And the Romantic attempt to get back to natural laws coming more directly from human nature was also a relief from laws gone far away from human nature. Today this is seen in the field of sociobiology, which I affirm here, thirty years since E.O. Wilson introduced this deepening of Darwinism.
Unlike much of Romanticism I do not see equality of condition as a natural goal, but I do affirm equality of opportunity, which more closely follows human nature in nature. I see all of nature evolving to Godhood, and not moving toward a communist or fascist utopia.
In the Twofold Path we take the past with us into the future, this is Revitalized Conservatism. The Romantics were too willing to apply radical means to establish unrealistic utopias.
