Genes, Epigenetic Markers, and Divine Law

We are told that epigenetic markers sitting atop the genes can turn on or off the genes, based on environmental pressures, but the genes themselves take far longer in natural selection to change.

In  the Evolutionary Christian Church  the genes themselves are thought of as determined in essence by the activation of the Spirit-Within which seeks to activate all life to evolve to Godhood, the Zenith of evolution in the Kosmos.

For us, natural law is determined by Divine Law, and natural law is like those epigenetic markers sitting atop Divine Law. Natural law may turn on or off Divine Law based on the needs or pressures of the natural world, but it cannot change the determinism of Divine Law.
