The idealistic realism of theological materialism
Neoconservative Leo Strauss used the
term "idealistic realism," which became empire building and
was not conservative. But I would keep the term and describe
theological materialism as idealistic realism.
In the Twofold Path, the Outward Path of evolving toward Godhood is defined as realism and
materialism/supermaterialism, while still conservatively retaining
the ancient Inward Path to the God Within, which was the first
ascetic symbolic experience of God.
In the Outward Path real Godhood can be
reached and is reached by evolved living beings at the zenith of
material evolution, which is not an inward-only, non-material,
spiritual idealism, and not a Marxian political classless Utopia, and
also not a neoconservative cabal-led world empire.
On earth we can set ourselves up in an
ethnopluralism of ethnostates as the most equitable way to evolve and
harmonize with real human nature, which remains kin-centered
and ethnocentric in spite of widespread cynical idealistic propaganda
saying otherwise.
That
is the idealistic realism of theological materialism.
