, which means that Real Being is lost in abstractions. Godhood, religion, truth, need not be lost when we bring our thinking back to real, evolving, material objects. Yes, we must use mathematical abstractions to technically run the world, but mathematics should not replace real objects or become an abstract religion.

We know that living objects exist in the world having evolved from the simple to the complex, and it is realistic to say, without abstraction, that a hierarchy of such living objects exist or can exist in the cosmos where ascending levels of Godhood dwell or can dwell, not as abstractions, but as real evolved supermaterial objects.
