How art and creativity validate conservative philosophy (from the archive)

Is high art refined low art/folk art, or is low art simplified high art? High art seems to be a superstructure built over the structure of folk art.

What we appear to do is assimilate the new, the unfamiliar, with the old material of our experience, this seems to be where creativity comes from, new patterns formed between old material and new material.

We don't see something in the outer world and declare that new thing alone as a new thing, it has to first harmonize and adapt with our inner world.

Was there a time when high and low art were one art? When did they become unconnected? Natural hierarchies form and develop their own values. And also the homogenizing and globalization of human cultures had something to do with these changes.

Even the Church did this sort of thing when they built the pagan values of wisdom, courage, temperance and justice on to the Christian virtues of faith, hope, charity and love.

I suppose in ideal cultures both high and low art exist, with low art as a less refined version of high art, which makes for a more harmonizing, assimilating culture of various classes of people who generally affirm the same values.

This natural dynamic of assimilating the new, the unfamiliar, with the old material of our experience, validates the conservative philosophy in creativity.

The strengths and weaknesses of Russian and Western conservatism

Russian conservatism and Western conservatism have their strengths and weaknesses. Both don't respect science enough do mainly to their religious views; this means that both don't respect the evolutionary biological origin of social behavior which includes the origin of religion, although Russian conservatives rightly affirm ethnic nationalism. Russian conservatives are too enamored with imperialism, and Western conservatives love money, although the free enterprise capitalism is superior.

My view of the absolute importance of human evolution kept me away from the brilliant seduction of the Traditionalist School which is where the Alt-right turned. Many have now gone over to the school of Guenon, Evola, and the Russian Dugin, and embraced a non-populist, old spiritual religious, imperialist, hierarchy of rule, and have downplayed or even rejected the idea of science and evolutionary progress. Why didn't the Alt-right feature more Western geniuses, men like the brilliant British/American psychologist Raymond Cattell, or the great Neo-Darwinist field of sociobiology, rather than converting to the West-disparaging Russian imperialist Aleksandr Dugin and his Traditionalist School teachers, Guénon and Evola who did not find science (a jewel of the West) nearly as important as Eastern spiritualism (a jewel of the East).

Evolutionary conservatism believes that if real kin and ethnic-centered human nature was allowed to be what it is, it would naturally lead to regionalism, localism, general conservative values, eventually ethnostates, and finally an ethnopluralism of ethnostates for all groups, black, white, brown, yellow, or red, with each ethnostate protected from marauding imperialists, global businesses, supremacists, Marxists, etc., and defended by a defensive federalism. An ethnopluralism of ethnostates could be established legally in the United States with our constitutional separation of powers and states.

The goal of evolving to Godhood need not deprive us of either science or religion. When Godhood is seen as a naturalistic and theological goal, the goal of evolution, then biology and theology need not settle for the empty spiritualism. Nature and philosophy can be seen as life materially evolving toward ascending levels of Godhood, and we can all get on with the religious goal of of evolving toward Godhood.

DC Comics usher in a gay white superman

 “Superman Comes Out," read the headline, and it was not a joke. I'll bet if superman was black this would not have happened. This is a “woke” attack on a hero of the white man. There seems to be no limit on how much humiliation white men will take from these minority-driven cultural and racial attacks. Today white men have no real defense against their growing dispossession.

Conservatism was the movement to sustain the community in all ways and to ensure the community’s long-term survival, but conservatism virtually left out conserving the biology of the community, the genes, the genetic pool, the ethnic group that defines the community. Conservatism defended religion and high culture against the materialist doctrine of progress but---inspired by its universalist religion---conservatism forgot about conserving the materialism that makes up the genes, the genetic pool, and the ethnic group of the community. The Black Lives Matter movement and its white-woke-cuckold followers doesn't have that problem.

The future of religion transformed (from the archive)

Matter is energy, but energy is matter. There would be no matter without energy but also no energy without matter. Do we really want to rate one higher than the other? I would then rate living matter as more evolved than simple energy. Spiritualism turns the real material world upside-down and claims that the religious/philosophical ideal is not really material, is not matter, or is more sacred energy than lowly matter. They claim that their supreme ideas are non-material and Godlike, or even God.

Why the hatred of the material world even to the point of blocking all material desires or blocking all life, at least for ascetics? They do it so that they can dwell in the blissful bodily experience of supreme ideas, unbothered and unaffected by material desires. It is a cloistered world ultimately driven by hedonism.

The main problem with traditional asceticism is that it blocks the path of material evolution to real supermaterial Godhood, which requires material desires, but channeled desires that need to genetically and culturally funnel evolving life-forms toward the supermaterial zenith of beauty, truth and goodness. This allows material science to enter religion as a help-mate. That is the future of religion transformed.

We can conservatively keep the old ascetic inward path to the "god" within in the Twofold Path, but only as a symbolic glimpse of the real Godhood reached in the outward path of material evolution to real Godhood.

Spirit is Matter

Matter was Spirit to Teilhard de Chardin. He believed he had resolved a core conflict of the split between Matter and Spirit, between Body and Soul. He believed he understood that the evolution of matter was one and the same with the evolution of spirit (consciousness).

Theological materialism sees it the opposite way: spirit is matter, there is no spirit. Spirit and matter are of one essence and not dualistic, just as energy can “freeze” into matter, and matter can unfreeze into energy. It's not really accurate to say that matter is the inferior aspect of spirit and spirit the superior aspect of matter, spirit is really super-materiality and not something apart from matter. This means you really can't define spirit and matter as good and evil, but you can define matter as evolved and unevolved. Evolution is the activation of the will to life within matter to evolve to Godhood, working along with outside evolution and national selection. Godhood is ascending levels of super-materiality.

 

Biden's grievous destruction of American culture by immigration

With his wide open border policies flooding the country with Haitians and Mexicans, President Biden and his fellow travelers are committing the most grievous destruction of American culture since Edward “Ted” Kennedy's Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965, which killed the long-standing national-origin immigration quotas that favored those from northern and western Europe. And this conquest through immigration pushed by Biden is happening not because Biden has obvious old age cognitive difficulties, and not because for years he has been one of the stupidious and most dishonest politicians in Washington, this is a purposeful flooding of the country to change the country. As the people change the culture changes. As the demographics change the culture changes. This is murder.
