Hegel and the communists don't own the
dialectics. Material evolution is the deepest dialectics, and
conservatism can maintain the past as it moves toward the future. Biological evolution moves through the thesis, antithesis and synthesis but then
on toward another thesis.
The ultimate synthesis is Godhood
evolved to in the material and supermaterial world, but then even
Godhood evolves on to the next level of Godhood. It is human beings,
who are mortal, who provincially insist on beginnings and endings.
But there is no end or beginning to evolution, dialectics,
conservatism or theology.
