Truth, beauty, change, and essence
Can we say truth is about what does not
change? There's a problem with that. Things always change and
evolve. So perfect objectivity seems dubious. Real truth includes
change. Even when Godhood is attained in material evolution, life
moves on and evolves to higher Godhood, endlessly it seems.
"Beauty" works the same way.
Rather than say that beauty is the most characteristic of the
species, it might be better to say that beauty is the synthesis of
the particular species at various levels of evolution. Godhood could
then be seen as the most perfect syntheses of life itself at the
highest stages of evolution at any given stage of evolution.
Only humans think in terms of
beginnings and endings because we see ourselves ending and beginning,
at least as individuals.
So then we come to the "essence "
of life which seems to be the activation to life within life, called
many things, the will, the spirit, the soul, the spirit-will, or
Tirips as I have come to call it, which is entirely material and
works along with the outside material natural world in which life
evolves. Yet even this essence has the changing goal of activating
life toward Godhood, endlessly.
